  • *** VINYL MIX *** ID&T Radio 11 jul 2001

A couple of weeks ago, I was listening to a CD, released by ID&T, back in 2001, and whilst searching for ID&T related stuff on Soundcloud, I found a mix from that same year. And obviously, as it names the radio station ID&T used to have, in the title, I was curious. If I'm being honest, I don't even think we received ID&T radio in Heerlen, Limburg (NL), as the reception back then was very bad, and I think only Maastricht would be covered. So as much as I know the name of the radio station, I never actually listened to it live. And the name of the DJ is also a new one to me. Aad Mouthaan. Never heard or seen this name before. So I went into this mix blindly. I had to, as ID&T had the reputation of being the radio station who had the best sets etc. So for Aad to play on this radio station 25 years ago, that would have meant he knows his stuff, and the mix should be a super one, one worthy of being played on ID&T radio. And it certainly was worthy. When I listened to this mix for the first time, I was blown away. This takes me back to the early 2000s and the music that was hot in 2001. Boy, the tunes selected back then by Aad, they were hot records. Very hot. This is the kind of music I grew up with, and to this day truly admire, and love. And they are perfect for a nice and warm day like today! Low End Theory - Do You Like Robots EP Kinky Joe - Kinkyesque EP Pete Moss - What's In Your Head Patrick Turner - Coast To Coast EP Subtech - You PQM - Fly Away Adam F - Musique In My Mind Marshall Jefferson - Mushrooms EP Espiritu - Man Don't Cry Joshua - Watch Da Bass New Aluminists Presents - Down The Discotheque Paranoid Jack - Deliver Me Mateo & Matos - Spulltisch Losoul vs Freestyle Man - Aspects On The Same Theme This is the kind of music you would listen to, when at a beach bar, with a cocktail in one hand, and the sun beaming on your head. Or just chilling on the beach. Whatever works for you, work for me. This mix has been on repeat for days now, because it's that good! Funky vibes, chilled vibes, all kinds of vibes I'm experiencing. The tracks are also so darn good, and I don't think I've encountered these before, or it might have been a very long time ago. Each track is solid and sound, but when 'Coast To Coast EP' hits, you know it hits. And it does hit you hard. Simplistic in its nature, but the feelings it gives you, is tremendous. I am so happy now, hearing this tunes. Dreaming of my summer holiday, that's for damn sure! Aad's mix is super chill, and I really enjoyed it. I think it did say that this was the second hour, but I could only find the one hour mix. But what a splendid mix this was. My suggestion? Go and jump on this, and let this dominate your weekend. If the weather is as good as it is here, you will thank me later for playing this mix. • Luminosity Beach Festival 2026 Tribute Mix

I am back! Back with a brand spanking new mix by Antone. And what's so special about this one, is that it's a full on Trance mix, dedicated to an event which is taking place in a few weeks from now, in the Netherlands, and the event is called Luminosity Beach Festival. And if you are a Trance lover, this is the place to be. From June 25th till June 28th, scattered among a few stages, you will have the biggest names in the Trance scene, doing their bit to please the Trance fanatics. Unfortunately I cannot go to Luminosity. But if you are, I know you will have a splendid time there. The line up looks tremendous: Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Bryan Kearney, Mauro Picotto, Factor B, Richard Durand, Airwave, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Talla 2XLC, DuMonde, and many, many more. An event you should definitely get excited about, if you purchased tickets, that is. And why am I listening to this mix? Well, I was in the Netherlands less than 24 hours ago, and it cropped up on my timeline. And we do parties extremely well. Luminosity is one of those events, which has been on my radar for years, but it never seems to happen. I would also loose my marbles and would have difficulties to see all the acts I want to see, as most of those on the line up are ones I would actually want to see. So I would have to choose, which is always difficult. At least I've got this mix by Antone to keep me occupied. And it is jam packed with fantastic anthems, as you can see below: 1. Markus Schulz presents Dakota - Faultline (Antone's Reminiscence Intro Mix Edit) 2. Solarstone - Solarcoaster (Aquarius Extended Remix) 3. Amy Wiles - Each Other 4. Kamaya Painters - Wasteland (Nifra & Fisherman Extended Remix) 5. Vincent de Moor - Flowtation (Dan Stone Extended Remix) 6. Daxson & Nation Of One - Now Or Never 7. Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella - Gouryella (Alan Fitzpatrick Tribute To '99 Extended Remix) 8. Peter Steele - Forever 9. John O'Callaghan - Choice Of The Angels (Sean Tyas Remix) 10. Schiller Mit Heppner - Leben... I Feel You (Aly & Fila Extended Remix) 11. Aeon Shift - Point Of No Return 12. David Forbes - Answers (2019 Refit) 13. Factor B presents Highlandr - A Moment Of Melancholy (Cold Blue Remix) 14. Craig Connelly - Eclipse The Sun 15. Cold Blue - Colors 16. Solarstone - Seven Cities (Ferry Tayle Extended Remix) [Antone Edit] 17. Aly & Fila with Ferry Tayle - Take Me Higher (Mirage Extended Remix) 18. Ciaran McAuley - Permission To Exhale (Extended Uplifting Mix) 19. O'Callaghan & Kearney - Restricted Motion (Lostly Extended Remix) 20. Doppenberg - A Million Lights 21. Paul Oakenfold X Daxson X RAM - RAMsterdam 22. Will Atkinson - Rush Oh, this is a very pleasant looking tracklist. A lot of tracks I've not heard before, or maybe in this iteration. Of course I know the big hits from back in the day, but these remixes and refixes, I've not seen before. Thanks Antone, for keeping it interesting. It is a splendid mix. And it is certainly one that will get everyone hyped up for this event. I wish I could go, but I've got other events to attend. But one day, Luminosity, one day I will go and live out my wildest fantasies. As this is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, Trance events in the world. The tracks are awesome, and so is this mix. Antone did a remarkable job. It might start on the slower side of Trance, but it then goes a tad faster. But, do you know, I do prefer the very slow Trance, especially when 'Solarcoaster' comes on. What a blinding track. I can just picture myself, on a sunny location, near a beach, with a drink in one hand, and the Sun setting at the same time, and hearing this coming through the speakers. That, to me, sounds like Heaven on Earth. A fantastic tribute mix by Antone. I hope you all have a great time! I won't, as I will not attend, but if you are, let yourself be free, and ride the Trance wave! • MysteryLand - Tunnel of Terror (Relive those days) Tribute to Lady Dana (2025)

I have owned many Mysteryland CDs over the years, and especially the ones from the 90s have always been my favourite ones. And even though the recording quality sucked, especially around 1996 to 1998, they are still awesome CDs. And the 1997 edition was, to my understanding, the only one which had a dedicated CD for the Terror lovers out there. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that the only time they dedicated a CD to Terror? I think it certainly was the only time, unless they released a CD later, mid 00s. Those I've not bought. The DJ in question who was responsible for this CD, was Lady Dana. And she made one hell of a CD. Recording quality might have been bad (which was kind of standard in 1996/1997), but the records were still awesome. The actual CD was split into three sections: the first one being Thunderdome, the second the Tunnel Of Terror, and the third one the Atomium. That year, they also had a second CD, more focussed on the clubbier/housier side of Mysteryland. But as I was a die-hard Hardcore fanatic, I only cared about the first one, the one with the blue cover. I am not the only one who loves Lady Dana's mix. Sigma-NL is also a fan, and made this tribute to Lady Dana. Basically using the same tracks (and one more) as you can find on the Mysteryland CD and did his own version of this legendary mix. So it's technically not Lady Dana's set, but close enough, as it's got the same tracks. Sigma-NL did add 'At War' by Leathernecks, which wasn't on the CD, but it was certainly played everywhere back in 1997. Lady Dana - Terror Intro Sarin Assault - Terreur 909 Rob Gee - Eeg Bor Kaos - Fuck Is Right (Destroyer Remix) Noise - Guess Who!! (Terror Time Mix) Rave Masters - The Cyclon DJ Gizmo - Dopeman (Buzzy's Aaaargghh!!!! Remix) The Masters - The Execution Matrix & Wargroover - Do It Now Nasty Django - Hardcore Muthafucka Fear Factory - T 1000 (H-K) Darrien Kelly & Scott Brown - Geleihoofd Royal Core - Ain't Nobody Gad DJ Dave - Listen.... Rave Masters - Make Me President Das Xon - Space Zero Zero DJ 8 Mix - Hardiness Delta 9 - No More Regret D,O.A. - DJ Ass-Fucker Leathernecks - At War (Remix) Lady Dana - Terror Outro This immediately takes me back to the 90s. I don't know if it was in 1997 when I actually bought this CD, but it must have been close enough to 1997. And I've played Lady Dana's mix probably the most. Well, maybe second most played, as the Thunderdome would be listened to the most. Die-hard gabber. Lady Dana did a remarkable job, and made a super memorable CD, still loved by many, including yours truly, and Sigma-NL. This set still gives me goose bumps, and I can still dream it. I know each track by heart, and know in which order all these tracks appear. Granted, 'At War' wasn't on the CD, but is a nice added bonus. But all the others, I do know, and love. Would I class each song as a Terror song? Not really. But within this set, it does appear to have Terror vibes, and that's all that matters to me. And of course, as long as it destroys my ears, I am content. Especially when 'Fuck Is Right' and 'Guess Who!!!' is on, that's when I lose myself completely. Both underrated anthems. Can't believe this was recorded 29 years ago! Well, not Sigma-NL's set, but the actual recording. How time flies. And this has been at least 28 years in my life. And I could not imagine a life without this set by the mighty Lady Dana. I miss this Terror from the 90s. Just too damn good, right? • Mystery Land: DJ Daisy (r_AW Industrial Stage) (Aug 2008)

What a lovely day it has been. The Sun has been shining ferociously, and I've been in the garden for most of the day. And it is doing the standard chores (cutting grass) during which I need some form of entertainment. First set of today was Duck Sauce, and the second one was a set I only stumble upon the other day. A set by DJ Daisy, recorded at Mysteryland 2008. The event I did not go to, as at this stage my interest disappeared. The line-up looked OK, but it wasn't my cup of tea anymore. Well, maybe one area: the r_AW Industrial stage. Daisy played among some of the finest Industrial acts, such as N-Vitral, Somatic Response, Rude Awakening, Peaky Pounder, Noisia, and the DJ Producer. And there she was, DJ Daisy, playing among the biggest names, and holding her ground. Truth be told, I do not know much about Daisy. I've seen her name on flyers, but that's about it. And according to Partyflock, she hasn't played at an event for 11+ years. That's a shame. I do like finding these hidden sets on Soundcloud from artists who once were everywhere, and then disappeared. I always wonder, out of curiosity, what had happened. Because if I judge this set at one big event, she was certainly capable of destroying speakers. She certainly did destroy my headphone speakers. But it also made the chores get done quicker, and that's sometimes all you need in life. The Relic - White Darkness Moleculez - Flatline Promo - Bass Management The Emperator & Chromatic - Mental Fear Chaosbringer - Eternal Sadness (The Outside Agency Remix) Mental Wreckage - Neural Framework Enzyme X - Suppression Device Alice D - Scheusal SPL - Match Hit The Emperator - After All Stormtrooper - Fear FM SPL - Elbow Deep Enzyme X - The Rosy-Lipped Batfish Stormtrooper - And A Storm Arose Enzyme X - Skirmish Sandy Warez - Blasted Pole Radium & Daisy - Trust Or Die (Trust Mix) SPL - Lost Frequency The DJ Producer - The Signal 2007 (D-Passion Remix) The Outside Agency - Hell's Basement What an insane tracklist! Haven't heard these in a long time. And some of these records I thought weren't that 'old'. But it clearly seems to be the opposite. Time is just a concept that makes no sense: in my head these songs were maybe 5 years old... oh how wrong I am. I do love myself a bit of r_AW. Industrial Hardcore is just too damn underrated, and should deserve more praise from everyone. And also r_AW. Loved this concept, but always wondered: what happened to it? One day they are everywhere, and then they aren't? Daisy put one hell of a set together, with some serious slammers. Obviously I am a tad biased towards certain records, as I'm a fan of the darker sound, especially from Enzyme X. And 'Suppression Device'' is still one hard hitting record. Closely followed by 'The Signal 2007', remixed by D-Passion, and 'Fear FM'. I cannot comment on how Mysteryland 2008 was, but judging this set, I certainly can imagine that the r_AW area must have been trembling during Daisy's set. What a wicked set. If you are in the mood for a raw set, you do not need to look anywhere else. This is the one you need to hear! • Duck Sauce - ARC Festival elrow Stage (2025 Full Set)

I cannot express how excited I am to see Armand van Helden in August, in Milton Keynes. It is something I've been dreaming of, for a very long time. He is a true House pioneer and legend, and has been on the forefront for many decades. His songs have got many dancing over the years, and some have turned into all time classics. But when he formed Duck Sauce more than a decade ago, with A-Trak, the world had to embrace a new phenomena. Duck Sauce wasn't just a one hit wonder. Duck Sauce was here to stay! Why am I talking about Duck Sauce, and not Armand van Helden? Well, he's one half of Duck Sauce, and I've been going through YouTube, to find more of his sets. And this set just randomly appeared, for good reasons. And once I listened to this set, I was hooked. Never heard of ARC Festival, and elrow stage neither, but it seems like heaps of fun! And leave it to Duck Sauce to bring the funk! The set was recorded last year, and it looks very exciting. Very vibrant (lots of colours), and some funny characters too, including two chickens (no ducks) . And of course Duck Sauce. And a very excited crowd. And confetti. And I wish I was there. The set looks immense, and they are both having a great time behind the decks. Duck Sauce might have been a fun thing at the beginning, looking like it was going to be a silly side project, but it is serious. And we've all embraced the Duck Sauce. Never had actual duck sauce though. What does it taste like? What did they play? Well, the tracks which got everyone dancing! Hopefully Armand will bring a few of these tunes to Milton Keynes! They are fire! Duck Sauce - Put The Sauce On It Duck Sauce - Charlie Chazz & Rappin Ralph (Club Mix) Duck Sauce - Smiley Face (Extended) Duck Sauce - aNYway ID - ID Modjo - Lady Stardust - Music Sound Better With You Uffie feat Pharrell Williams - ADD SUV (Armand van Helden Club Mix) Duck Sauce - I Don't Mind (Extended) Duck Sauce - Falling In Love (Butch Extended Mix) Duck Sauce - Ask Me Duck Sauce - Get Go Steppin Duck Sauce - Mesmerize Duck Sauce - Mesmerize (Re-Quack) Duck Sauce - NRG (Club Mix) Duck Sauce - La La La (Extended Mix) Duck Sauce feat Fuzzy Cufflinxxx - Clap Your Feet Duck Sauce - Can't Stop Duck Sauce - Boogie In Your Butt Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf (Dada Life Remix) Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix/Annie Mac 2010 Version) Armand van Helden feat Duane Harden - U Don't Know Me A-Trak & Kideko - Loving You Armand van Helden - I Want Your Soul (AVH Rework) Duck Sauce - You're Nasty Duck Sauce - Goody Two Shoes (Club Mix) Duck Sauce - Barbra Streisand (Original Mix) That's a LOT of Duck Sauce. But I cannot get enough of them. I need more Duck Sauce, and I'm so happy they still release new music. I cannot tell if they are still performing, but they certainly should bring the funk everywhere on this globe. Bring Duck Sauce to whoever needs to hear them, and I bet you my life: it is more and more of us that need this. Their set looks so much fun. And the audience are really enjoying this. So many funky colours, and not many phones out. Hands in the air, and at the same time, being surrounded by some weird creatures. And hearing Duck Sauce? I could not imagine anything cooler than this. Especially when the temperatures here in the UK are still extremely pleasant. I don't know anything about this event or what the elrow stage represents, but it is certainly fun to watch. The music obviously plays a huge part, and people are truly enjoying themselves. This is the perfect set, for a weird stage. You know what I mean (hopefully). It is rammed to the max, for good reason. Duck Sauce are a phenomena, a true funk phenomena! And they have delivered an awesome set, with some memorable tunes, including the tune that got the whole world singing a singer's name: Barbra Streisand. I've used the word 'Funk' quite a lot, but it is so fitting for this duo. I love this kind of House. And I do love ducks. Does that mean that Duck Sauce is life? It certainly is. Especially when I hear 'NRG'. They have made some extremely catchy tunes, but NRG is (to me) the catchiest of them all. It has brought a smile on my face when I needed it the most. And I also LOVE 'You're Nasty'. Fantastic set. Mr van Helden, please bring these tracks with you at the Glitterbox stage in Milton Keynes in August, please. Or, maybe put mr A-Trak in your suitcase, and smuggle him to our small and humble city. Bring the Duck Sauce. I am being dead serious when i say that the world needs more Duck Sauce. We need this, more than anything else in the world. This is one super sexy set. It has made me feel the boogie in my butt!! • Delirium & Sketler Early Hardcore vinyl mix (2026)

It is Saturday, and the temperatures are looking great for us in the UK. Today the maximum temperature will be 26 degrees Celsius, and tomorrow and Monday, it will be even warmer. So time to get the BBQ out of the shed, start those sausages, burgers, and skewers. And you could also listen to something whilst preparing the food. A very pleasant Hardcore mix by Sketler, and the almighty legend from the States, DJ Delirium. And of course they went down the oldschool Hardcore route, and I'm not mad. I'm excited. Especially to hear DJ Delirium. An American legend, that's for sure. I don't think I've ever had the opportunity to see him live, which is a shame. He's been a legend in the scene for many decades, and to most, they will state that his Thunderdome '96 set is one of the most memorable ones. I would also like to add his contribution to the shortly lived 'Heroes Of Hardcore' CD series. And also his releases over the years have been received pretty well! Sketler is a name I only discovered a few months ago, and I'm really fond of his channel. A lot of Early Hardcore mixes, and now one with the mighty DJ Delirium. How cool is that? But more to the point: are the tracks selected any good? And as this was a live set, is it any good? I can comment on that: it is a dope one. And to me, it feels like the perfect mix, and all these tracks are in line with the sound Delirium was pushing back in the day. This might be the perfect BBQ mix (if you live in a country in which the temperatures are warm enough for you to have one)... The Masochist - Chant The Prophet & DJ Delirium - Da Boomin' Bass (Da Skunk Mix) U4EA - Crisia (Stunned Guys Remix) Interstate - Get A Little Stupid DJ Delirium & Da Grimreaper - We Control Da Sound (X-press Yourself) Micado - Raise Your Hands The Brooklyn Boyz - Murder One DJ Lancinhouse meets The Stunned Guys - Fuckin' Sweat DJ Delirium feat DJ Hypertech - The Funky Skunk Lords Of The Underworld - Fuckin' Them Beats Public Domain - I Know It Miss Groovy - Naked Aggression 2 Bad Brothers - I Wanna Love You Down DJ Sim - Take This DJ Delirium & Omar Santana - Drop Da Beat DJ Ricci & MC Hair - Sgam Sgam Predator - The Strongest Gang (The Hood) Insane - Kiss My Ass DJ Bass-D & King Matthew - Let's Get Fresh DJ Isaac - Bass And Sound Dr. Phil Omanski - BZRK Feelings (Toni Salmonelli Mix) Pino D'Ambini feat Beasty Boy - Do It Again (Hektik) DJ Oh Oh Omar Santana - Slamma Jamma Renata Ricciardi - Do You Dream Da Beatblower - Fuck Your S Off (Stunned Guys Mix) Tellurian - Don't Stop Lenny Dee - The Dreamer Bioforce vs DJ Mike Oh'Man - Kick Some Shit DJ Oh Oh Omar Santana - Bass Keep Pumping (Pumping It Harder Remix) General Noise - Inssomniak Bruyaa & Ozonic - Welcome To Death Row Bruyaa & Ozonic - Ruthless Archatos - The Strength Of Unity This shit made me feel 20 years younger again! Oh, hang on, most of these were the 90s! That fucking 30+ years ago! Oh my God, I'm getting old too damn quick. The 90s only feel like yesterday, not 3 decades ago. This tracklist is immense. It has certainly made me feel young and exuberant again. I feel like I've got the power to go for days, raving until the Sun comes up. This took me back to my happy place. And as said, it kind of has Delirium written all over it. I know Sketler was on the mix too, but these songs fit Delirium the most. Just like the good old days, right? I do love this era, as it has the most memories, and the tunes were so damn good. Especially when it comes to the cross-over Hardcore anthems, like 'Fuckin' Them Beats'. Was it Happy or not? I couldn't care less. 'Take This', the same. But the one that gave me the most feelings, is 'BZRK Feelings'. What a monster anthem. Buzz Fuzz and his label, he had it all. The monster anthems. I love this record a lot. The piano section is tremendous, still gives me goose bumps! A wonderful set. You don't see a set like this one very often, but when you do, you have to embrace it, acknowledge it, and do what we did in the 90s: play it out loud and drive your family, friends, and neighbours mad. Do it like we did in the 90s, don't hesitate. Relive the moments, and make yourself happy, and feel younger again. Oh, maybe one negative: I've never understood 'Sgam Sgam'. One of the shittiest songs. Sorry. • Ministry Of Sound & Pacha Ibiza Club Classics (Mixed by Audio K9) (2021)

