It is Monday, and you are probably still working, or not. I started early, so I finished early. And you've guessed it, seeing as I'm working from home still: I found a wicked mix for you all! One that you have probably already seen and you are thinking ''jeez, he's a bit slow, isn't he?''. Yes, I am not as woke as the kids are (don't know if I'm using that correctly). But hey ho, you cannot have everything the way you want it. If you have seen and listened to this mix already, I do apologise. But why not listen to it again and again?
You all know what Anjunabeats is, and what kind of impact they have had so far in the dance scene. And they still keep on pushing music toward us, and I am happy to sit here, and let them take over my earwaves. I am loving it, and to celebrate their 20 years in the game, they have asked a few DJs to fabricate mixes, Mixes which obviously contain records released on this majestic label, and a few have contributed so far: Oliver Smith, Mat Zo, Sunny Lax, Jaytech, Maor Levi, Nitrous Oxide, ilan Bluestone, Grum, Fatum, and more are coming our way. So make sure you follow Anjunabeats on the usual platforms if you don't want to miss out!
Obviously Mat Zo does not need an introduction. If you are really that desperate to find out who he is, just Google him. For now we should be focussing on his contribution to the celebrations surrounding the label Anjunabeats. And his mix has already received a lot of positive feedback, and within a few months already nearly 12k plays on Soundcloud. Now that's big, but not big enough for a Grammy nominee.

The good thing about these mixes is the fact that you know most of the tracks (or sometimes them all), and you know you won't be disappointed. Especially with a label such as Anjunabeats, you know you are in for a good ride!
A few records did caught my eye, but I have to give one record the ultimate credit for being such a f**king epic tune. I remember hearing that one for the first time in an Armin van Buuren megamix for ASOT, and it just stuck with me. It was played only for max of 30 seconds, but those 30 seconds left a lasting impression. I am obviously talking about 'Larry Mountains 54'. Also credit for the most random title ever. Obviously not the weirdest name ever, but it's up there.
Mat Zo, his mix is dope as f**k. And I've really enjoyed it. He's used a few slammers, and some are still my all time favourite anthems, like 'Larry Mountains 54' and ;Meet Me In Montauk'.
I can only share the love, like so many already have. I am in awe when it comes to Mat Zo's mix, and the music that is released on Anjunabeats.
