𝙋𝙡𝙮𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤 𝙈𝙞𝙭 𝙊𝙣𝙚 !!! - 04-11-18

We made it! It's Friday, time to get ready for the weekend. We still have a few hours of working ahead of us, but at least we can count down. Counting the time until we can unwind, and relax. We will still have the agony ahead of us, which is upcoming Monday, which requires us to go back to work, but until then, we've got two days to ourselves. And it might be 2 days of relaxing, but I've got your back covered. I've got some music for you all to enjoy, and to give you enough boost to go through today. You don't want to miss out on this mix.

So, what is it I've got for you to listen to today? It's a mix by Craig Scott, and it's all about Hardcore Techno music, the early stuff. Yes, the early 90s style that dominated the underground scene. The sound of music that was influenced by other styles, including Techno, Acid House, etc. Hardcore become bigger, better, and slightly bolder, but during the early 90s it was still in its infancy, and had to grow. And it certainly did that, but as you can hear during this mix, it was open for interpretations.

Craig Scott uploaded this mix four years ago, and I only discovered it now. And it landed in my favourite list at the right moment at the right time. According to Craig, this one isn't for the faint-hearted, and he certainly has a point. It's not as manic as Terror, where the BPMs can go to a gazillion, but it's still powerful enough to make you move. And moving is what you will do, once you press the play button. An hour of early 90s Hard Dance music, you're going to love it!

This is as good looking as you can imagine. This is just what I needed to hear, and if you haven't discovered this mix yet, you should jump on this right this second.

I love the early Hardcore Techno sound that was influenced heavily by Acid music. I think, and I might be wrong, DJ Dano once said 'bring back Acid into Hardcore', and he's got a valid point. Would the younger generation get it? Probably not, but the older generation will still love it and appreciate it.

Hardcore has drastically changed over the years, and this early sound has faded into obscurity. Like it doesn't exist anymore. Which is a pity, for sure. But thankfully we can go back in time and appreciate what once was the dopest music on Earth.

Craig's mix is tight, dope, and also downloadable. The tracks are all fucking solid, and he has done us a favour by making it. No negative feedback whatsoever.

Best record? Well, got to give it to Vene - Pain. Dope as fuck!