Last year I discovered a mix, which was made by Audio K9, and it was the second instalment of a series dedicated to Ministry Of Sound and Pacha Ibiza. And I think I did mention it in the previous review, I've been to Ministry Of Sound, but never to Pacha. Never been to Ibiza, if truth be told. But I have heard of Pacha, don't you worry. And that mix in particular, I really enjoyed. I had it on repeat for days on end, and recently I had an urge, I needed more of this music. So I decided to give the first instalment another go. So, here it is. The second one was ace, I really liked it. But I needed more. Recently we bought tickets to go to an event in August, and Armand van Helden and Roger Sanchez are performing there. Obviously my heart started racing even faster, and it made me want to hear those glorious anthems again. You know the ones I'm talking about, the ones which appeared on many compilations, especially the ones released by Ministry Of Sound. Sorry for the Pacha fans, but don't know if they ever released albums like MOS did. I was a MOS fanboy. Going to see Armand is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and it made me want to go back in time, when his songs were everywhere. His set at the Boiler Room in 2024 also made me fall in love again with that sound from back in the day. And obviously, thinking of MOS, made me go to Audio K9's set, and it has been on repeat since 6:50am. It is now nearly 5pm. And I will listen to it tomorrow too, if needs must. But what's in this mix? Anything jolly, anything you should get excited about? Well, check this out! 01. Dennis Ferrer - Hey Hey (Vocal Mix) 02. SoulSearcher - Can't Get Enough (Vocal Mix) 03. Freemasons - Love On My Mind (Club Mix) 04. Gusto & Freemasons - Disco's Revenge (Vocal Mix) 05. Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008 (Vocal Mix) 06. Eric Prydz - Call On Me 07. Michael Gray - The Weekend (Vocal Mix) 08. Hi Tack - Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U) 09. Axwell - Feel The Vibe (Vocal Mix) 10. Ce Ce Peniston Vs. Silicon Soul - Finally Right On (Discosid Edit) 11. Layo & Bushwacka - Love Story Vs Finally (Tim Deluxe Remix) 12. Tori Amos - Professional Widow (Armands Start Trunk Funkin' Mix) 13. David Morales - Needin U (Soul Mix) 14. Danny Tengalia & Kurtis Mantronik - Music Is The Answer (Audio K9 '77 Strings' Edit) 15. Liquid, UMEK, Groovebox - Sweet Harmony (Audio K9 'Brighter Days' Edit) 16. Supermode - Tell Me Why (Kastra 2014 Remix) 17. Missy Elliott - 4 My People (Basement Jaxx Remix) 18. Basement Jaxx - Jump N Shout (Erik Hagleton Remix) 19. Junior Jack - Thrill Me 20. Erick Morillo - Dancin (Fuzzy Hair Remix) 21. Milk & Sugar - Hey (Chris Lake & Lys Vocal Remix) 22. Alex Gaudino - Watch Out 23. Mousse T. - Horny (Mousse T's Extended Remix) 24. Avicii Vs TV Rock, Axwell - Bromance In The Air (Remix) 25. Rui Da Silva - Touch Me (Audio K9 Intro Edit) 26. Reflekt featuring Delline Bass - Need To Feel Loved (Adam K & Soha Vocal Remix) What a list! This gives me goosebumps. Another epic list, and great songs! This takes me back to my younger self, when life was amazing, and I had no care in the world. Dance until the Sun comes up, and the only worry being where to get my next drink from? Which bar? And how to get home. But nothing else. The music guided me through life back then, and many years later, I can still feel that happiness, in each song I'm listening to. I need to mention this before I proceed: '4 My People' is a horrendous song. One of the worst Dance songs ever made. I cannot stand that song. I don't mind a bit of Missy Elliot, but this version is just not my cup of tea. Some other records, I have come to love over the years, like 'Watch Out' and 'Infinity 2008', but Basement Jaxx's song, that still hasn't reached that level, and I highly doubt it ever will. But the remaining 25 records are dope. And I'm not the only one who loves it: this mix has got a high play count on Soundcloud, and many have responded. This has got the big anthems in here, and when I say big, I do mean BIG. Come on, can anything compete with Dance music from those glorious years? I love them all. Some earworms in here, and the three best ones all in one row. 'Call On Me' a masterpiece, 'The Weekend' an anthem which makes us all wish the weekend was around the corner, but the one that gets me the happiest, is 'Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U)'. A catchy song, and the hook is also superb. Can anyone take me back to these MOS years? We are so advanced as a species, and yet we've not been able to invent a time machine? Please, hurry the f**k up, I want to go back! Nothing can compete with this. • Armand Van Helden | Boiler Room: Miami (2024)

The other day I was on Facebook, as I am most days anyway. I saw a post about an upcoming event taking place in Milton Keynes, which isn't miles away from where I live. An event called 'Electric Paradise', and the line up looks awesome. As much as I love music, the main stage didn't do much 'damage' to me, and didn't get me excited. It was the smaller stage, called 'Glitter Box', which made me extremely excited. Dimitri From Paris, Fat Tony, Kirollus, Roger Sanchez, but the big name that got me all excited, is Armand Van Helden! My all time hero, who has made countless anthems. A name I always associate with excellent music, and he's coming to Milton Keynes. How can I resist? So we booked the ticket. Sorry Grace Jones, UB40, Kool & The Gang, but I'm going to see Armand van Helden. A legend in the Dance scene, who has been causing damage to eardrums all over the world since at least 1992. And I've been following him since 1994, when he released 'Witch Doktor'. That song is 32 years old! I can't believe it. But that's certainly not the only song I know him from. He has been at the forefront of House music, and he just never stops. He keeps on going, and now he's coming to MK. I can't believe that either. Such an American icon, to this little English city. And he should definitely be on the main stage. Knowing I'm going to see him in a few months, is certainly exciting. And to get myself ready for a set by this legend, I went to my trusted source of entertainment, YouTube. And guess what I found? A lot of his sets. One of his sets was recorded in 2024 at the Boiler Room in Miami. The place was packed solid, rammed to the max. And Armand brought the fire with him. An hour set, with probably the biggest all time records, including a few of his own. Seeing this set makes me even more excited: the first time seeing him live. He's been (unbeknownst to him) in my life for the last 32 years, and yet I've never seen him live. 2026 will be the year. It will be a busy Summer. Going to a few gigs, and it is certainly going to be a great one. Armand is going to have a long lasting impression. Going to see this legend, this pioneer! CJ Bolland - Sugar Is Sweeter (Armand Van Helden Drum N' Bass Mix) Tori Amos - Professional Widow (Armand Van Helden Star Trunk Funkin' Mix) Mouse T & Hot 'N' Juicy feat Inaya Day - Horny (Instrumental) Kenny Dope presents The Bucketheads - The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall Into My Mind) Armand Van Helden - The Funk Phenomena Paul Johnson - Get Get Down Cajmere feat Dajae - Brighter Days (Underground Goodies Mix) Robin S - Show Me Love Modjo - Lady (Hear Me Tonight) Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You The Shapeshifters - Lola's Theme Michael Gray - The Weekend Mylo - Drop The Pressure (Laidback Luke Bootleg) Armand Van Helden & Brittles - NEMO Armand Van Helden & Brittles - Flirt To Convert Armand Van Helden - Wings Arman Van Helden - My My My (AVH Rework) Armand Van Helden - I Want Your Soul (Armand Van Helden Rework) Mark Knight & Armand Van Helden - The Music Began To Play Uffie feat Pharrell Williams - Add Suv (Armand Van Helden Club Mix) Duck Sauce - aNYway A Small Phat One - Music For Pushchairs w/ Armand Van Helden feat Duane Harden - You Don't Know Me This is a tracklist of dreams! Sweet Lord, this DJ knows how to bring the classics and turn it all upside down! He is playing the right records, and if I was there, in Miami (which will never happened: too expensive), I would have lost my shit. But only a couple more sleeps and I will be able to loose my mind. Seeing Armand will be one of the highlights of the year. And I will be raving my ass off. If he brings these songs, it will be fire in Milton Keynes. I've always liked his style, and his songs are super great. Especially the songs from his Killing Puritans album. A controversial one, but a fantastic album. 'Koochy' anyone? His Boiler Room set is truly amazing. You see the master at work. And even though the people right in front of the decks, and some behind, don't loose their minds, I certainly did, at home. The room is packed, and Armand's selection is getting me extremely excited. And they are certifiable bangers. Timeless classics, and they will be enjoyed by many generations to come. Obviously Armand Van Helden's biggest hits are in here, like 'My My My' and 'I Want Your Soul', 'You Don't Know Me', and of course 'The Funk Phenomena', and I rate them highly, but it's 'Wings'. That's his best record. And it has been on repeat ever since I found this set on YouTube. Big anthem. Those people don't know when a good track hits them, and this is the best. A fantastic set. I have no doubt that Armand will bring the heat to Electric Paradise, and I will be dancing my balls off. I finally have the chance to witness this pioneer do his thing, and it will be a a memorable night. One which will go in the history books. It might just be another gig for Armand, but to me (personally), it is going to mean the world. 30+ years in the making, and never thought I would see him. I am excited, can't you tell? • ID&T Yearmix 2001 - The Ultimate Dance Mix Of The Year

2001 was a great year for Dance music. I can wholeheartedly confirm this, as that's the year in which I decided to rave my arse off, more than before, and during that year I also bought most of the compilations out there, including the one you are about to listen to. It was also the year I went to Mysteryland 2001 at Six Flags theme park, in the Netherlands. That whole year was so damn good, and the year mix, which was released by ID&T, it summed up the year beautifully. To me, and probably many others too, it was a glorious year! And I can't believe it's 25 years ago! That year was so mesmerizing for me, I can still experience it. If I only close my eyes, and let the music penetrate my skull, I am young again. But then I open my eyes again, and look in the mirror, and think ''fuck, what has happened?''. Time goes by too damn quick, and before you know it, you are old. And you never want the good years to end. You only realise that they did end, years down the line, when you are older, wiser, and look back with fond memories. And 2001 was certainly a great year for Dance music. When I bought this album in 2001, I played it until it drove everyone around me nuts. I have always had a soft spot for megamixes, and they are just better. Sometimes you don't need a full length song, but just the best bits. And a megamix does provide you with just that. But also, sometimes the best bits aren't enough, and it made me search for the longer versions. I still find this mix one of the finest released by ID&T. They have released so many mixes over the years, and I have always liked them. But this one, it is simply better than the others. Why? Well, two reasons: the mix was released in 2001, which was certainly the best year, and the second reason is: the music was much better. Timeless songs, that's for sure! I am content, as some would say. My youth on two discs. Not my full youth, don't get me wrong. I've lived a very full life and danced throughout the 90s and 00s, so to single out one year, to embrace my youth, isn't fair. But it is by far one of the finest years. Would you agree or disagree? ID&T already pushed away the harder styles, and went full AWOL on the harder styles. Especially Hardcore, which was a pity. But I did not mind them moving toward the House and Trance side, because it gave us new events to go to, like Sensation and Innercity. And where would we be without them? It was a splendid year, and the two discs do show it. And now the difficult part, choosing a favourite song. One from each disc, here we go: Jark Prongo - Rocket Base Out Of Grace - Obscura (Delivery 01) These two have certainly been with me the longest, and I still find these songs the coolest ones from 2001. There are also a few I do not get, like 'La La Land' and 'Ameno', I just don't see the hype. They are boring as fuck, especially 'La La Land'. One of ID&T's finest megamixes. Maybe the Happy Hardcore megamix is just better, by an inch. But this bad boy remains in my top 10 of all time, as it has the right records, from one amazing year. And as said, it makes me happy. I am very content. And now I'm hoping that we do have the technology to go back in time, 25 years back in time. I want to rave like it is 2001, with the music from that year. Boy, I hate getting old. • Louk - Grove Belters (2025)

It is Tuesday, and the week has only started for me and I'm still raving my bollocks off. There will never be a day during which I not rave. Today is certainly not that day. I needed something hard and rough, and our trusted source of excellent music, Soundcloud, reminded me of a mix from 2025, which I should listen to. It was made by DJ Louk, and it has been on repeat ever since I opened my eyes this morning. It is nearly 5pm, and it is still on. And I won't stop! This mix was made, as a dedication to a place called The Grove in Seaton. Never heard of it, but to be honest, there are so many places in the UK I've not heard of. I've not had the opportunity to rave in many places. In the Netherlands, yes, that's different, as I know a huge chunk of what's out there, but when it comes to the UK, I wouldn't have a clue. And looking at the image above, I initially thought it was a church, or an old club for the elderly who love to play bingo or poker. As I don't know anything about this place, and I don't want to offend anyone with my bullshit comments, let's focus on Louk's mix. It's got some hefty anthems in here. According to the mix, this venue was the place to be, in which Louk discovered these songs. And that's a nice thing, when a place has got good memories, and gave you songs to listen to, for the rest of your life. That's nice. But are the songs any good? The Elite - Rise Of The Machines Fred Baker vs Greg Nash - Electro Shock Giuseppe Ottaviani & Marc Van Linden - Until Monday (Mac & Mac Remix) Ka - Technologic Ralph Novell - Hurricane Parker & Clind - Cosmos Nostrum - Breath Alphazone - Flashback (Dave Joy Remix) S.F.M. - XTC Chris & Matt Kid - Control Dancefloor Rockaz - Warning (dB Shredaz Remix) The Squad - Contradiction Digital Pressure - Unreal Talla 2XLC - Come With Me (Scot Project Remix) Jon The Baptist presents JTB - Verse 1 Dave joy - Third Pleasure (Ubderdruk Remix) United Nations - Volume 9 (A) Wragg + Log One - Creatures Atrazin - In Paradise (V8 Mix) Russenmafia - Go Yes! I do love this set. It has got some wicked songs in here, some I've not heard in a while. It is nice that these songs take Louk back to the golden years of Hard Trance/Dance/House, and to when he raved his bollocks off in Seaton. I'm just happy that these songs take me back to my happy place, back in the day. When I could still rave until the sun comes up. Now I want to be in bed before the darkness sets (lol). This has been a wicked set by Louk, and he has delivered yet another memorable mix. And it makes me wonder what my life would have looked like, if I would have raved in the UK instead of the Netherlands? Would my life be completely different, or the same? I do remember going out in Skegness during the Millennium years, and have been to a few clubs in London, but that's about it. This has got some big songs, and the one that got me hyped the most, has to be 'In Paradise' by Atrazin. Boy, not heard that one in at least 20+ years, and it still sounds awesome! It still packs a punch and gives me unlimited energy, to do whatever I want to do. This has got the highest energy level out of all the songs used in this set. A sensational mix, and it's also downloadable. What more could you ask for? A time machine, so you can go back in time? Highly unlikely. You've got more chance of going to Mars and rave your bollocks of there. And that's just a fact. A fun fact, but still a fact! • Classic Trance Sessions 035 - DuMonde Special (2026)

DuMonde, a.k.a. JamX & De Leon. These names still resonate in my head, and they've been part of my youth during the years when Hard Trance dominated my life. I still love Hard Trance, but nothing can compare to the sound coming out of the scene around the Millennium, and that's when DuMonde was active, and destroying speakers all over the world. They came, they saw, and they certainly conquered. Their songs have stayed with me for decades after they had been released, and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to hear their songs being played at events. Unfortunately never saw them live, but at least their music was everywhere I went. And I'm happy for that. DuMonde were everywhere. On every compilation I bought. And I've bought many. The most memorable one, to me, was ID&T's own range of Trance CDs , which was called 'ID&T Trance'. Not very imaginative, but at least you knew where you stood. But also the 'Bitte Ein Beat', that was an awesome collection. And there have been plenty more. DuMonde ruled the Hard Trance scene, that's for sure. Their music appealed a lot to me. We are now 20+ years later, and I'm still in love with their songs. Rob Kellaghan made a mix, dedicated to these legends, and it's a near 2 1/2 hour long set, with 24 of their records. And that just proves to me that their legacy is still standing, and their music is timeless. And I'm glad to share this mix with you all, so you can experience what I did, back in the day! And you can agree or disagree about how awesome DuMonde was/is, but any disagreement will be ignored. Sorry not sorry. 1. DuMonde feat Dave 202 - Singularity 2. Anastasia - Fly To The Sky (OP meets DuMonde Mix) 3. DuMonde - Tomorrow (JamX & De Leon's Onkels Brett Mix) 4. Tom Wax - Laut & Leise (JamX & De Leon Mix) 5. Yves Deruyter - Feel Free (DuMonde Remix) 6. DuMonde & Lange - Memory (JamX & De Leon Mix) 7. DuMonde feat Santoshi - God Music 8. JamX - Sexomatic (JamX & De Leon's "DuMonde" Mix) 9. DuMonde - Never Look Back (Full On Vocal Mix) 10. Rank 1 - It's Up To You (SymSonic) (DuMonde Remix) 11. Push - Universal Nation '99 (DuMonde 12" Mix) 12. CRW - I Feel Love (DuMonde Instrumental) 13. DuMonde - See The Light (JamX & De Leon Mix) 14. DuMonde - Atmosphere 15. DuMonde - Human 16. Green Court - Follow Me (DuMonde Remix) 17. Meteor Seven - Universal Music (DuMonde Remix) 18. DuMonde feat Santoshi - Let Me Out 19. Nature One & JamX - Lost In Emotion 20. JamX feat BIA - Das Licht 21. De Leon - Fate 22. DuMonde - Can U Dig It? 23. Steve Morley - Reincarnations (DuMonde Remix) 24. Binary Finary - 1998 (DuMonde's 2000 Millenium Mix) This brings back so many memories. If you were around during the Millennium years, you must have heard these songs everywhere, like I did. They made sure their legacy remained intact, years after, and that's all down to their producing skills. Boy, these songs were awesome! I'm still enjoying their music, to this day. And some of the songs used in this mix will be on my favourite list as long as I'm alive. Come on, 'God Music', 'Tomorrow', and of course 'Can U Dig It?'. Especially the last one, that song was everywhere! It is one of the best Hard Trance songs ever made. It still packs a punch, and will keep us raving until our dying days. This mix is solid. I've got no negative feedback to give, only love and appreciation. DuMonde were, and still are, one of the finest acts in Hard Trance history. Like Scot Project. It seems that the Germans knew how to make Hard Trance, and make it well! And I miss those good old days, when you had these awesome produced records, and you couldn't live a day without listening to them. Today is such a day, and I won't stop listening to this mix either. Keep those tracks coming. • Compound Fusion 2 [Mixed By M@rt!n-J] (2026)

