I am fully aware that the Summer is just about to end. This weekend will give us the last bit of Summer, with temperatures nearly above 20 degrees Celsius. After this the winter jackets are coming out, scarf are mandatory, and maybe gloves (if you feel snazzy enough). And I thought it would be a great thing to just get this last urge for the Summer of 2018. We had a good Summer, we can't complain at all. Some days the weather was ridicilously hot, but we can't complain.
You know who else don't complain? b2s and the people behind 'Pussylounge'. This succesfull concept has taken the world by storm, And it's a good concept they created: a carte blanche for the DJs, just play whatever they like, as long as it's hard and bouncy. Hence why it's called 'Freestyle'. Expect everything from Jumpstyle to Hardcore to Hardstyle to Hard House to Bounce. Everything hard. And what they also added was the wicked looking stages, and a lot of pretty women. Every picture of the Pussylounge includes pretty women, like the one above: in nice swim costumes. We won't be seeing them for a few months now, unless you like in the Carribean.
To showcase what their Summer would be like (and where you could find them) they made this nice promo mix, containing 40 records, carefully mixed together. And it's Freestyle, so expect the music genres to jump from one to the next. It's Freestyle man, there are no rules or laws. Well, maybe one law: enjoy life, have fun. And if that means playing Andre Hazes in a Freestyle set, or Celine Dion, or whoever, as long as you (the DJ) and the crowd has fun. And I had fun listening to this hour and 22 minute long mix!

What a tracklist! It took me quite a while to typ it. Well, at least it's Sunday, and I've got nothing else planned lol.
I started listening to this, and immediately I got into a Summer mode, I was feeling the Summer vibes coming through the speakers. I'd imagined myself being at one of their events, in the sun, dancing/raving, whilst the beats and basses came across the field towards my ears, and my eyesight would be dominated by lasers, stroboscopes and beautiful women. Is this a raver's kind of paradise? Wouldn't mind that to be heaven actually.
I'm feeling it. I'm in love with it. It makes me move like I've not done before. My head is already moving so rapidly, it feels like it's going to detach. And my feet... well, if I don't have blisters after, I don't know. This is really the best mix to listen to, celebrating the end of the Summer. And also to make us aware of the Pussylounge, and that we should actually go. Thanks health for not letting me go out for the last year or so.
Anyway, this mix is dope. It does contain a few very cheesy records. Some I really, really don't feel. Like '#Groeien', and 'It's A Dream'. I know it's Freestyle and even cheesy records are played, but whenever I hear these records, skipping is my first reaction. If I would be at an event, I would visit the loo or the bar. These don't get me going.
I can't pick a favourite. Too diffiult.
It's Sunday, and it's sunny. Embrace it for now, as long as we can. And press play! You know it makes sense.