You don't need me to tell you that I'm a massive Freeform fan. I'm such a fan, I absorb as much as I can, on a daily basis. Be it on Soundcloud, Amazon Music, YouTube, or anywhere else. Freeform does come by at least once a day, and today's no exception. You might have been on social media, and over the last few weeks, you might have seen the announcement of Kevin Energy, a new album by this legendary Freeform producer. If you've missed it, that's OK, we are both on this journey together today! This is the second 'Compound Fusion'. The first one was released in 2022, and now he's back with a brand spanking new album. He even had a release party, which I completely missed. I would have gone, but now I'm too late. At least we've got his music, and it's all new music! A new album, new music. What else could we wish for? It's like Christmas has come early this year! And of course, our trusted source of excellent mixes (M@rt!n-J) made a mix of all the records on this album. For this album, he made a couple of the tracks on his own, and with others too, like Preacher, Afterburner, S3rl, and more. The album became more of a journey through music, and it shows Kevin Energy's capabilities clearly. The man is capable of making excellent music, be it Freeform, Hard Trance, Happy Hardcore, or UK Hardcore. He can do it all, and he's never lost his touch. Still one of the best producers out there, and his latest album does show that it is a must have one! Preacher & Kevin Energy - Lose My Mind (VIP Intro Mix) Preacher & Kevin Energy - Sands Of Time Preacher & Kevin Energy - Transcend Reality Preacher & Kevin Energy - Hallucinate Bigiblade & Kevin Energy - Due Neum Kevin Energy & Paul Hardcore - We Are Freeform (Kevin Energy Remix) Afterburner & Kevin Energy - True Power Kevin Energy - Closer Than We Know Kevin Energy - In Deep Trouble Afterburner & Kevin Energy - The Healing Power Of Music Afterburner & Kevin Energy - Illusions Of Dreams Kevin Energy & Jasmine Knight - Universal Energy Kevin Energy & Jack Rose - Breaking Down The Walls S3rl & Kevin Energy - Drop That Acid Desire & Kevin Energy - Feelings Desire & Kevin Energy - Imagination Kevin Energy & Jasmine Knight - Power Over Me Desire & Kevin Energy - Transform DJ Energy - Warped Reality (Lone Raver Remix) Wow. That's a lot of Kevin Energy! If it's too much, you are on the wrong page, and need to leave, right now! If there's never such a thing as too much K.E., you are on the right page! And let me tell you, you are amazing! Keep the Freeform alive and kicking! Kevin always had a distinctive sound, and he keeps that sound alive. But he does experiment on this album, with a bit slower, and more Trance-focussed songs. But he does go back to his roots, and does push the Freeform forward, with a bit of his own magic, his experience and knowledge, and also with a sound that resembles the current Freeform sound. The album mix is great. I really liked it a lot. Its new Freeform music, and how can I dislike it? Especially when 'Illusions Of Dreams'' is in this mix? I do truly love this record, and if this doesn't get you on the dancefloor, nothing will. What an absolute belter of a record! Kevin Energy's album is fire. Hit after hit, and a bit more experimental. The diversity is what appeals to me the most. An album you should be checking out, but maybe first listen to this mix, and then go to Kevin Energy's website, to purchase the album. You will not be disappointed. And if you don't know what Freeform is? Let the legend introduce you into this wonderful world we have embraced. The world of Freeform! • Sheffield Steel 6 (2026)

It is Monday, and it's a bank holiday in the UK. Which is very lush, and it also means I'm not doing much today. No work, just chilling. And chilling can sometimes be very exciting. The thought of doing nothing can be liberating. But you need to have some music playing, to keep you company on your quest to do absolutely nothing. And today's mix is one that has accompanied me throughout the last week, and it might be invigorating to you, if you let it. The series is called 'Sheffield Steel'. and it sounds like a podcast series that talks about the city Sheffield and its steel production, which seems to be the world's finest since the 1740s! But it's not. It's a new series on Soundcloud, made by Push Continue, and it has already reached the sixth instalment. Started roughly a year ago, it has already had some success, and now I'm on it, to see if it's a series which I could join and enjoy, and eventually share with you all. The mix you are about to listen to is filled with lovely Trance anthems. And if you enjoy this mix, you might even like the other 5 mixes in this series. Push Continue is keeping us entertained, and even though his mixes do not come with a tracklist, he was kind enough to provide me one (as it is kind of a requirement for my site), so at least you'll know what is in this sixth instalment. Ready for the tracklist? Lostly- As You Leave 3KM - Ever After Muhammed El Alami - Velvet Skies Factor B - Sacrosanct Paul Denton - Introversion Alex Morph - Eye Of The Storm Terra V - Morior Invictus Steve Dekay - Signs Db Mokk - Paper Sun DJ Dean - I Feel You Doppenberg - Meet Again Marco McNeil - Sleepless Sergey Salekhov - Atlantis It's a great mix with a lot of unknown records. Seen the names of the artists before, but not the tracks. It's great to discover 'new' music. It will certainly keep me entertained throughout today, and maybe even the rest of the week. Push Continue's mix is a very entertaining one, with a lot of Progressive Trance anthems. And as much as I like Factor B, Alex Morph, I have to give it to Steve Dekay. His 'Signs' song is really awesome, and has remained in my head for days! It's so damn annoying, it won't leave my head! But that's also a good thing, as good song remain in your head longer than crappy songs. The only thing I've noticed, and it's a minor thing, is the quality of the recording. It kind of fluctuates. I thought it was initially my home set up, but even in my car does the sound go in and out, and it feels like I'm on a boat, rocking from side to side. I cannot pin point what it is, but it's there. If you aren't bothered, it won't affect you. But besides that, it's a solid mix. Again, it's not about the city of its steel production, but it's certainly an awesome new mix series. Certainly worth a listen, and if this is your jam, you can check out Push Continue's Soundcloud channel for more! • Ferry Corsten - 20 Years Of Ferry Corsten The Mix (2012)

Ferry Corsten. Ferry freaking Corsten. A name I grew up with, and he's been around for a long time now. Longer than 20 years. Actually, the image might be misleading, as you might presume that he's only been in the game for 20 years, but the mix has been on Soundcloud for 14 years! And he's been around for even longer than that, if you were to check his Wikipedia page. Ferry has been around, and done everything imaginable. A true legend in the Trance scene, and a pioneer for many decades. And I'm a fan! I am such a fan. I can even state that I had more singles by Ferry Corsten compared to Tiesto and Armin van Buuren. And I'm not exaggerating. It is the truth. I have always had a soft spot for Ferry Corsten's music, as it appealed more to me. He seemed to make music that suited me the most. And obviously the Trance he made was superb. Sometimes slightly different, but that made it work for me. I do believe the first single I purchased (by Ferry) was 'Rock Your Body, Rock', or it could have been 'Right Of Way'. I do believe I even owned one of his albums, which is called 'L.E.F.', but it has disappeared from my collection. Must have borrowed it to someone who never gave it back. Ferry has been a stable force throughout my teens and twenties, and I've always enjoyed hearing his music. To this day, he keeps on making great music, and he still surprises me with the awesome quality of his music. He is certainly one of the greatest producers the Netherlands has ever seen. A phenomena, that's for damn sure. 01. Ferry Corsten – Feel It 02. Ferry Corsten – Check It Out 03. Ferry Corsten – Are You Ready 04. Ferry Corsten – Life (Patrick Plaice Remix) 05. System F – Out Of The Blue (Violin Edit) Wonderful! This brings back memories! And this is just a glimpse of what Ferry has done over the years, solo, under different aliases, or in groups. He could have made a mix that lasted more than an hour. Hell, it would be longer than 6 hours, maybe even 12 hours. And I would still listen to it, and it's fantastic! Serious stuff. You only realise how much of an impact an artist has on you, the second you look at their achievements. And Ferry's achievements are insane, just look at his discography! And when this mix was released, 14 years ago, he already had 20 years behind him. Today, he's 34 years in the 'scene', and still unstoppable. Can't wait for the next 'best of' mix by the legend himself. This has got great songs in it. Not all of his songs are as good as they should be. His 'House' records are less interesting to me, give me Ferry's Trance records all day, every day. Especially 'Sweet Sorrow'. Holy moly, what a record! I forgot it even existed. But now I'm reintroduced to it, and I've fallen in love yet again. You don't need much to make a record so damn dope. Amazing mix. Can't believe it took me 14 years to discover it. I need to spend more time on Soundcloud, to discover mixes like this one. I was in dire need of more Ferry Corsten music, and that massive hole has now been filled with this fantastic mix. • Masters Of Hardcore Warmup Mix 21-03-2026

It is Thursday, and it's time to get ready for a long weekend! Most of Europe have got the 1st of May off, like the Netherlands (Labour day), but in the UK we've got Monday off. I hope you will have a nice long weekend and enjoy it as much as possible. To keep you company throughout the weekend, I found this mix a couple of days ago, which was a warm up mix for Masters Of Hardcore, which was held roughly a month ago. I didn't go, unfortunately, but if you did, it would have been a great warm up mix! And before you mention the fact that I used a different 'picture' compared to the one used for this mix, the mix one was cropped. This one suits it much better. The mix was done by someone called Olli B, and I've already devoured this mix. Top fan, and as said, it's been on repeat ever since I discovered it. I've been a fan of Masters of Hardcore for a while now, but over the last couple of years, the 'new' sound just doesn't appeal to me as much as it should. And maybe the interest in MOH has peaked. Olli's mix has certain regained my faith in good quality Hardcore, that's for damn sure. The resurgence of good Hardcore music has made me happy. My social timeline is filled with Uptempo and similar sounds, and some I like, but it's too much piep and zaag sounds. Too much. And it kind of ruins it for me. Maybe the newer generation likes it, but I'm more oldschool. Bring more melodies, and no wall of bass. It all needs to embrace the style, and Hardcore deserves to be honoured. Its legacy is tremendous, and if it's done well, I will love it forever and ever. So which records did he pick for this warmup mix? Catscan & Promo - Lords Of Underground Ophidian - Sirena Neophyte & Panic - Skullcrusher (Catscan Remix) Furyan - World Of Lies Catscan - Speaker Attack Korsakoff - Full Bottled (Korsakoff PLN-B Remix) D-Fence & Chaos Project - Hardcore Bass Restrained - I Don't Follow Trends Tha Playah & Angerfist feat MC Jeff - Just Like Me (Nosferatu Remix) Miss K8 - Like An Earthquake Ophidian - The Stars DJ LX & Hellsystem - Rock Like This Hysta & Promo - Frequency (Original Mix) Arda - When Silence Breaks N-Vitral & Dither - Bass Go Boom Ophidian - Theory Of Nothing D-Fence & Alee - Tides Of Tiranny (Official Masters Of Hardcore 2026 Anthem) Nosferatu & Tha Playah - Who Needs Gods This is such a wicked tracklist, it has made my day! Obviously a tracklist isn't enough, you actually need to hear it, but once you do, you are going to be hooked! I don't think I've heard these songs before, and that makes me sad. Give me these songs any day of the week, and remove the Uptempo from my timeline please! The mix contains so many great songs, it was difficult to pinpoint one record. There are too many to choose from. Anything by Ophidian, as he's the boss. But 'I Don't Follow Trends' and 'When Silence Breaks', absolutely insane records! Bring back this sound, and push it further forward! Olli B's mix is great. Loved every second of it. And for those that went to Masters Of Hardcore, hopefully this is what you were expecting, and were given. Amazing records, and they do carry this MOH sound. I don't know how to describe it, but you can tell when a song is MOH, or maybe Thunderdome. These are so MOH. Go and jump on this, and have a splendid long weekend! • EARLY HARDCORE SET #3 (2026)

A new week is about to start, and in a few hours, the weekend is behind us. It has been a splendid weekend, with lots of sunshine, and a nice temperature. And obviously you have to do your standard chores. To keep me company during those chores, I found a mix, which is dedicated to the early Hardcore sound. And you know I am a sucker for anything early, right? The mix you are about to listen to, does contain early Hardcore anthems, so be warned: this mix might very well be too intoxicating, and you will not be able to stop listening to it. This has been on all day today! I am not kidding. I've had a feeling today, a feeling that could only be resolved by hearing those familiar songs from my youth. But not the ones you hear on a daily basis, but the more 'obscure' and underground ones. The DJ behind this mix, ROSKOTEN, selected 13 records for this half an hour long mix, and it did contain a few I've not seen or heard in a while. I was in full work mode today. And we finished it off with a lovely BBQ. A full on day, and some lovely tunes to keep me company. Loved it. The only sad thing is the length of the mix. 30 minutes, that's just not long enough. I am always craving for more early Hardcore, and 30 minutes, I need more! But maybe the length doesn't bother you, and you are happy with this short mix. See if you enjoy the tracklist: Tony Salmonelli - Hey! (Buzzy's Raggamix) Boom Terrorism - The Return Naughty Boys - Innocent Amusement (The End Mix) 4U EA - Grisia (DJ Lancinhouse Remix) El Bruto - Braingeyser Diss Reaction - Rock Dizz DJ E-Rick & Tactic - We Won't Stop Rocking (Original Mix) Bio-Forge - Turbulence Pino D'Ambini - Up & Down Ballz (Buzzy Goes BZRK Mix) Juggernaut - Pyromaniac DJ Maxx, DJ Buby, DJ Giangy - Bim Bum Bam Brian Acardy - Let Da Bass Boom DJ Promo - Kill Tha Noise The memories kept coming back! These are forgotten tracks. I do miss the time when I discovered new music, and all this music became my obsession, for days on end. I would not stop listening to albums filled with Hardcore anthems, and it would drive everyone around me mad. You aren't just a gabber for a few hours a day, you are a gabber 24/7, 52 weeks a year. You never stop listening to it, even when you are 42 years of age. Granted, my body might not be what it used to be, but I'm trying my best. I could not rave my bollocks off until the sun rises in the early hours, but I can make chores go away. ROSKOTEN's mix has certainly helped, and made the day fly by. I can look back and be happy with the achievements. Big anthems. Especially ''Up & Down Ballz'' by Pino D'Ambini. A classic many will know, but not many will put this in their top 10 of all time Hardcore anthems. I would put it in there. DJ Buzz Fuzz just dominated the 90s. A highly successful yet underrated producer. It was a close call, as I always love DJ Promo, but Buzz Fuzz just always wins with this monster hit! Again, 30 minutes is too damn short. But within those 30 minutes, he gives us a very interesting and exciting mix. Highly recommended mix, if you got a difficult week ahead. This will get you through! • Timeless Trance Classics Vol 2 (2026)

I don't know if I have listened to the first instalment, or if I've written about the first one, and if I haven't, apologies to Eddie Swales. And another thing to add, is the fact that Easter is way behind us. I'm always too bloody late. But maybe he can forgive me, by reading this review (which was written after Easter 2026 lol). It's not about when the mix was released, but what's in the mix. And what's in this mix, ladies and gentlemen, are a lot of records. A 3 hour long mix, for those who do listen to long mixes. If that's not you, that's OK. But I am one of those people, so here we go. I saw this mix on Soundcloud, saved it under my favourites, and gave it a go. This was a few days ago, and I haven't stopped listening since. I am definitely in the top 5 of most streamed listens. There's good reason for it, but also a scary reason: I feel like Eddie Swales has been inside of my head! And why am I saying this? Well, there's a lot of records in this mix I've talked about a lot over the last couple of months, and now they appear in one mix! Get out of my head, Eddie! All jokes aside, I don't mind hearing these songs in one mix. Makes it easier for me to find. No more searching, all in one mix. And it's a long one. 29 records, 3 hours. Eddie doesn't mess about. And it's also quite the diverse mix: it's got a lot of variety in it, which I also appreciate. But do you appreciate this too? Or is that just me? Moonman - Galaxia Nalin & Kane - Beachball Andain - Promises (Myon & Shane 54 Summer Of Love mix) Lange feat Sarah Howells - Out Of The Sky (Kyau & Albert Remix ) Solid Globe - North Pole Aurora - Hear You Calling Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday Maor Levi - Shapes (Oliver Smith Remix) Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Gabriel & Dresden Sweeping Strings Remix) Filterheadz - Yimanya Filo & Peri & Eric Lumiere - Anthem Midway - Monkey Forest Endre - Kallocain (Robert Nickson Remix) Above & Beyond presents Oceanlab - Sirens Of The Sea (Club Mix) Matt Hardwick vs Smith & Pledger - Day One (Above & Beyond Big Room Mix) Sean Tyas - Lift John O'Callaghan & Bryan Kearney - Exactly Giuseppe Ottaviani - Through Your Eyes Gouryella - Tenshi (Transa Remix) Mirco de Govia - Voller Sterne (Super8 Remix) FKN feat Jalala - Why (Aly & Fila Remix) Paul van Dyk - Nothing But You (Club Mix) Fred Baker & Nyram - Confirmation Above & Beyond feat Tranquility Base - Surrender Dash Berlin - Never Cry Again (Jorn van Deynhoven Remix) Alena - Turn It Around (Space Brothers Rethink) Masters & Nickson feat Justine Suissa - Out There (5th Dimension) System F - Out Of The Blue (Original Violin Edit) DJ Energy & Tatana - End Of Time (Extended Polaris Mix) Quite the list, right? It looks fantastic, and it will certainly get you off your chair, and waving your hands in the air. Eddie's selection looks and sound great. The rollercoaster of Trance he's taking us on, is one you are going to love. Emotions will hit you throughout this set. It's an interesting mix, with a lot of records I've been talking about. It's like he knew what I do like, and he's made it into a special mix, just for me. But it isn't just for me, it's for everyone who loves Trance classics, and I'm guessing you (the reader) loves it too. Thank fuck for that, otherwise you would be wasting your time, reading a review about a genre of music you do not like. That would be awkward! The tone is set from the start. That first record is such a great opening track, and record after record, it just continues. But then it reaches ''Kallocain'', which (to me), is one of the finest pieces ever made. I truly love and admire this record, and it fits in nicely. A solid record, one that is slightly underrated, but I don't care: I know this record exists, and that's all that matter. The mix isn't perfect. The recording volume goes a bit up and down every so often (you can hear it during Kallocain), and there are some small errors in it. Nothing major, but the wavy sound can be a bit disruptive. Maybe it's not Eddie's fault, maybe it's down to the software, but it is a bit disruptive. Feels like a boat going up and down on waves. Or going side to side. Still a highly recommended mix though. It's got some serious slammers in here. Is it worth your time? Oh hell yeah! And it's also downloadable. Be warned: the file size is humongous! • Grimmige Industrie #3 (Best of 2024/2025) (2026)

It is Monday, and another week has emerged. Is it going to be a good week, or not? Well, that's down to you. You can make it the best or worst week. It's all about positive mindset, and if you are currently not experiencing a positive mindset, I might be able to help you. Not physically, but more mentally. By introducing you to this mix. One I've had on my list for a few weeks now, and I've listened to this extensively, but just never found the time to actually sit down and write about. It is called ''Grimmige Industrie'' (translates to Grim industry''), and it was made by Broken Balance. It has got nothing to do with an actual industry, or about those brothers who wrote about fairy tales. It's all about Industrial music, and in this case Industrial Techno. The more rougher, tougher, yet still melodic Techno. And that's the kind of Techno I love a lot. Yes, the harder and rougher can also be appreciated by yours truly, or the older, more rave-ish Techno, or even the more minimalistic Techno. But the Industrial Techno will win, always. Broken Balance took records from 2024 and 2025 and made an exquisite mix. I've had this mix on repeat during the weekend, and I'm glad I had it on: it gave me so much energy, I was an unstoppable force. It was only doing the standard chores, but still , you need that bit of energy to keep you going. And this mix accompanied me during the weekend chores. But what's in this mix? What's so good about this mix? 01. [KRTM] - Choke 02. Ghost In The Machine - Flame Grilled 03. Perc - Loose Fit (Scalameriya Remix) 04. Seven Synths - Homage 05. Ansome - Knucklehead 06. RYX - World Full Of Lies 49. New Frames - Staub (Kobosil Glut Mix) 50. Obscure Shape - DROP IT LIKE A BASS Onlynumbers feat Lucie Hart - Euphoric Night This was an amazing journey. Broken Balance did do a magnificent job, and those 2 hours and 43 minutes do fly by. It made the chore go by quicker, and I'm not kidding: my neighbours must have thought I was on some kind of drug: the garden was finished in no time! But if they want someone to blame, blame Broken Balance, and not me. The mix is really solid, and has reignited the spark within me. More of this please. And it turns out that the last 2 years were great for Industrial Techno. But I've got a lot to catch upon, as most of the artists are unknown to me, and these songs I've not encountered before. Thanks to this mix, I now had the opportunity to witness what I've been missing. It's a solid mix. To my knowledge, it's Broken Balance's finest mix to date. And it ends with a serious slammer, which I truly love. All 51 records are insane, but I have to give 'Euphoric Night' and 'Bodyhost' all the credit. Two insane records I gladly listen to, over and over. If this doesn't give you the energy you need, nothing will. Or it could be that you do not like Techno, in which case, that's fine too. But if you love Techno, I strongly suggest you give this mix a go. It will keep you going for a long time! • Back By Dope Demand Vol 1 [Old Skool Mix] DJ's Butty & Recca (2021)

Let's go back in time, back to the old skool. And let's not pretend you do not like the old skool music, as everyone does. There's not a single human being on Earth who does not like the early stuff. We all crave for it on a daily basis, and today's no exception. And today I will share with you a mix I came across on Soundcloud, by accident. It's been on my list for a few days, to give it a listen, and today is the day I'm checking out DJ Butty & Recca's mix. And as expected, it's a nice old skool mix. Let's 'ave it! There's a few mixes on their Soundcloud channel, if you are interested in the Old Skool. But they've been a tad quiet. Their last mix was uploaded 2 years ago. They are still active, but I've not heard of them before. I spend a lot of time online, and yet I've never seen or heard the name Butty and Recca before. Should I have done? Maybe, but there are still so many unknown DJs out there, whom I'll never discover, because there's only 24 hours in a day, not 100 hours. I clicked on this mix as the title reminded me of 'King Bee', and it was the first track in this mix. I quickly gave the tracklist a glance, and I wasn't displeased. As I do love the early dance stuff, I have listened to a lot over the years, but there's still so much music out there I've not heard of before, and this mix does contain a few records I've not encountered before. All new and exciting! King Bee - Back By Dope Demand Hyper Go Go - Never Let Go Soft House Co - What You Need Gat Decor vs Degrees Of Motion - Passion 94 Disco Bros present Nu-Luv - Do It Brothers In Rhythm - Such A Good Feeling Johnny Parker - Love It Forever Debbie Malone - Rescue Me Emily Heyl - Kiss My Piano Young MC - Know How Jinny - Keep Warm K Klass - Rhythm Is A Mystery Fargetta - Music (Music Beat Remix) DJ Pierre - Everyday L.A.N. - Get Into My Life Def La Desh - Tear It Up Chris & James - Calm Down Insane tracklist. I looked at it, and only a handful of names are known to me. Most of those names I've not heard or seen before, and to be completely honest, most of these songs I might have heard a few decades ago, but as they don't get enough air time, they're largely forgotten. Thanks to mixes such as this one, are they brought back to life again. I really enjoyed this mix. It might be an 'old' one, but it is still fresh, and the tunes are really cool. It's like a time capsule, a quick glimpse on how awesome music was back in the day. Not everything worked, like 'Calm Down' and 'Music' (the original is just too damn good). But when you hear songs like 'What You Need', you know shit is about to go down! Move out of my way, I'm on the dancefloor! Butty & Recca made a splendid mix, and the hour goes by fairly quickly. I'm now invested in the early/Old Skool sound, and I want more. Thankfully, on their Soundcloud page, there are enough mixes to get me through the week, and I would urge you to do the same! You will not be disappointed. • Sunday Morning Uplift 2 (2026)

I am fully aware of which day of the week it is, and it is certainly not Sunday. I hope that doesn't defeat the purpose of this review, nor when you can listen to the mix by Baggie. It is Monday, a new week has started, and I'm already looking forward to the upcoming weekend. Still a few days ahead of us, and maybe to get us ready for the Sunday coming, and whatever you've got planned for that day, this mix might be the right one for you. I would not normally say this, but bring on Sunday! Obviously you can listen to this on any given day. But I actually started this yesterday, so it was the mix for me last Sunday. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but as I was too focussed on a PS5 game, I had no time nor energy to write a review. Today I do have the time, energy, and the patience too, so let's dive straight into this mix. Made by Baggie, and it contains 15 uplifting Trance anthems. And it seems that I'm riding this Trance wave lately. I don't know why that is, but I am mostly reviewing Trance mixes. Does that make me happy? Of course it does. Does this mix make me happy? Well, you will only find out if you continue reading this, and see the score at the bottom of this review. But for now, let's focus on the records... Ilan Bluestone & HALIENE - Eclipsed By You Ronski Speed - Rendezvous Ralphie B - Fury (Photographer Remix) Marnix Mulder - Effosia Adam Nubar - Nico Nick The Kid & Name Is Critical - Shadow Caster Lange & Emma Hewitt - Live Forever (Asteroid Remix) Pulse Gate & Ashley Wallbridge - Brave Amos & Riot Night & 0Gravity - Together We Are Paul Courbet - Maya Bay Ehren Stowers - Skyline Joseph James - Fly Away BiXX - Yes I Can (Mark Sherry Remix) Jesita & LinMou - Dawn Light Iain M - Unbelievable Wow. A mix with tracks I've never heard of. That's insane. There's also a few artists I've not heard or seen before. And that makes it more interesting. If you are like me, you will certainly like this. Going in blind, going into the unknown, unprepared. And I came out a much happier human being. The mix is great, and the songs are too. Very euphoric, very uplifting. And yes, it might not be a Sunday, but trust me when I say, you should listen to this mix whenever you want to. I really liked this mix, and the flow was very good. Especially when ''Yes I Can'' hits. That's when it all goes bonkers. What a monster anthem. Not heard it before, but it's on my list. Baggie made a very solid mix, and this being the second mix in this series, I might search the first one. Who knows, it might even be better than this one? • Trance Classics Reworked 005 (2026)

The weekend has arrived, and even though it was nice and sunny during the week, it is now bleak and dreary. The Sun has disappeared, and it's grey. overcast, and raining. From 23 degrees Celsius to 5 degrees today, the weather has changed. So I'm not feeling very summer-ish nor do I feel the weather is contributing to this feeling. In fact, it is making it worst. Let's go straight to our trusted source of music (Soundcloud), and see if there's anything there that could lift our spirits up, and maybe increase the temperatures... And I found something to listen to, of course. Andresen, a channel I've been following for a while, has uploaded a new mix a few days ago, focussed on Trance classics, but with a twist. They've been reworked/remixed, Not the first time I've heard one of his mixes, and I'm quite fond of these reworked/remixed versions of classic anthems. And I know you are too, as you are reading this. You are also eager for me to provide you with some form of heat, and in this case, it is through some awesome anthems. If you know your classics, you will certainly know these songs used by Andresen for this fifth edition of this series. I hope this series goes on for a while, as I'm invested in each of the mixes in this series, and they keep on getting better and better. And the fifth one is no joke: it's been my go-to mix over the last few days. I have become obsessed by it, as the songs are absolutely awesome! Orkidea - Unity (Solarstone Pure Mix) Susana - Dark Side Of The Moon (Ferry Tayle Extended Mix) Mesh x Dan Stone - Purple Haze (Extended Mix) Fictivision vs C-Quence - Symbols (Mirage Extended Remix ) Chakra - Love Shines Through (Sean Tyas Extended Ascension Remix) Solarstone - Seven Cities (Ferry Tayle Extended Remix) Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams (Sean Tyas Extended Ascension Remix) Rank 1 feat Shanokee - Such Is Life (XiJaro & Pitch Extended Remix) Midway - Inca (Asteroid Extended Remix) St. John vs Locust - Mind Circles (Steve Allen Extended Remix) Andain - Summer Calling (Casey Rasch Remix) Insigma - Open Your Eyes (Asteroid Extended Remix) Solarstone vs Scott Bond - 3rd Earth (Scott Bond & Charlie Walker REBOOTED Mix) Paul Oakenfold - Cafe Del Mar (Peetu S Extended Remix) Binary Finary - 1998 (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix) Yves Deruyter - The Rebel (40 Years Yves Deruyter Rework) Where does Andresen find these records? I do know the originals, but these versions are so damn dope. How does he find these? They are absolutely gorgeous to listen to. The journey is nearly 2 hours long, but it is such a pleasant journey. I cannot fault Andresen for anything but a great mix. Each track is awesome, and make this fifth edition a very memorable one. Before you know it, the mix has finished, and you want to hear it again. Well, that's just me. So many great records, but the two remixed songs by Asteroid, they are fabulous. ''Inca'' and ''Open Your Eyes''. Pure dancefloor slammers, and to me they are the greatest records in this mix. The 14 others are great too, but it seems that Asteroid's songs are most outstanding and just what I wanted to hear, compared to the others. It's yet another amazing mix. Have a listen to this, and while you are at it, why not check out the other mixes in this series? Trust me, you will thank me later. But don't thank me, thank Andresen for this awesome series. • Pengo Records Tribute @ 90s Hard Compilation 050426

Pengo Records, who remembers this label? A label I grew up with, but only lived a short life. Only active for 2 years, but within those 2 years, it certainly left a legacy behind. It was at the height of Happy Hardcore, and they released some of the biggest songs out of the 90s. You will know which ones I'm talking about when you look down at the tracklist. But it was certainly a very influential label, and I'm not sure why it seized to exist. It came and went. Maybe the penguin went into hibernation, and maybe one day it will come back? I do love myself a bit of cheese. Not too cheesy, like the labels final release (4 Tune Fairytales - Ding A Dong). But nice cheese, well matured. And this set has got a lot of cheese, but we have to admit that these songs can be considered a guilty pleasure, as we know, love, and admire them all. Or you can just come out of the gate storming, like me, and state that Happy Hardcore was (and still is) awesome. The Finnishing Dutch uploaded this set a day ago, which was recorded at an event he played at. I don't know the ins- and outs, so I'm only going to judge it, based upon the mix he provided. And his set, and you'll never guess it, is focussed on Pengo Records. He only played for half an hour, but within those 30 minutes, he played 13 records. And those records immediately take you back to the 90s. A proper cheese fest, maybe. But it is worth listening to these records from one of the most prolific, if less slightly underrated label of our Hardcore history. 3 Steps Ahead - Drop It Critical Mass - Believe In The Future (DJ Weirdo & DJ Sim Future Remix) Bertocucci Feranzano - XTC Love DJ Waxweazle - Come With Me (Critical Mass & DJ Waxweazle Mix) The Beatsquad - Roll The Drum 4 Tune Fairytales - Take Me 2 Wonderland (DJ Jordens Point 44 Remix) Wonderland - Fantasy Of Love (DJ Skorp & Lady Dana Remix) Critical Mass - Burnin Love (DJ Weirdo & DJ Sim 173.683 Remix) 4 Tune Fairytales - My Little Fantasy (Bass-D & King Matthew Remix) The Prophet - Big Boys Don't Cry (4 Minute Mix) DJ Weirdo & DJ Sim - Go Get Busy (Hardcore Edit) 3 Steps Ahead - Money In My Pocket Critical Mass - Happy Generation (Buzz Fuzz Mix) I feel like a teenager again! The memories do keep on coming, and I remember all these songs! And I did rave my ass off with these being played on my headphones. They were the cheapest ones imageable, but that didn't matter: as long as it had bass, I was a happy bunny. Christ, the label did have so many big songs. Where would we be without Pengo Records? Correct, a less interesting Happy Hardcore scene. Come on, how can we ignore the importance of Critical Mass? What about DJ Weirdo & DJ Sim? Or even 3 Steps Ahead. And this mix contains a few of the biggest anthems of all time: ''Drop It'', ''Go Get Busy'', but my favourite, and it's highly controversial (I believe): The Beatsquad's ''Roll The Drum'' is a much better track compared to the previous two. Oh, and also 'My Little Fantasy'' is a big track. Or what about ''Money In My Pocket''? Or ''Big Boys Don't Cry''? Fuck, there's too much to choose from. The Finnishing Dutch's set was short, but very awesome. It's got some tiny mixing errors, but nothing too dramatic. The only wish, which is obviously beyond his control, was that this set would be longer. An hour, at a minimum. As I'm missing a few other records from the label, it would have been a great hour long set with more records. Enjoy it. And let's remember the penguin. It's not death, just sleeping. Since 1997.... OK, final bit: ''Fantasy Of Love''. Not a great record, and this song is just 'meh'. Sorry. • LOST & FOUND_BOX 1-3 [2007-2009] (2026)

Happy Easter! Hope you have a good amount of Easter eggs today. A lot of food will be devoured today. Always an excuse to eat a lot, right? It's all about absorption, and let me give you something to absorb. A new mix series on Silvio Aquila's Soundcloud channel. If you haven't noticed yet, the title of the series is 'Lost & Found'. It is split into three mixes, all between 30 and 40 minutes long. Normally I would only review ONE mix, but today I am feeling generous, and I will be discussed these three mixes combined! So, three mixes. The premise behind these mixes is that it contains largely forgotten records, and slightly underrated records from the good ol' days. And you know I am a sucker for these records. As much as I prefer to hear mixes with the most well known Hardstyle anthems from back in the day, to hear something slightly different always makes me a bit curious. Why were these records forgotten? Is there a logic reason behind it? Or is it because of the plethora of excellent tunes out there, and some just have to suffer, and go into the abyss of forgotten gems? It's a nice selection of records, and truth be told, I have not heard them in a very long time. Maybe even a few decades. And some have been underrated since day one, and I've not heard them before, as they have not appeared on many compilations and or in mixes. But thanks to Silvio, he gives us exactly what we did not know we needed, but come to think about it, we are in dire need of these mixes. Relive those golden days, and give those forgotten gems the proper respect they deserve. LOST & FOUND _ BOX 1 - [2007] Noisecontrollers - Improve Josh & Wesz presents Chickz On Fire - Smokin' Alphaverb - Freak Out! The Pitcher - Control Southstylers - Pwoap! (Scope DJ Ruff Mix) Abject - In Our Memories The Prophet - Outburst (Defqon 2007 Laser Track) CTU - Hardstyle Resurrection A-Lusion - Talk Iz The Rmx (Kat Aholik Mix) Zany - Inflator LOST & FOUND_BOX 2 - [2011] Headhunterz & Abject - Scantraxx Rootz (Frontliner 2011 Reverzed Bass Edit) Donkey Rollers - Hardstyle Rockers (Neilio Remix) The Machine - Times Like These Noisecontrollers & MC Renegade - Ready 2 Go Anagentic - Takin' Down Digital Punk feat Profyler - Intoxication (Waverider Remix) Vamper - Light 0 Brennan Heart - ID (Electronic Vibes Remix) Zatox - Stand Up x Headwave (Qlimax Remake) Kutski vs TNT - Sucksess LOST & FOUND_BOX 3 - [2009] Nagoom - Hardstyle Life Kutski vs Bioweapon - One Frontliner feat MC Da Syndrome - Muzyk DJ Vortex feat Da Rook MC - Bassdrum (Low-E Remix) Josh & Wesz - Fucking Posers Dozer - Hawk Zenith vs Avex - Pussy Eaters Wasted Penguinz - We Live For The Day The Nasty Boyz - We Are Still Awake (2 Best Enemies Remix) Showtek - Laa-Di-Fucking- Daa Silvio is correct, you don't hear or see these songs that often. It's nice to see them back in the 'wild' again, being played and appreciated by those who knew the songs, or a new generation who are to explore the early sound even more. Each mix has got some amazing records. And obviously I have to give you now three answers: The Prophet - Outburst (Defqon 2007 Laser Track) Vamper - Light 0 Frontliner feat MC Da Syndrome - Muzyk This is my list, what about yours? Which one of each mix do you choose? Obviously this is down to personal preference, and not every track in here deserve to be brought back to life, some are OK to be hidden forever (most of Showtek's records can be hidden forever, imho). But, let's look at the premise of this mix: bring back the forgotten, the lost and found records. And we should celebrate that we have got an extensive history, when it comes to Hardstyle. I hope Silvio will make more, and this isn't just a 'one-off' series. More of these, pretty please! • Tiësto - Live @ The Great Pyramids of Giza [PRISMATIC], Egypt - 2025-12-19

Today is a very good day. Not only is it a national holiday, but it is also the day which is special to me and my wife. 17 years together, and still going strong. She made it even more special, by presenting me with tickets to see Tiësto in London in July of this year. Which is super awesome and very wholesome, and I thank her for that. Not seen him for years, nay, decades. I remember seeing him at Innercity 2000, and then nothing. But yet, he's been an influential figure when I truly devoured all my precious time during the early 2000s, listening to Trance. He's a very important figure, and he's doing this gig. I couldn't say no, could I? Obviously Tiësto is a worldwide phenomena. And he's been there, and done a lot. What I didn't know he did, was a set at the pyramids of Giza. That's just phenomenal. One of the wonders of the world, and Tiësto being there. Not just to do some sightseeing, but to perform in front of the pyramids. Not sure if it's been done before, but it is certainly something you can add to your CV, which will make it look spectacular. To get myself in the Tiësto zone, I watched that set with the wife, and we both are in awe. Those who were there, in December of last year, must have had a splendid time. Obviously Tiësto is more focussed on the EDM side of things, but still sticks to the early Trance, which made him a global superstar. And yes, I call him a superstar. He's such a figure in dance music, you cannot hide the fact that he's probably one of the greatest DJs who has ever walked this Earth. And it has also financially helped him, being one of the greatest. In the game for this long, and still being relevant. Not many can say that. But was his set relevant enough for me? 01. Daniel Lopatin - I Love You, Tokyo (Tiësto Rework) This is a great looking tracklist. 3 hours of Tiësto , certainly long enough to put a smile on your face. And even though I would still prefer his sound from 20+ years ago, I do kind of like this. It still gets me going, and in July I will be dancing the night away. This wasn't the only set we watched. Tiësto has got some of his sets on YouTube, and they are worth listening to. Or watching, whatever you prefer. Some sets are a bit 'meh' and not fast paced, but his set at the pyramids is just the right speed. A bit more progressive and less remix-y, and I'm on board. So many people have watched the video and loved it, and it is making me happier than ever. I'm actually going to see Tiësto in a few months, and hopefully he will bring the heat! We need more of Tiësto, now more than ever! I was considering either Tiësto or Armin van Buuren or Above & Beyond. I'm in a Trance mood now. But I have to settle with Tiësto, thanks to my wife! A great set. Some remixes and refixes are OK, but can never top the originals. But thankfully he's got 'Adagio For Strings'. It will remain a classic for as long as we are alive. Ferry Corsten's version is also great, but in this set, it is the best record, by a mile. I cannot wait. Jealous of those who saw him at the pyramids, but I'm getting the opportunity to see him, next to the Thames. Let's pray to any God for good weather!!!! • Thunderdome 2025 | Starving Insect

I have to give credit to the artist who goes by the name 'Starving Insect'. I've been a raver since 1993 and a reviewer for at least 15 years, yet I've never encountered someone with such a distinctive name, and a rather unusual one. And one you might not associate with the rave scene. It is so unusual, but that makes it more interesting. I've not seen or heard the name before: only a couple of weeks ago did I see a video in which I saw both Starving Insect and Catscan's latest collaboration. And now there is a Thunderdome 2025 set out there. That's magic! Starving Insect played at last year's Thunderdome, in the Dark Dome, among other big names such as Armageddon Project, Somniac One, N-Vitral, Manu Le Malin, Ophidian, and Dolphin. He actually opened the area, and for an hour and a half, he made sure that people became aware of his capabilities, and how good his music is. And as he's into the darker side of Hardcore, I can profusely state that I'm a fan. A fan of the darker arts, the more edgier Hardcore. I cannot say it enough: I do love the more darker Hardcore. Growing up, listening to the likes of Miro, Armageddon Project, Marc Acardipane, Catscan The Outside Agency and more. My love for this started back in 1998, and has still remained with me to this day. And hearing a new artist coming into the scene, and totally destroying it, that just makes my day even better. And his Thunderdome set is certainly one you need to listen to. Minimum Syndicate - Signal From Vortex Starving Insect - Sleep Is Death Starving Insect - 5,000 Years After The Pill Mental Fear Productions - Seventh Circle (Violence) Satan Grewzell - Mutiny Starving Insect - Strange Is The Night Where Black Stars Rise Starving Insect - Nothing But Nothingness Starving Insect - That Ought To Crawl Starving Insect - Cancelled Skies E-Man - E-Machine Starving Insect - The Blind Idiot God Omnicide - Drowning In The Mainstream Tripped - Birds Aren't Real (Starving Insect Remix) Starving Insect - The Spinning Blackness Starving Insect - The Spike Fields Fifth Era vs Face Hoover - My Eyes Starving Insect - The Void Dreamer Nightshift - Slaughterhouse RaBBeAT - Bankai (Starving Insect Remix) E-Man - Under My Command (Starving Insect Remix) Face Hoover - Voices Catscan & Starving Insect - The Creeper [Unfinished Version] Demanufacturer - Watch (Dark Matters Anthem 2024) The Relic - Biomechanoid (Starving Insect Remix) Starving Insect & Miyuki Omura - Aku Sonomono Endymion & D'Spyre - Original Sin Catscan & Starving insect - The Rainmaker Starving Insect - The Sea Of Darkness Starving Insect & Miyuki Omura - Hausu (Hardcore Version) Starving Insect & Killbourne - Alligator Catscan & Starving Insect - The Plaguemaker Despairful Tomorrow - And Hell Hollowed [Unreleased 2025 Refix] This is an amazing looking tracklist. For an artist I've never heard of before, he certainly has got a lot of own productions, and he gladly showed them all at last year's Thunderdome, for good reasons of course. So far, all the comments have been extremely positive, and I have to concur. It's a fucking fantastic set. I do sense a lot of his music was being influenced by other, well established names. A lot of late 90s producers such as Marc Acardipane and Miro, but I do also hear a bit of Promo and Catscan in here. Or is that just my imagination? But he gives it his own spin, and make them sound slightly different. I do love all the songs in his set, and Starving Insect (the name still makes me chuckle), he has done an amazing job. The crowd were loving it, and he certainly left a mark. This is an act you should see. One maybe for the main stage? Who knows, only time will tell. All jokes aside, the darker sound is amazing, and it's nice to hear the 90s sound is still being pushed through our eardrums. I'm loving it, and I'm a fan, mr Starving Insect. More of this, please. Bring the darkness. And more of tracks like 'Bankai'. Dope ass track. Ps. the titles of his records are kind of dark themselves. LOVE IT! • Trancefamilynorth Trance Classics (2023)

The weekend is now officially behind us, time to focus on yet another week. Another working week, in which we need something to keep us going. And today's mix is one I've found by accident, which has been on Soundcloud for 3 years, and has been hidden away from any plays. A four and a half hour long mix, by Trancefamilynorth (that's a mouth full!). If you want to have something to get you through today, just press play, and let this mix guide you. Unless you do not like Trance. That's a whole different story, of course. But let's not dive into that, as we do not have the time to discuss why Trance is awesome, and why someone would dislike it. Today it is all about Trance music, and this forgotten mix. As I know nothing about who made it, nor do I know anything about Trancefamilynorth. Is it North, as in North of England, or North, as maybe the Scandinavian countries, or even further up North? The North Pole? Are there any fans on the North Pole who love Trance? I would not be able to share that bit of information with you. I do love Trance classics, and the reason why I decided to give this mix a go, was because of the tracklist. It is insane how many awesome records are in here. And I do mean a lot! Whoever made this mix, spent a lot of time gathering a whole host of excellent records, and turned it into this 4 1/2 hour long mix. You would agree with me, if you scroll down this page slightly, and have a quick look at the tracklist. It's insane, all these records. They are gorgeous! Paul van Dyk - Santos (Original Mix) Armin - Communication (12'' Mix) Ronski Speed feat Ana - The Deep Devine (Gareth Emery Remix) Ferry Corsten & Trance Unity - Free (Extended Mix) Bedrock - Heaven Scent (Original Mix) BT - Mercury & Solace (BT's 12 Inch Mastermix) Alex M.O.R.P.H. feat Ana Criado - Sunset Boulevard (Original Mix) Above & Beyond feat Zoe Johnston - Love Is Not Enough (Above & Beyond Club Mix) Paul Oakenfold & Alexander Popov - Angel (Extended Mix) Tiesto - Adagio For Strings (Blasterjaxx Remix) 4 Strings - Soulmate (Extended Mix) HALIENE - Glass Heart (Original Mix) Ronski Speed feat Renee Stahl - Out Of Control (Dennis Sheperd Remix) Paul van Dyk feat Hemstock & Jennings - Nothing But You (Faithless Remix) Ferry Corsten & Betsie Larkin - Made Of Love (Extended Mix) Starkillers, Paul van Dyk, Austin Leeds feat Ashley Tomberlin - New York City (Cream Ibiza Nights Mix) Jurgen de Vries - The Theme (Binary Finary Remix) Tony De Vit - Give Me A Reason (Nicholson Remix) Armin van Buuren & BT - These Silent Hearts (Protoculture Extended Remix) Ayla - Angel Falls (Elemental Force Remix) Paul van Dyk - The Love From Above (Original Mix) Susana - Dark Side Of The Moon (Ferry Tayle's Extended Mix) Gaia - Tuvan (Andy Blueman Remix) Yahel & Liya - Creatures (Paul Oakenfold Remix) Danny Legatto & Uniray Trancemarker - Heaven Tears (Danny Legatto Edit) Paul van Dyk - Tell Me Why (The Riddle) (Vandit Mix) HALIENE & MaRLo - Say Hello (Darren Porter Remix) Ram - RAMsterdam (Jorn van Deynhoven Remix) Paul van Dyk & Plumb - I Don't Deserve You (John O'Callaghan Remix Edit) Signum - Push Through (Extended Mix) Paul van Dyk - A World Full Of DJs (Original Mix) Veracocha - Carte Blanche (Extended Mix) Aly & Fila feat Plumb - Somebody Loves You (Extended Mix) Paul van Dyk - Out There And Back (Original Mix) Paul van Dyk - 45 RPM (Original Mix) Paul van Dyk - Spannung (Tension) (Original Mix) Binary Finary - 1998 (Paul van Dyk Extended Remix) Kaimo K, Susanne Teutenberg & 4 Strings - Diving (Extended Mix) Scotty & Miss Rogue - Castles In The Sky (The Atmosphere Trance Extended) The Thrillseekers feat Sheryl Deane - Synaesthesia (Fly Away) (Paul van Dyk Club Mix) Chicane - Autumn Tactics (The Thrillseekers Club Mix) Ayla - Ayla (Veracocha Remix) Cold Blue - Ocean Breeze (Original Mix) Above & Beyond presents Tranquillity Base - Surrender (Original Mix) Paul van Dyk & Plumb - Music Rescues Me (PvD Club Mix) Paul van Dyk & Roger Sanchez feat Daphne Khoo - Louder (Remixes) (Ben Nicky Remix) Joint Operations Centre - Gizmo (Extended Mix) Lost Tribe - Gamemaster (Mark Sherry's 2008 Outburst Mix) System F - Out Of The Blue (Mauro Picotto Remix) Lange feat Skye - Drifting Away (Hiver & Hammer Remix) John O'Callaghan feat Audrey Gallagher - Big Sky (Angelli & Nelson Extended Remix) BT - Flaming June (Paul van Dyk Remix) Paul van Dyk - Home (PvD Extended Mix) This is certainly an amazing looking tracklist. So many big anthems in here. And even though the length of the mix might look daunting, it will flow by before your eyes. Initially, I thought this was a Paul van Dyk appreciation mix. A lot of his songs are in here. But he has certainly been an influential figure in the Trance scene, and he had made a lot of awesome Trance anthems. But it isn't, and it is just the volume of PvD tracks which stood out. But it's 'just' a generic classic Trance mix. The tracks are awesome. There are two that stand out for me. 'Push Through' is just beautiful, and 'Tuvan' is also extremely beautiful. But you might find other songs more beautiful, and that's cool. But these two do it the most for me. They are (for me) the pinnacle of Trance music. Gorgeous anthems, that's for sure. But the mix itself isn't perfect. The reverb effect has been used too many times, and also it doesn't run smoothly. The tracks are as solid as you would expect, but the mix sometimes doesn't flow as natural as you would expect it to be. Which is a bit of a let down, as this could have been an epic one. As much as I wanted it to be perfect, it isn't, which is unfortunate. There is a lot of potential behind this mix, and if you ignore the little mistakes and the overuse of the reverb effect, you might like this mix a lot. Remember, the records used for this mix, credit for using these 53 records! It is a shame that the actual mixing element wasn't flawless. • VWAB 2026 - j0ahz

Vroeger Was Alles Beter. Things used to be better. That's certainly true. Not everything was better. Where would we be without the internet? Mobile phones? Satellite navigation? We would be lost, and satnavs do make journeys safer: no more huge map on your lap, trying to read it whilst driving. It certainly has its disadvantages, but when it comes to music, there are no disadvantages. It used to be better, that's oh so true. And I often reminisce, to the good old days. And I'm thankfully not the only one! There's an event fully dedicated to this, and it is called 'VWAB'. They had a fantastic rise to fame, with this concept, and this year's line-up looks tremendously good. And unfortunately I cannot go. But if you are, and you want to hear a mix that contains records from the good ol' days, you might want to give this mix a go. It does contain some very fine Hardstyle records, like they used to make them. They still sound ace, but that's just my own opinion. jOahz made this mix, and it does indeed contain some amazing records. But that only applies to people who appreciate Hardstyle. If it isn't for you, this mix isn't for you either. You might want to reconsider, and check out other mixes on this website. But if you are like me, a Hardstyle fan from day one, you will certainly appreciate what jOahz has done, and which records he has selected! 01. Scope DJ - Lockdown 02. E-Force - Seven This is a very nice mix to listen to on a Monday. It has given me enough energy to get me through the week. And it might do the same for you? Just turn up the volume and let the music speak for itself. And it does speak. It speaks volumes. It used to be much better, back in the days. It doesn't necessarily mean the 90s or before, but compared to the current sound. And obviously the sound has changed, to suit the current atmosphere within the scene. But give me this any day. But not 'Frozen'. I truly dislike this record. I know it's a crowd pleaser, but it's a song I use to go to the toilet, or to the bar to get a drink. Not a fan of this horrendous version, the original is better. The track before 'Frozen', now that's a different story. What a blinding track. I only knew of Headhunterz's version of it, but this one is way better. The original is cool, but Rebourne's version is just next level shit! Fucking love this track. I feel euphoric now, and need more of this. It's a nice mix, as said. Some small errors, but nothing major. The only major thing being 'Frozen'. But that's just my personal opinion. What are your views on this mix? You love how it used to sound like, or is that too 'boring' for you? Was vroeger alles beter, of toch niet? • 'Fresh from the Vault' Vol. 2 - 90s/00s Trance 🎵▶️🔊 (2026)

Another day at home, another day of finding a new Soundcloud channel we all should be embracing. This time, the channel is called Coldwired Podcast. Not heard or seen this channel before, but it was only yesterday I spotted a mix which was released 3 days ago. One that contains Trance from the 90s and 00s. And you cannot go wrong with that, can you? Unless you mess it up royally, but that doesn't happen that often. And I can confirm that it certainly isn't the case with this channel's latest mix. Trance and Progressive. Two words I can fully stand by. I do love myself a bit of Trance and Progressive, as you can tell, looking at the amount of Trance reviews released over the last 15 years or so on this website. And as long as there are fans out there of 90s and 00s Trance music, I will not stop. I will certainly love it until the day I die. Won't work the day after, as I will be dead. The mix I've found on Soundcloud, is roughly an hour and a half long, and contains 16 records. And it will get you through the upcoming week, as the tracks are really good. But hopefully not taken out of a vault, as these tracks should not be hidden away from the public, but played every day until our ears bleed. Maybe it's not a literal vault, but a hypothetical vault. Or a Fallout vault? Who knows. I digress. Let's focus on the music. And it's a great tracklist, that's for sure! Cloudy, miserable, and I do believe it's raining (not been outside, because why would I?). Perfect staying indoors weather, and this mix is suitable for today's weather. Turn up the volume, and let the music be your guide toward the next working week! A splendid mix with some big hitters. DJ Nick Clark, who is behind the Coldwired Podcast, has made a very interesting mix. The selection is really great. The only thing I wonder about, is the last track. As much as I am a DnB/Jungle fan, this track does not suit this mix. It's weird and quirky to have it as last track, and maybe that's his signature. but besides that last track, it's a brilliant mix. Especially when ''Tranceformation'' hits. And ''Sunset''. Still two amazing records which have stood the test of time, and are now classic anthems. But ''Tranceformation'' just hits, and is on another level. What a fantastic track. Again, not sure about the last track. I do love it. But it doesn't suit this mix. Besides that, it's a splendid mix, which I will cherish and play over and over this week. I might just even search for the first instalment of this series. Who knows, it could even be a better mix? • Bouncy Hardcore Classics 94-98 - Vinyl Only Mix (2026)

What a lovely day today is. Double digits, when it comes to the temperature. Sun is out, house is tidy, and garden has been cut for the first time of the year. And the first few sneezes of the year due to the bloody pollen. Yep, today is a good day. And also the first day of the year in which shorts have come out of the wardrobe and and on right now. It's a great day, and let's keep it great that way. Let's put smiles on people's faces, and I think I've got the perfect mix for you all. Do you love Bouncy Hardcore from 1994 to 1998? Look no further. I certainly won't. I grew up during those glorious years, and I remember most of it, like it was only yesterday. Too young to actually go out and rave, but not too young to not understand the importance of the music. And boy, did I listen to Hardcore during those years? Well I pose a counter question to that: does a bear shit in the woods? OF COURSE did I listen to this. Are you freaking mad? And you might call this Bouncy Hardcore, I like to call it Happy Hardcore. No shame in loving Happy Hardcore. If you do not, how can we even be friends? The mix, by Colin Bell (obviously), contains a shit ton of excellent tunes I've not heard in a while. You've got to remember: what I was listening to, was mainly Dutch and/or European Hardcore, not so much UK Hardcore. That came later. Let's take a trip down memory lane. You care to join me? 1. Generation - Feel The Hype 2. Q-Tex - Can’t Get Enough 3. Scott Brown - Live Your Life 4. Scott Brown - Detonated 5. Scott Brown - Electroid 6. Q-Tex - E-Creation (95 Mix) 7. Bass Reaction - Technophobia (G.Y.T.O.F.T.B. Remix) 8. Scott Brown - Dum Dooby Dum 9. Bass X - Hardcore Creators 10. Lord Of Hardcore - Work That Sukka! (Bass Control Mix) 11. Hardcorps - Jack’s Box 12. Trance 4 Motion - Here We Go (Gordon Tennant Mix) 13. Gordon Tennant & DJ Huddy - Trauma (Rock Your Body) 14. DJ Intense - U Got Me Up 15. The Dreammasters - Jump & Shout 16. Water Pistol - Squirt 17. Go Mental - Jump To This 18. Supreme & UFO - Paradise 19. DJ Magical - Rush Hour 20. Mixmatt & DJ Magical - Hold On To Your Heart 21. Brisk & Trixxy - Eyeopener 22. Seb - Rainbow Islands (Sharkey’s Bonkers Mix) 23. Billy ‘ Daniel ’ Bunter & D-Zyne - Outside World 24. Adem - Saviour 25. Silk Cuts 4 - Belissima 26. Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo - Party (Remix) 27. Ramirez - Baronda (Instrumental Mix) 28. Rexanthony - Capturing Matrix (Trancegression Mix) 29. Dune - Can’t Stop Raving (12” Mix) 30. Highlander - Hold Me Now (Bass D & King Matthew Remix) At first, I thought it was a Scott Brown appreciation mix. The amount of his records in this mix is insane, but truth be told: he did dominate the 90s. All jokes aside, this mix has been received very well, and I have to agree with all those who already listened to this mix. It is dope, A trip back in time, to when music was everything. And it's a shame that most of those records do not get played that often. I often wonder why. Maybe forgotten, or on purpose not played. I do not see a reason why we should be forgetting these records, as they are so damn good. Yes, maybe it's the cheese element, but we all love a bit of cheese. Colin's mix is dope. Lot of obscure tracks, and I have to give him credit for playing these 30 records. It's mixes like this one which I admire, and hopefully it will give these records a second chance, and hopefully they will get played more and more. Let's not forget or underestimate these records. It's a solid mix with some serious anthems. Now my favourite record. You probably would think it is 'Can't Stop Raving' or 'Party', but I'm giving it to 'Trauma (Rock Your Body)'. Those piano bits will get stuck in your head for days! The Sun is still out, so let's go outside and enjoy it. And if you are planning on doing a BBQ, why not have this playing in the background? • Andy C & MC GQ - Westfest 2007

Westfest. Who remembers Westfest 2007? Unfortunately, I didn't go. It has always been on my bucket list, but now I am too late. Not just because it's nearly 20 years ago, but Westfest's final event took place last year, and there won't be any anymore. I should have gone, and especially to the 2007 edition, as the line-up looked insane, and the CD packs have been devoured by yours truly. Thanks to a friend of mine who purchased them on my behalf. Where would I have been without these CD packs? Who does CD packs in 2026? Back in the mid to late noughties, I was one of those who collected them. And as I was also heavily invested in Drum & Bass and Jungle, I listened to these CD packs like mad. It was kind of expensive to get them to me, back in the Netherlands. My local CD store did buy a few on my behalf. And Westfest 2007 was always one of those packs I cherished for many years, especially one set. Andy C and MC GQ. This is the kind of Drum & Bass I truly like. And Andy's quick mixing is insane. How he jumps from one record to the next, is just magical. And even the MC sometimes has to look back at the DJ, in amazement. He played for an hour, and crammed in 46 records like it's nothing. And those records are absolutely insane. Normally I'm not a fan of MCs, but I will make an exception when it comes to Drum & Bass and Jungle. And maybe even UKHC. They uplift the audience, and participate more than ever before. MC GQ might be screaming a lot, but his voice suits the set. And I do not mind it, not one bit. Hive - Neo (Remix) w/ Calyx - Are You Ready (Hive & Gridlok Remix) w/ Krust - Warhead (TC Remix) Xample - Lowdown VIP w/ The Kox - It's OK w/ Dillinja - Basscone Culture Shock - Vice Chase Chase & Status - Hurt You High Contrast feat Diane Charlemagne - If We Ever w/ Omni Trio - Renegade Snares (Foul Play Remix) w/ Shy FX - Plastic Soul w/ Omni Trio - Renegade Snares (Foul Play Remix) Andy C - Finders Keepers w/ M.I.S.T. - Outer Space Xample - Infamous w/ Krust - Warhead (TC Remix) TC - Get That Girl (Instrumental) w/ TC & Distorted Minds - Jump Hive & Gridlok feat D Bridge, Break & Silent Witness - Standing Room Only Commix - Be True Q Project - 2 Little 2 Late (KG Remix) w/ Ram Trilogy - Titan Superstyle Deluxe & Sonny Wharton - Meat Cake (Drumsound & Bassline Smith Remix) w/ Fresh - Living Daylights Shut Up And Dance feat Singing Fats - Outta National (Taxman Remix) Sub Focus - Join The Dots w/ E-Z Rollers - Ready For Love (Clipz Remix) Sub Focus - Druggy Ram Trilogy - Screamer VIP W/ Moving Fusion & Fierce - Now's The Time Switch - A Bit Patchy (Sub Focus Remix) w/ Ebony Dubsters - Ra! Andy C nailed it, and so did MC GQ. It is a highly recommended set by Andy C, from probably the greatest year for DnB. I did plan to do another review from yet another Slammin Vinyl event, from the same year, but that set was only 39 minutes long. This is an hour of Andy C, and fucking epic tunes. The longer, the better, right? In 2007 I moved throughout each styles and/or genre I loved, and kind of got stuck in DnB. And everything DnB related was bought. And one of the most memorable set for me, is this one. A superb set with serious slammers. And even my wife appreciates it, which means a lot to me (she never likes anything I listen to). But truth be told, the tunes are all great, and both the DJ and MC keep us entertained. I would have been on the dancefloor and wouldn't leave. The quality is insane. Each record demolishes my speakers and my eardrums. But '2 Little 2 Late'' has got to be the best in this set. Love it. ''In Love'' and 'Hurt You'' are also epic songs, but the first one mentioned, has got to get all my love and appreciation. I love it when I do find a set I've not heard in a while, and it takes me back in time. It hits me hard, and brings me to my happy place. This is one of those sets. I do remember the recording not being great. And you can hear that in this set too. I always thought it was just my CD, but it turns out it was bad all around? Was that a mistake, or just an issue caused by Andy C? A solid set. They don't make them as good as they used to. 2007 was definitely a great year. • NARKOTIK - In Memoriam II: 90's Terror (2026)

Monday is always an unpleasant day: a new week has started, you need to find your mojo again, and tap into your work mode, which was hidden for 48 hours. You need to get back to reality again, and for 8+ hours, your boss requires you to carry out the work you have signed up to do. Which is all fine by me, but I need something to get me through today. Something with a lot of energy, and something that also reminds me of the 90s. I could listen to the many pop radio stations out there, but then I would lose the will to live. And that's certainly not required on this Monday morning. So I decided to hit my trusted Soundcloud, and voila: a Terror mix by NARKOTIK. Not the first time, and I remember listening to the first instalment back in 2023, and now he's back with the second mix. And it is as hard as you can imagine it to be. Obviously it is hard, the name is Terror. But 90s Terror and Speedcore music was just a different thing all together. You either liked it or you didn't. And at first, I didn't. But then it hit me, and it hit me hard. More like a bulldozer. And it has caused permanent ear damage. I can say for certain that it's down to Terror and Speedcore. And that's cool. You cannot listen to it at any volume but max, right? And the 90s were so damn cool and good, as Terror was considered to be new, and wouldn't be bound to specifics: it could be hard and rough, could be slow and arduous. It could be anything, but as long as it wasn't defined by anything but Terror. And I do sometimes wonder why this kind of music appealed to me. I do not have a definitive answer, nor will I be able to explain why I still like it, in 2026. Let me show you all the tunes selected by NARKOTIK, and the tunes I grew up with. 01. Delta 9 - In The Void 02. Delta 9 - No More Regrets 03. The Destroyer - Toasted Dork (Heary Mix) 04. Delta 9 - Atomizer 05. D.O.A . - You're Dead 06. D.O.A. - This Is D.O.A. 07. The Destroyer - Big Bit 08. DJ 8MIX - Children, Get Up (The Destroyer Remix) 09. The Destroyer - BRBRBROB GEE Suck My Beat! 10. Nukom - Countdown 11. U.V.C . - U.V.C. 12. The Shaftmen - Shaftman (Delta 9 Remix) 13. D.O.A. - DJ Assfucker 14. Delta 9 - Head Strong 15. D.O.A. - Unleash The Brutality 16. The Kotzaak Klan - Bang Your Fuckin' Head 17. DJ Freak - Behold The Dreamer 18. The Blade Runner - Get Yours 19. Headcrash - D.I.E. 20. Industrial Terror Squad - Nightmare 21. D.O.A. - N.Y.C. Speedcore 22. Industrial Terror Squad - Real Gangstaz 23. Headcrash - Hardcore M.F. 24. The Destroyer - Fuck The Dream 25. Sonic Overkill - I’ll Be Watching You Die 26. Sonic Overkill - Kill Da Murder 27. Hedonist - Noise Job 28. Hedonist - For The Kill 29. David Lagon - Eins Zwei Brrrr 30. Christ Of Noise & David Lagon - Loud Bastard MED 31. Animal Intelligence - Object Of Rave This is an awesome list. A nice selection of records, and I always get a tad more excited when I see D.O.A., The Kotzaak Klan, and The Destroyer. And let's not forget Delta 9. Oh, these are the names I grew up with, and even though you might not like them, at least I like them. NARKOTIK's mix is very interesting. According to the mix, it was 'mixed on the fly'. If that's the case, be more 'on the fly', as this mix is awesome and we need more 90s Terror/Speedcore mixes. The hour goes by without you really noticing, and you are eager to press the play button again. These are just so freakishly good. Hard, rough, but deep down inside, there is beauty. Now the easy part: my favourite record. I have to split it into two, and both are records by D.O.A. The first one being 'N.Y.C. Speedcore' and the second one, which is an all time classic, 'Unleash The Brutality'. You cannot compete with these records, D.O.A.'s finest records. And probably the best 90s Terror/Speedcore records money can buy. I really enjoyed this mix, and it's given me enough energy to last the next 4+ days. I will be absolutely knackered on Friday, and if needs must, I will repeat what I've done today: listen to this mix. I simply have to. • Oldschool Ruffneck Ruffex Records Mix by Genetic (2025)

It is Sunday. Time has flown by, and the weekend is slowly coming to an end. But let's end it with a bang. A mix which contains music from one of the most prolific labels in Hardcore history. Ruffex Records. Ever heard of it? I certainly have, and so has the majority of the gabbers in the 90s and early 00s. Ruffneck as an artist has had some amazing music, and I'm glad to have lived through the era in which he dominated everything, including the 'Artcore' scene! Ruffneck and his music was everywhere. And I can't even comprehend how many of his aliases have been around, and who's music touched me personally. He had so many aliases, I think only Marc Acardipane has more. But Ruffneck and his labels meant a lot to the raving community, and still is considered one of the finest labels out there. I certainly concur, and when I discovered this mix by Genetic, I had to jump on, and enjoy it. Which I certainly did. Even though this mix was released in 2025, it is still awesome to hear. Not the first Genetic mix on this website, as his previous Ruffneck focussed mix was also on here. This time it's a shorter mix, but still with a lot of Ruffex records on it. And I could not wish for anything else. It's dreary outside, miserable and cold, and raining too. Time to turn up the volume to the max and go back in time, when things were much more simpler, and yet more awesome! 1. Diss Reaction - DJ Lan 2. Vanugenth the 5th - Here we go again.. 3. Predator vs Wedlock - Get On Down 4. Myztic - To Da Rhythm 5. Wedlock - Im The Fuck You Man! 6. Diss Reaction - Rock Dizz 7. Predator vs Wedlock - Roots and Culture 8. Lockjaw - Like A Bolder 9. Myztic vs Myrmidon - Pop Goes Tha Pistol 10. Nitrogen - Bad Bwoy 11. Myztic - Photonic Style 12. Trickster - Stop The Rhythm 13. Predator - Art Attack 14. Dark Syndicate - Escape From Reality 15. Ectomorph - Fall Of Babylon 16. Nosferatu - Inspiration Vibes 17. Ectomorph - Mindblower 18. Nitrogen - Da First Power 19. Knightvision - The Search For Marihuana This is a very interesting mix with some big anthems. Leave that to Ruffneck and friends to make awesome records, which quickly become timeless classics. And still sounding unique and fresh, and oh so damn good. They do sound futuristic, still to this day. Call it Hardcore, or call it whatever you like. This is Hardcore from the future. Maybe in the year 2100 they go and 'create' this sound, and relieve ourselves from Uptempo and other nonsense music. Genetic's mix is really great. And I really liked it. And the first few times I did listen to this mix, I really had no idea that this mix only lasts 38 minutes. So roughly 2 minutes per track, which doesn't seem like much, but he's mixed it together beautifully and not rushed, it doesn't come across as a quick mix, in my honest opinion. The best record? 'Stop The Rhythm'. What a wonderful track. Timeless masterpiece. Without a doubt, the best one in this mix. There are two less interesting tracks, which are 'The Search For Marihuana', and 'Pop Goes Tha Pistol'. They've never been my favourites, sorry. I want more Ruffneck orientated music. I don't want this present day Hardcore, but this futuristic sounding Hardcore. The way it was, and never will be repeated. They don't make them like they used to. • Dave Pearce - Dance Anthems Summer 2003

2003. That's 16 years ago. Let that sink in for a minute. 16 years ago I was working at Fantasy Island in Skegness, and had the time of my life. I remember going out to the clubs in Skegness and Ingoldmells, and getting absolutely hammered to the bone. I was so waisted: we celebrated my 18th or 19th birthday there back in 2001 or 20002, and we went out to the club, and people kept getting me vodka with Red Bull. I was so drunk, I can't even remember where I woke up the next day. But I do remember going absolutely ape on the dancefloor. I was young. Now I'm old, and missing those good ol' days. What I do remember is the music. This was the era of pop music being awesome. And sadly most of these tunes are not on the radio anymore. But back then the tunes were heard everywhere. And when I mean everywhere, I do mean it. The music made became timeless anthems. Even 16 years later I'm enjoying myself, hearing these tunes again. Smiles for miles, eh? For me the CD I'm talking about has got a lot of memories. Pleasant memories. It was innocent clubbing, that's what it was. But not just that, I was also a supporter of vodka and the energy drinks company Red Bull. I made them a lot of money. Anyway, this CD. It's Dave Pearce's 'Dance Anthems Summer 2003' CD. And I think I bought this at an HMV? Well, I bought it somewhere. And I remember handing it over to the control room at Fantasy Island, and they played out the tunes during the evening. It was so good to hear these anthems whilst being an operator at the rides. We also created our own anthems, but that's for another day (different story, angry manager). I bought this because of the memories. And even in 2019 I'm still playing it. Thankfully I burned this onto my PC a few years ago, because the actual physical copy is unplayable. So many scratches, it just hurts my ears whenever I press play. Skipping constantly. And I think the second disc is just fucked the most: I insert the CD, it starts with track 1 skipping, and it goes towards the last record, without asking. And the story ends with it saying 'CD error'. Dave Pearce, your CD is one of the most loved CDs in my possession. Yes, it does contain a few cheesy anthems, but the general gist of this album is euphoria. And eternal happiness for me. Let me show the young kids what kind of music we were listening to back in 2003. CD 1 01. Benny Benassi presents The Biz - Satisfaction 02. Tomcraft - Loneliness 03. Room 5 feat Oliver Cheatham - Make Luv 04. Jason Nevins presents U.K.N.Y. feat Holly James - I'm In Heaven (Motivo Vocal Remix) 05. L.C. Anderson vs Psycho Radio - Right Stuff (Original Mix) 06. Intenso Project feat Laura Jaye - Your Music 07. Kurtis Matronix presents Chamonix - How Did You Know? 08. Deepest Blue - Deepest Blue 09. Layo & Bushwacka! - Love Story (vs Finally) (Tim Deluxe Vocal Mix) 10. Basement Jaxx - Where's Your Head At? 11. X-Press 2 feat David Byrne - Lazy 12. Shakedown - At Night 13. Jakatta - American Dream 14. Minimalistix - Magic Fly 15. Dee Dee - Forever 16. Future Breeze - Temple Of Dreams 17. Cosmic Gate - Fire Wire 18. Push - Strange World 19. Alison Limerick - Where Love Lives (Northstarz Remix) 20. Sound De-Zign - Happiness 21. The Beginerz - Reckless Girl 22. Static Revenger - Happy People 23. Supermen Lovers - Starlight CD 2 01. DJ Sammy - Sunlight 02. Love Inc - Broken Bones 03. Yomanda - You're Free (Synth Mix) 04. The Foundation feat Nathalie Rossie - All Out Of Love 05. Snap! - Rhythm Is A Dancer 06. Michael Woods feat Imogen Bailey - If You Want Me (Lifestylers Edit) 07. Jurgen Vries feat CMC - The Opera Song (Brave New World) 08. Saffron Hill feat Ben Onono - My Love Is Always There 09. Underworld - Two Months Off 10. Kosheen - Hide U (John Creamer & Stephane K Edit) 11. Ian van Dahl - Will I 12. The Space Brothers - One More Chance 13. Plastic Boy - Live Another Life 14. ATB - 9PM (Till I Come) 15. Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar '98 (Original Three 'N One Edit) 16. Chicane - Saltwater 17. Storm - Time To Burn 18. Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400 19. Mario Piu - Communication 20. Norman Bass - How U Like Bass 21. Warrior - Warrior 22. Schiller - Das Glockenspiel 23. DJ Shog - This Is My Sound We all know these tracks. Unless you were born in 2003, or after. But if you are an 80s kid like me, you will know these, and probably loves these. And also have this love/hate relationship with a few of these records. Yes, they are crowd pleasers, but are they really good good? 'Kernkraft 400'? So catchy, but so bad at the same time. 'Where's Your Head At?' Never a fan of Basement Jaxx. Boring and repetative vocals. But hey, at least they made some money out of it, and made me dance in 2003 like a rabid dog. The first disc starts with probably the most annoying record ever, and yet, once you heard it, or even read the title, it won't leave your head for a day or two. But for me its a combination of several factors which makes a track great. Yes, repetative bits and bobs is important, but also wicked vocals. And if you can throw in a few wicked drops, who am I to complain? 'How Did You Know' is that record for me. So underrated. LOVE IT (not for it being underrated though). The second disc also has a few amazing records. But it's that combination I'm looking for, and I found it in The Space Brothers' record 'One More Chance'. But that's just my preference: you might like another record. Sure, why not? As I said before, this CD has a lot of positive memories. But also a few bad records. Records that have not stood the test of time well. But still seen as classics, but not in my books. Am I the only one who finds Underworld overrated? Anyway. It's Thursday. Throwback Thursday. Taking me back to 2003. 16 years ago. Wow. Thanks Dave for making this year a wicked one, and putting my memories on one CD. • Progressive Trance Classics (2024)

The image above, that's how it looked like this morning, looking out of my bedroom window. The sky looked amazing, and even though it was a bit nippy outside, currently the temperatures have gone up, and it actually feels extremely pleasant. The weather has changed, and so had my mood. And now, I am in the mood for some lovely Trance music. And obviously, my source for excellent Trance music, is Soundcloud. I think my stats from last year did show I was on it for most of the year, and spent way too much time on it. But can you blame me? I had this mix on list 'favourite' list for a few weeks now, and I did listen to it a few times, but now I have done my chores, and got some time to myself. And I had to listen to it again. And I'm so glad that I did. It is made by Andresen, who has appeared a few times on this website, and it was uploaded 2 years ago, but it was already an 'old' mix, as he made it a few years prior to uploading it. That is obviously an added bit of info, but not relevant to this mix, as the music speaks for itself. And it's all down to the music selected by Andresen. It contains a few very delicious anthems from back in the day. And a few I've not heard before, or completely forgotten about. And the funny thing is, this mix only contains 7 records, which is kind of short, compared to other mixes I've been listening to lately. 7 tracks, and 1 hour long. Not each, you numpty, but the whole mix. Christ, that would make this a 7 hour long mix, and I don't have 7 uninterrupted hours in a day, Taucher - Waters (Phase III) LSG - Netherworld Planisphere - So Many Ways (Force Mass Motion Remix) Leama - Melodica Odessi - Moments Of Space Delerium - Silence (Fade's Sanctuary Mix) Yum Yum - Heavy Fluid (Main Element Mix) This could be the winner of shortest tracklist ever. Took me less than 20 seconds to type. And that hasn't happened before. So already a winning mix to me. But what a mix this is. Short tracklist, but each track is just so darn good. So influential, and sometimes way ahead of its time. I never knew that LSG's 'Netherworld' was released in 1997. It could have been released in 2000, 2010, or even in 2020, and I would have taken your word on it. What a timeless classic. And definitely my favourite record in this mix, that's for damn sure. Andresen takes us on a pleasant journey, and the hour flies by before you know it. And I highly recommend this mix. It's got some bangers, and they are played at full length, no radio edits or shortened versions to cram in as many tracks as possible. 7 tracks, that is totally sufficient for an hour long mix. And they are solid tracks. It was difficult to choose 'Netherworld' as my number 1, and 'Heavy Fluid' is another banging tune, slightly underrated, in my honest opinion. • Dream Machine (Uplifting , Vocal Trance Mix) (2026)

Where did the weekend go? Christ on a bike, time does fly by, doesn't it? It is already Monday, and we are back to normal. A normal working week for all of us, and I was thoroughly enjoying the weekend. Maybe it's time to introduce a 5 day weekend, and a 2 day working week. That would be amazing! But that's not happening in this universe, maybe in one of the MCU multiverse worlds. But one can hope, and one can dream. And some even have a dream machine.... Well, not literally. But the title of this mix is indeed 'Dream Machine', as you can see on the image above. And I stumbled across this mix by accident. Obviously Soundcloud has got a lot of mixes, and most of them will go by me without being noticed. But this one was noticed. Not sure why, but I'm glad that I did discover this mix. As it has given me enough energy on this Monday to get me through the week ahead. And it ain't going to be a pleasant week. I've not seen the name DJ Grey before, nor have I come across any of his mixes. This is literally the first mix I've encountered, and what a glorious mix it is. Filled with Uplifting and Euphoric Trance anthems, I couldn't wish for anything else. The mix is nearly an hour and a half long, and if you put it on repeat, the rest of your day is sorted. That's what I've done today, to be fair. Richard Durand, Nicholas Gunn & Alina Renea - For You (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix) Izzy - Coruscate (Extended Mix) Gouryella - Walhalla (Wayne McAndrew Face-Lift Remix) Venetica & Wavetraxx - Air (Original Mix) DJT & Sharon B - Home Again (Extended Mix) Derb - Derbus (RAM's Refurbished Fusion Remix) Randy Katana - Fancy Fair (Daniel Skyver Bootleg) Allen Watts - Violator (Extended Mix) RAM & MIDI Kittyy - Rapture (Extended Mix) Peter Martijn Wijnia & Majesta - Not The End (Niko Zografos Remix) U-Mount - Pulsar (Extended Mix) DJ Ton T.B. - Dream Machine (Factor B's Back To The Future Remix) Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Paul Denton - Teleporter (Extended Mix) Criostasis - The Elements Of Life Thomas McGoldrick - Just A Dream (Extended Mix) A-Tronix & Sven E - Tell Me (Brent Rix Remix) An unexpected mix to hear on this Monday, and it has made the day fly by. A nice surprise, and the mix contains a lot of records you weren't ready for. This has been a pleasant ride. Not really into dreamland on a dream machine, but it was close enough. You can imagine a world beyond your visual capabilities, and DJ Grey taking you on the journey towards this secret world. And these tunes are certainly great to listen to. But normally, when you are to go into dreamland, you would like peace and quiet. This is the opposite, and it makes me want to raise my hands in the air, and NOT fall asleep. It's a splendid mix. I've got nothing more to add. So many great records in here. A lot I've not heard of seen before. And that's what makes this mix interesting. Especially when ''Rapture'' comes in. That's a big track. I know the original, and I find the vocals a bit bland, but when the epic build up occurs, you know it is going to be a great section. A great record. Go and jump on this dream machine, and see where DJ Grey takes you to! • Thunderdome - Promo 'The Ultimate Megamix' (2016)

Seeing these sets on YouTube from Thunderdome 2024 and 2025, it made me hungry for more DJ Promo. I am fully aware that he did his set with Catscan in 2025, but you know what I'm saying. DJ Promo is the best of the best, both when it comes to DJing and producing. And he's been one of my favourites for a few decades now. So to find his Thunderdome CD from 2016, which I've not seen or heard before, is always a very warm welcome on this Friday afternoon. How can I say no to a DJ Promo mixed CD. Could you? I cannot. And normally I would give some kind of history, but for DJ Promo it is certainly not needed. We all know the history. Would we have to mentioned the history of the greatest of all time? It's already imprinted in our minds. He is the greatest, and he freaking knows it. Name someone who has made so many hits in the 90s and 00s, and still remains active, alive and kicking, and who is appreciated by the whole raving community? There could only be one. He is the boss. And I've been a fan since the mid 90s. HIs music seems to have captured the right atmosphere of Hardcore during the late 90s and early 00s. He's been dominating the scene ever since he stepped in, and released his music. And obviously, if ever Thunderdome knocks on someone's door, it has to be Promo. And in 2016, both Thunderdome and The Third Movement released a CD, which came in a bundle. I don't think I've seen this one before, but it came with a few goodies. I remember those goodie CD packs. How many of us bought them in the 90s? Stickers, t-shirts, CDs, agendas, and more. Let's not forget the keychains and lanyards. I had them all, but unfortunately I missed out on this one. Well, at least we've got the music. And it's epic! Promo - I Wanna Freak You Promo feat Solo - Psycho Style Promo - Sing It Louder Promo - Burning 4 U Promo - Boomin' Out The Box Promo feat Brian Acardy - Let The Bass Boom Promo - Kill Tha Noise Promo - From Da Darkside Promo - Can't Hold Me Down Promo - Bring It Raw Promo feat Gemini - This Underground Sound Promo - Bad Boy Style Promo - Cold As Stone Promo feat Brian Acardy - Rock The House Promo - Shit To Die For Promo - Killerz Promo - Feel The Thunder Promo feat Brian Acardy - Ya Gangsta Music Promo - Rocking With The Best Promo feat Delirium - Bass Power Promo feat Brian Acardy - Wayz Of Da Underground Promo - Beat Ya Brain Promo - Shut Up! My childhood in a nutshell. I'm not kidding, I would say 95% of these songs I grew up with, and played until my parents cut the cables of my speakers. That's when the fun ended, but thankfully I had my 'my first Sony walkman' headset. Not sufficient enough and not very bass focussed, but I had to listen to Hardcore, 24/7. This is a splendid mix from the first to the last second. Obviously you got DJ Promo behind the decks, playing DJ Promo songs. It's a match, that's for sure. My idea of Heaven. And the songs? They are all absolutely wicked. Over the years, I've not had the pleasure of seeing Promo perform. The only one I can remember, was at Mysteryland 1998. And he did a marvellous set. And I always hold that live CD near to my heart: first ever rave, and we won a football match. The atmosphere was electric, and so was the CD. And based upon my love for that CD, my favourite track in this mix is 'Can't Hold Me Down'. There are so many great songs in this mix, and I truly love them all. Promo is, and will always remain my hero. A true Hardcore pioneer who shaped the scene in the 90s, and made it his own. He is the true King, the leader, the messiah. Are you questioning my statement? Have you listened to this CD yet? Another CD I do not have. I might go on the hunt online to see if it's out there. Probably not, and there's more chance of snow in Hell to find the collector's edition incl. all the goodies. The CD will do, if it's out there.... • Hardstyle Classics Favourites #1 - JUKKA (2026)

From a very lovely Trance mix to a very lovely Hardstyle mix. The weekend is looking good! Especially when it's an early Hardstyle mix. The mix was made by JUKKA, who I've not encountered before, but after checking the tracklist, which came in the cover image (as above), I knew I had something to look forward to. A mix with most of my favourite early Hardstyle classics. And its very compact: the mix is only 45 minutes long, but JUKKA takes you on a journey, back in time. I do love mixes dedicated to the early sound. It could be Gabber/Hardcore, Techno, Trance, and Hardstyle. I do prefer the earlier sound compared to the present day, as that's the sound I grew up with. The amount of hours I've spent in my life, listening to Hardstyle, cannot be counted. The number would be immense, as I'm now 42, and still listen to the early Hardstyle sound. It won't escape me, and I'm glad, as it certainly brings back a lot of awesome memories. You will know in a split second which my favourite record is in this mix, but truth be told: I do believe it's on many people's list. But JUKKA did select a handful of other amazing records, and crammed them into this wonderful mix, which I've listened to over and over yesterday. If the first instalment is this good, what can we expect in the next instalments? More of this goodness please? Tuneboy & Stephanie - Music Is The Raiders - A Feeling (Tuneboy Remix) DJ Phil Ty - Miami Beach (Polite Mix) Hardstyle Masterz feat Max Enforcer - Light Of The Dark (The Blackout Mix) (JUKKA Edit) Tatanka - Don't Give Up Headhunterz - Just Say My Name Wildstylez - Pleasure Wildstylez - Muzic Or Noize Star Creatorz - Killzone (Hunter Remix) The KGB's - Superdisco (Technoboy Remix) Headhunterz - Forever As One S-Dee - Equipment Headhunterz - Save Your Scrap For Victory w/ Gostosa - Never Say Never (JUKKA Vocal Edit) 2 Best Enemies - Phases (TBY Romantic Mix) Technoboy - Ti Sento A very solid selection. In an instant, I'm thrown back many decades in the past, and I'm this young lad again, dancing the day and night away to these awesome tunes. And as I've said in other reviews, they don't make them like they used to. And even if they try, it never sounds the same. We just have to acknowledge that the early sound remains in the past. JUKKA's mix has got the tracks I wanted to hear. And if this is a taster of more to come, I cannot wait. This first mix is certainly a good one. Come on, how you can you disagree with the records? Granted, you might not have heard JUKKA's own edits (like I haven't), but you know all the tracks, right? And you love them all. If not, why are you reading this? I've loved every second of it, but when it comes toward the end, you know it is going to hit even harder. 'Phases' and 'Ti Sento'. Those are just magnificent records, and they are on another level. Yes, they are classics, but they are heavenly classics. Only a select few have risen to this level, and these two are on there. Out of these two, I would ALWAYS choose 'Ti Sento'. Brilliant record. Worth checking out, this mix. Go and jump on it, and let it dominate your weekend! • Vinyl Trance Sessions - 001 (2026)

The weekend is about to land, but we still have a few hours ahead of us. As long as we stick together, we can get through it. I'm here to assist you through today, and how would I do that? Well, I might have found a perfect Friday mix for you all. Mixed by Sam Garlick, and it's a Trance mix. Need I say more? I probably have got more to say, but we should be focussing on this mix. And also the fact that it's Friday again. Where does the time go? It goes too damn quick. It has also been roughly 3 years since I last reviewed a mix made by Sam Garlick. That's way too long ago. But he's back, with a brand spanking new mix. And the first thing I've noticed, is the awesome cover image for this mix. It reminds me of noughties ID&T albums, which had a similar, very aesthetically pleasing covers. Simple, but effective. Credits for that. You don't need a full on AI generated image, with too much going on. Keep it simple, keep it clean. We certainly need something to boost our energy, after this long and arduous week. Especially after the one I've had. And this mix does bring a smile on my face. It makes me feel young and exuberant again. These are all songs from when I was a young lad, and danced the night away. This is what I played out loud on my speakers, and drove my parents and my neighbours mad. And do I care? Not really. Still don't care. Sam, if you are reading this, there might be issues occurring because of your mix. My current neighbours might have an argument with me, but I put the blame solely on you. It's your mix which makes me increase the volume to the max. Thanks Sam. John Johnson - Impact (Van Bellen Remix) Oliver Lieb - Subraumstimulation (Main Mix) Purple Haze - Adrenaline Holden & Thompson - Nothing (93 Returning Mix) Bullit - Cried To Dream (Max Graham Remix) Neo & Farina - Someone St John vs Locust - Mind Circles Armin van Buuren - Sunburn Ferry Corsten - Indigo Solarstone - Solarcoaster (Midway Remix) Scott Bond vs Solarstone - Naked Angel Randy Katana - Fancy Fair (Fancy Edit) Fred Baker vs Greg Nash - Lunar Eclipse Mandy Reid - Up The Tempo Polaris - Inspect Her Gadget (Ripple Driver Remix) Sandler - Theme Song (Sandler Remix) Nick Lunn & YOMC presents Technopunk - Energize (PVD Edit) Marcos - Just For A Day (Marc Van Linden Remix) Nu Nrg vs Jose Amnesia - Be Right Back Yep, there will be a neighbour fight. Don't know when it is going to happen, but it will happen. How can you listen to this at any volume but max? You have to crank up the volume, especially when one of my favourite songs is playing. A fantastic mix, with some serious Trance anthems. Sam's selection is really great, they all put a smile on my face. A nice, long mix, with amazing tunes. Taking me right back to the good old days. And when Trance ruled the world. Well, not the whole world, technically, but certainly my world. And I'm glad to have lived through those years, and witness the progression of Trance into this wonderful sound so many people love and adore. There are too many great tracks to mention, but I will mention two. They are my favourites in the mix, and can describe my youth. Ground breaking records back then, and have stood the test of time. 'Sunburn', which is my favourite Armin record, and 'Indigo', probably my most favourite Ferry record (he's made a lot of excellent tunes). I keep rewinding these two records, as they both put a huge smile on my face. And they make me want to go back in time. I've got only love and appreciation for this mix. Hopefully this will be a reoccurring mix series, as the first instalment has been a great success. I cannot wait to hear more. But until then, I will push the play button over and over. I feel 20+ years younger again... and more alive than ever! • Tiësto - Live @ TIME 13.12.1997

Look at how long he looks! He looks very young, but truth be told, in 1997 he was 27/28. He looked much younger though, if I'm honest. But he was still a rookie in the scene, but not for long. He was slowly growing, and people started to notice his name and what he could do behind the decks. Not only a DJ but also a producer, and his biggest hits would still come later in life. But in 1997, he was already making waves, and according to the internet, this is the oldest Tiësto set out there. So let's jump on it, and go right back in time! And I could not find any info on where this set took place. Is it a club? Is it an event called 'Time'? I tried searching everywhere, but couldn't find anything. So if you are reading this and have got any additional information, that would be appreciated. But let's now focus on the 'oldest' Tiësto mix in existence. Which, come to think of it, is nearly 30 years ago?! That boggles the mind, it does! Wherever it was recorded and whoever recorded it, I'm glad that you did. This was around the time I started to venture into the Trance scene, and started buying everything from Arcade, Mecado (a massive flop, but had some amazing CDs such as Trance House), and more. I especially remember those top 100 albums, they were always awesome (sadly can't find them online). This was the start of my love for Trance music, and this was the start of Tiësto's career, which would only go up and up and up.... Jake & Jesse - Low Turbulance Fumee - Ultra Light (Verte) Lock - Into The Sun BBG feat Erin - Just Be Tonight (Disco Citizens Mix) The Voyager - Back To Earth (Extended Club Mix) Cascade - Transcend The Subjective - Tremmer Silent Breed - Sync In Bamboo Lounge - Clone Nighthunter - Altar (Club Mix) Qattara - The Truth (Cousfat Mix) Viper 2 - Titty Twister This is a really wonderful set. Unfortunately it's not a very long set, but however long it might be, it does pack a punch. Tiësto did what he did best, and the result is a wicked set, with some more obscure and forgotten tracks in it. Even I had to blink twice, after seeing the tracklist. How could I forget these gorgeous anthems? Even toward the end of 1997, Tiësto knew which record would work on the dancefloor. All these records are immense, and even though you can hear the audience scream throughout the set (sounds kind of small and empty, in my honest opinion), I would have loved to have been there, experience such a set with these records coming at me through the speakers. They are all dope as fuck! Two records stood out compared to the rest. 'Sync In', and of course the wonderful 'Back To Earth'. Both not heard in a while, and in an instant, they took me back to 1997. Glorious anthems. If you want to experience late 90s Trance, you definitely have to listen to these two tracks. Earliest Tiësto set out there. Already loved by those who have listened to it on Soundcloud. And I'm now one of them. A huge fan of him back in the day, and each set, CD or anything Tiësto related, it will always bring a smile on my face. More of these please! • 10 Year Anniversary - NL to UK

The 1st of March is a special date to me. Especially in the year we live in, 2026. As it's been 10 years since I make the journey from my home country, the Netherlands, to live with my wife, in the United Kingdom. The journey itself wasn't long, and as I've been coming to the country since 2001/2002, I know my way around. But it is a symbolic journey, as I left my friends, family, and work behind. Everything I build from the ground up (which accumulates to nearly nothing), I had to do it again, but this time, in a different country. And I got in just before Brexit happened.... Let's step back in time, shall we? We go back to the early years of the new Millennium. My dad, who is a supervisor at a roller coaster company, worked at Fantasy Island in Skegness. He talked to a few managers, and heard that they were looking for people to work at the park during the Summer holiday. Dad came back home (Heerlen, the Netherlands), and told me that they were searching for people. I went 'hell yeah', and booked a trip to the UK. I spent two Summers at Fantasy Island, and I still cherish those moments. I think I spent my birthdays there too, and got absolutely slaughtered/hammered. And many more memories were made, but I'll keep them to myself, as not everything can be shared through the internet.... My love for the UK started then and there. I fell in love with the culture, the people, the food, and everything else. And back home, I would watch more and more British TV shows and films, and one of those shows was called 'Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, Please'. It was on Comedy Central (in the Netherlands), and I basically saw Sheridan Smith, and fell in love. Wouldn't you agree? A young lad like myself, single, ready to mingle? Yeah, me neither. But you can still hope and dream, and maybe one day. That day never arrived, but what could have been? Searching for more information on the trusted Google, I found a little 'fanclub' with some dedicated and die-hard fans of the show. I decided to join, and started chatting away with all these lovely people. Remember, these are the mid to late noughties, and this was considered normal. No bad blood, no harm, just fans of the show talking about each episode. And I felt comfortable with them. They probably felt the same, as they invited me to come over for a 2 Pints themed BBQ somewhere (I've forgotten the name of the place), and to then go and see the locations in Runcorn. Nothing lost, nothing gained: I made the journey to the UK and had a wonderful time. I met the people from the forum, and was pleasantly surprised that they weren't murderers or trying to steal my credit card (as the news would have you believe). They were passionate about the show, and so was I. I then decided to, at a later stage, to come over and stay in a hotel somewhere (again, my memory has gone blank) and go and see a recording. Not a common thing here in the Netherlands, but I thought it was cool. I came over, stood outside the old BBC building with those from the forum, and one young lady stood there, with her mum, and she fell in love (that's what she says, not me!). Her name? Hayley. My future wife. I do think we also went to the pub after, where Sheridan actually gave me a kiss, but again, different times... We went to a charity football match, and people who know me, know I genuinely despise football with a passion. But it was for free, and my friend Bryan took me and Hayley and Laura (another member of the forum). After the match, we met Ralf Little and even Danny Dyer, and the end of the day was near. But before Hayley got dropped off at her house and we drove off, she asked me (or told me) to add her on MSN, so we can chat. That was a memorable day, as it changed our lives. We started talking, and remained in touch throughout the following months. We then decided to meet up again, me coming over to the UK, and that day we 'sealed the deal'. We basically got together and never left each other ever since. I don't think I even asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend. She just was (and still is). Before this story gets boring, I'm making sure I'll keep the relevant bits in it. We continued through the wonderful world of MSN, stayed online for hours on end, and even decided to continue on BBM (that was Blackberry's own messaging service). The amount of credit I've spent, is insane! (I did not have a contract, all prepaid). But I felt something. This girl was special. What we have is special. And we need to make it work. But it was difficult, living in different countries, having shit working hours (I used to work at a Total service station for 16 years). I tried for many years, sent out hundreds of applications, but none willing enough to even respond. I had a few responses and interviews, and even made the journey over for that interview, only to go back the same day, and continue on the nightshift straight after. Times were different. I kept on applying for any job, and was even willing to work for a company who's sole purpose was to sell animal food. I lied during the interview, stating I loved animals, which I do, but I'm not a animal lover. I love animals if they are owned by others, but I would never have one. Christ, I had so many fish when I was younger, and they all perished (fish don't swim well in Red Bull). I felt devastated, no one was willing to hire me. And I would not want to leave the comfort of my home with no job in sight. And I continued looking, until I found a job, to work at a car manufacturer's warranty department, in Luton. I was so lucky to have been given an interview, and it went all online, so that was an added bonus (no need to travel). The woman who asked me all these technical questions even shared some images of car parts, and asked me what they were. I had no clue, as I'm not a technician, nor could I see it properly, so she just signed it off as 'passed'. Months after I got hired, I was told that due to misinformation, they hired me, as they thought I had worked at a dealership, but we call petrol stations service stations. But it turned out, I was actually good at the job. I moved over in 2016, on the 1st of March. Stopped all my payments and everything else (including rent), and rented a van for a few days, and chucked everything I had, in there. My dad joined me on this adventure, and the destination was North London, Southgate. I moved in with my wife, her mother, and her gran. Interesting times, to say the least. I was used to live on my own, have my own routine, and if I wanted to walk around butt naked, I could. But not anymore. I lived in a house with three women. It was a blessing in disguise. I left my country, and moved into the country I always loved and adored. North London was amazing to me and my wife, and we've created many memories there. Working for the manufacturer was also amazing, even though they paid me little to nothing, I still made friends, and learned the trade, which came in handy later in life. But my health deteriorated, and my GP send me to the hospital to have my body checked. 50+ scans, ranging from the benign to the big boys, and it was only after the 51st scan at a different hospital, that my kidney had to be removed. At this stage I moved from one car brand to the next, as the one I worked for, moved country (Budapest or Bucharest, I can never remember). I didn't want to move with them, as I just made the move to the UK. So I jumped ship. I was still in my probation, but they were kind enough to let me have my surgery, and determined as I was, the following week I was working from home, still recovering, but working. Life continued as normal, and we've spend many hours down the local pub, eating beer battered onion rings, and having the time of our lives. We were together, not separate anymore. And it was about time we tied the knot. We had to. Together since 2009 (met in 2008), so we decided to pick a date, and set it all in motion. But a little virus was going to put a downer on not just us, but the whole freaking world. The virus' name? COVID-19. Obviously, we had to postpone the wedding, and we were not blessed to be furloughed. We were still working for the duration of COVID-19, but we were happy. Together, at home, side by side. But it aso gave us the opportunity to save up for our own place. The deposit came in handy, and we managed to put together a nice fund for our future home, wherever that would be. But the wedding happened first. Family and friends came over, and we had a wonderful time at the Holiday Inn in Hemel Hempstead. But we were ready for the next chapter in our lives, and we went hunting for our own place. And we visited a few houses, but nothing really appealed. One evening, I went through my junk folder, and saw this email, and it was a new build in Stewartby. I clicked on it, and got asked to meet the people behind it all. On the day we met, they asked us to put a deposit down, otherwise it would have been sold. We did, and now we had to wait. Our house was still to be build, but it was going to be a new home, not a second hand one, not used. A new one. We moved in, in 2022, and we finally had our own place. New memories to be made. A bit further out of London (where the wife works) and Epsom (where I work), but it was going to be so damn good. The house was decorated the way we wanted, and we had some amazing parties here. Even to this day do we have parties, and get absolutely hammered. That's who we are. I found a job near where I live, literally 10 minutes driving, and decided to give it a go. Unfortunately it wasn't for me, an after a year and a bit, I went back to the previous employer, who welcomed me with open arms. So far, I've worked for three car manufacturer's, and all by a mistake, or some misunderstanding of the meaning 'service station'. I am so glad that this happened. Where would I have been without that first initial job? I moved in 2016, just before Brexit happened. Obviously Brexit ain't pleasant, and whatever you voted for, i couldn't car less, as we are entitled to have our own opinions. But for those who emigrated from another country, it was hard to prove our willingness to contribute to the UK society. I did, and was given the permanent status (I am not leaving at all!). This obviously took a few years, but once I received the document, I knew: the UK is the place I'm living in, and will die in. I am not going back to the Netherlands, ever again. I've met so many people over the years, Created so many great memories. And it has only been 10 years. Not many people will actually care, as their lives are also important. But this milestone for me, is certainly important. From being too nervous and not knowing if I would ever be in the country with the love of my life, to now never wanting to leave. I've now spent 25% of my life in a different country. It feels weird to state, but it is the truth. Would I recommend it to anyone? Well, if you do it because of a romantic reason, I would say yes. Always follow your heart. Back in the early days, Skegness/Ingoldmells stole my heart, and has given it back to me the second I came back. And I feel blessed. For all those I met on this journey which took 10 years, hello. For all those I will meet in the next decade, hello to you too! And for those we have lost over the years, we will meet again. I hope this blog kept it interesting for you to read until the end. I've missed so many great memories, but at least you get the gist of the 10 years+. The UK has always been special to me, and will remain my home until my last breath. Which isn't to happen for at least another 60 years. If you are planning on moving to the UK to follow your heart, please make sure you read up on all the information available. After Brexit, a lot of rules have changed, and it isn't as 'easy' as it was. It is certainly more challenging and difficult to make the crossing. But determination can create momentum, and once moving, there's no way of stopping you! It didn't stop me, and look where I'm at? Fun side note to finish this blog with: I came over to Fantasy Island because of my dad being a supervisor (and he made both the Millennium coaster and the Odyssey), and now, less than 10 minutes walking, there will be a Universal theme park in 5 years time. What a coincidence, right? I'd be too old to work as a ride operator, but one can only dream??

  • Scott Brown's Evolution Records (2026)

It is Monday, and it's going to be a very long day. Especially after I've been on the socials and have seen posts of people who have been to HTID - The Homecoming. Gutted I didn't get a ticket and rave my arse off, but seeing the responses online, it sounded like it was a great party. And one of the main acts at this event was the legendary DJ Scott Brown. And if I'm being honest, how can you have a UK Hardcore party and not have this mighty DJ perform? It wouldn't make any sense. Scott Brown is UK Hardcore, and I'm gutted to have missed HTID. But at least I've got my trusted Soundcloud, which has got thousands of mixes dedicated to Scott Brown. One of the more recent ones was made by DJ Adrenalin, and it is roughly an hour and a half, all goodies which were released on Scott Brown's own label, Evolution Records. And I'm a massive Scott Brown fan, so I've jumped straight on it, and haven't stopped listening to it. This label has produced so many great records, which have become timeless classics. And everyone would agree with me that Scott is probably the greatest UK Hardcore producer of all time. To me, and that's just my personal view, Scott has got to be the best producer out there. He's truly great in making melodic UK Hardcore anthems. He's got the gift of making tracks sound so melodic, and the melodies remain in your head for hours, if not days. He's a gifted producer, who keeps on pushing the boundaries, and he is keeping us raving until we are 80+. That all depends on your physical state, of course. But if you are still able to rave, Scott will keep you on your toes. Adrenalin's mix is a good one, and you are now curious to find out which records were used, right? Scott Brown & Marc Smith - Hardcore U Know Scott Brown - Blue Room (Kev Willow Remix) Interstate - Move Your Body Scott Brown - How Many Sukkas (Plus System Remix) Scott Brown & Marc Smith - Juggernaut Scott Brown - Do It Like We Do It (Scott Brown Remix) Plus System - Commence (Jonny EL Mix) Interstate - Lift Scott Brown - Make You Freak (Scott Brown Remix) Scott Brown - Rock That Body Scott Brown vs DJ Rab S - Now Is The Time (Scott Brown's 96 Remix) Scott Brown - Detonated (Scott Brown 2005 Remix) Plus System - Please Don't Cry Scott Brown - Memories (Plus System Remix) Scott Brown - I'm In Heaven Scott Brown & DMO - Fade Away Scott Brown - Heaven In Your Eyes Scott Brown - Johnny Scott Brown - Viroid (Nu Foundation Remix/Q-Tex Mix Up) Scott Brown - Sensation Brisk & Scott Brown - Back & Forth (Original Mix) Amazing. This takes me back to the good ol' days. Scott Brown is just one amazing producer who had the ability to capture what the scene needed back in the day, and came out the gate storming. The amount of records he released over the years, and the amount which remained most ravers 'all time favourite' records is immense. You cannot discuss UK Hardcore with a fellow raver and NOT mention a Scott Brown record. You simply cannot. This has got some amazing records, and they are truly amazing. There's not a raver alive who doesn't love these tunes, and does not go bonkers whenever they hear them. Scott's records are always hitting the spot, and making us rave even harder. He's a true icon. OK, now the less interesting part of the review. Not a fan of 'Johnny' or 'Do It Like We Do It'. Those are the two records I've not liked since day one, and I found a certain hatred for the Bloodhound Gang song. Boy, I hate the original, and I truly dislike the vocals. But, on the plus side, only two out of twenty-one records. That's an achievement. And of course did Adrenalin play the big hits. The big dancefloor smashers, the hits which became timeless classics. And normally I would go for anything similar to 'Make You Freak' or 'Blue Room', but in this mix, the record which stood out the most, was 'Move Your Body'. Now, that's a banger! A solid mix with some minor errors. Nothing to worry about. In the end, anything Scott Brown related wil be devoured by the raving community. Bring on more of these mixes. • Trance Classics (Guest Mix for TAMMAC) 18.02.2026

Saturday, the day of rest. And today is such a day. Not doing much, but the standard chores and Playstation time. And in the background some excellent music playing. Today's mix comes from the channel Legacy Trance on Soundcloud, and it's a 68 minute long mix, with some interesting Trance anthems. It was actually a guest mix for another channel called TAMMAC, which I've not heard of before, but I will give a follow today. Anything Trance related brings a smile on my face, and this mix is certainly a good one. It takes me back to the wonderful years of Trance, when it absolutely dominated my life. If anything can bring a smile on my face, it's great music. And once you press play and you hear the first song in this mix, you know you are about to listen to a great mix. And I'm not lying: go to the player underneath this mix, and check it out for yourself. Am I lying? No, I certainly am not! I grew up with mostly Millennium Trance in my life, and when I saw the tracklist, and spotted the names of the artists, I knew the mix was going to be awesome. Rank 1, Cosmic Gate, Signum, Sander van Doorn, Mauro Picotto and more? Sweet baby Jesus, that takes me back immediately! To me, I call it the 'ID&T Trance years', and these songs were on so many of their compilations, and played at their events. And I was a massive ID&T fanboy, that's for sure. And Trance was just better back then. Am I lying? I am preaching! Mauro Picotto - Lizard (Tall Paul Remix) Sander van Doorn - Riff Cosmic Gate - Fire Wire JamX & De Leon - Can U Dig It? Rank 1 - It's Up To You (Symsonic) (Instrumental Dub) Signum - Second Wave Brisky - Celestial (Original Mix) Nu NRG - Last Experience (Digital Nature Remix) Magenta - Twisted Spirit Saltwater - The Legacy (Alphazone Remix) I am a massive fan, and this takes me back. When my love for Trance music peaked, it was when these artists dominated the dance scene. You could not escape these tracks, as they were everywhere, and it has only left them permanently attached to me, and imprinted in my head for life. And you know what, I am happy that I'm alive and grew up with these songs. They are fabulous! The DJ who made this mix, has made a mix so good, and close to my heart. You might not have grown up with these songs, or this era of Trance music (you might have grown up with early 90s Trance, or current day Trance), but I did, and I'm so glad to have heard these songs played at the many events I've visited over the years. They are so damn good! And to find them in one mix, is always a bliss. I know each track, and have adored them since the first time I heard them. It is tricky to pick a favourite, as they are all excellent, but maybe 'Second Wave' by Signum can be considered my favourite, as it's a no-nonsense all time favourite Trance anthem to many, including yours truly. Another epic mix on an epic channel. Worth your time, go and check them out. Expect more of this awesomeness. Bring on Trance, and more of these excellent tunes. • Tiësto Live @ Dance Valley 02-08-2003

Who remembers Dance Valley? I certainly do, even though I've never been to one. It was always on my list, but it never came to fruition. It remains a wish to this day, even though the line-up doesn't appeal to me anymore. Maybe the early years were more my cup of tea, especially the years surrounding the Millennium. What I did do, was buy all the Dance Valley albums over the years, and listen to the livesets, which were broadcasted on Dutch radio. And one set I've found only a few days ago, did remind me of the glorious days of old. Sitting at home, listening to the radio, and recording sets on cassettes. Dancing in silence and with a massive headphone on, as we couldn't wake up mom and dad, who were asleep upstairs. I recorded a lot of sets, but unfortunately, time has not been pleasant to my cassettes. But I remember it like it was only yesterday, but deep down inside, you know it's 20 to 25 years ago. Not yesterday. I'm getting too damn old. Tiësto is obviously a legend, and his sets were extraordinary. Not a fan of his current stuff, but more of his late 90s to late 00s. Basically when he ruled the world. From this small DJ to a world wide phenomena, that was Tiësto. He changed the rules for all of us, and gave us countless sets, and the one you are about to listen to, was recorded at Dance Valley in 2003. I do remember hearing this set on Yorin FM (which used to be Veronica Radio back in the day), and hearing those horrendous bits every 5-10 minutes, reminding us who we were listening to, on which radio station. ''Fun'' times... (not really). Kay D. Smith & Marc Tall presents Passive Resistance - Praiseworthy Tunes (Hoipolloi Remix) Randy Katana - Fancy Fair Ton TB - Electronic Malfunction Cern - The Message (Northern Mix) Igor S - Boomerang (Igor S Remix) Tiësto - Flight 643 Ricky Fobis - No Regular William Orbit - Barbers Adagio For Strings (Tiësto Remix) Armani & Ghost - Airport A very short tracklist, but a very solid one. The set itself is only 45 minutes long, so I'm guessing it's not the full set (which is a pity). I can't remember how long the set was, but guessing that it was 2003, they must have done at least an hour set. Can't have the biggest DJ in the world do a 45 minute set, that's just ridiculous. Whoever took this recording, took it from the live broadcasting on Yorin FM. And you are reminded every so often who you are listening to and on which station. That's annoying AF. It ruins the atmosphere. And what also ruins the atmosphere, is the MC. Really not needed, kind of unnecessary, if you ask me. But the tracks in this set, they are golden. The golden years of Trance music, especially when it was this experimental. Even Tiësto went all out, and when needed, went a bit darker and rougher. But he always played the best tunes which were available at the time, and in this set, it has to be ''Electronic Malfunction'', one of the greatest songs of all time. A true Trance classic, one that goes on forever, and I wish it would continue for even longer, as it's an astonishing record. The radio recording ruins it slightly and the MC, but besides that, it's a solid set. And did the record skip during his 'Flight 643', or was it just poor recording? Who knows, eh? Take me back to 2003. The music was 10 times better, and non replaceable. The best. Just listen to this set. And if you want to go back to 2003 too, join the queue. • Thumpa pres. Dance Or Die! Vol 3 (1997 / 1998 Thunderdome Anthems) (2026)

It's Monday already. Where has the weekend gone? Truly astonishing how quickly time goes, especially when you are getting older and older. Valentines day only feels like yesterday, but it's now 2 days ago. Regardless, I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and that you were spoiled and you spoiled the one you love. And now, back to reality, and something I truly love. Hardcore music. It might not be your cup of tea, but it is certainly mine. But I do take mine with sweetener (maybe that's why I love Happy Hardcore?). DJ Thumpa started uploading some brand spanking new mixes, all dedicated to Thunderdome. There are now four mixes in this series, and they are gorgeous, to start with. I love the fact that the images he has used for each mix, use a distinctive look from a Thunderdome album from back in the day. The one you are about to listen to, shows Thunderdome 16, 17, and 20. They were great albums, but the decline was slowly visible. Obviously the earlier albums were better, but there were some hidden gems on these later Thunderdome albums. I did buy most of the Thunderdome CDs, and have listened to them ferociously. The 90s were my years, and during those years, I've driven many people mad with my obsession for Hardcore. And probably caused some ear damage by playing it out loud. Maybe too loud? Who knows. But how else can you enjoy Hardcore music? Not at minimum level, this needs to be played out loud. I could have picked any of the four mixes, but I've chosen this one, as the tracklist did something to me. Made me feel a bit excited inside. And that's what you want, right? Mister DJ - Completely Fucked Up (2nd Approach) DJ Sim - Simbiosis Cixx vs The Vinyl Junk - The Tough Guys Miss Flower - Mr. Randall Urban Menace - Phenomena Hardcore Brothers - Smoke Motherfuckers Rotterdam Terror Corps - We're Gonna Blow Your Mind The Masochist - No Newstyle? (DJ Buzz Fuzz Mix) Pino D'Ambini - Up & Down Ballz DJ Isaac - Another Dream Bodylotion - No Worries Leviathan - Yes, No Myztic vs Myrmidon - Pop Goes Da Pistol Buzz Fuzz - Frequencies Da Mindcrusher - Mindcrushing Scumbag - Hit The Crowd Buzz Fuzz - Fuck Happy (Its Bullshit!) 3 Steps Ahead - Money In My Pocket Shadowlands Terrorists - Shadowlands Anthem Bodylotion - Happy Is Voor Hobo's 3 Steps Ahead - Thunderscream (Thunder Anthem) Wow. I feel 25 years younger again. Or a bit more. Some of these songs are older than 25 years, and it makes me feel fucking old. Christ. Thanks Thumpa, for making me feel old. Old, but rejuvenated. This brings all my happy thoughts to the surface, and even though not many people around me share the same feelings regarding Hardcore from the 90s, as long as my inner self is happy and content. And I'm certainly content with everything after listening to this mix. It's a nice selection of records. A few lesser tracks, but hey ho, can't please everybody. But it has got the tracks in it which made me listen to Hardcore at max volume. 'Yes, No' is one of them. An underrated 90s gem. But the ones which makes me feel something, are definitely 'Tough Guys' and 'Simbiosis'. The bass on both tracks, it is just insane. I can make our whole house tremble with these two songs. Haven't played it in the car yet, but I reckon the speakers will be damaged, my eardrums too, and the windows will be shattered. A very pleasant mix to listen to. If these two years aren't your cup of tea, have a browse through the other 3 mixes on Thumpa's Soundcloud channel. Worth a listen to. Bring back the 90s Hardcore! Hardcore will never, ever, die. That's for sure! We all might age, but Hardcore never does, nor will it ever. Timeless music. • A State Of Trance Year Mix 2005 - Mixed By Armin van Buuren

The year is 2005, and I'm still living in the Netherlands. And I'm a massive music freak. My life changed during the early 90s, but during the 00s did my music collection grow in size. I got a steady job and made a decent wage, and my money was spent in my local CD store. Back in the day we had three in Heerlen, Limburg. It would either be a Van Leest CD store, a Free Record Store (but the records were never free, the bastards!) or the one that still remains, Satisfaction Records. Boy, did they make enough money out of me. Not sure in which store I found this CD, but it was one of these three. Hell, it could have even been at a petrol station (we did sell CDs back in the day, wasn't very successful). But regardless where I purchase this, it has remained in my head ever since. One of those Trance albums I've listened to ferociously over the years. And even though my perception on megamixes has changed over the years, in 2005 I was all over this. 82 records on two CDs. Couldn't go wrong, right? And it was mixed by Armin van Buuren. Anything Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, or Armin van Buuren was bought by myself. And even though I've heard of Armin before, this was my first CD. And what a glorious introduction into the 'A State Of Trance' world. I've not stopped listening to this since the day I purchased it, as the songs are so damn good. 2005 was a great year for Trance music, that's for sure. Remember, back in the 90s, megamixes were everywhere, and my views on them were great. Why hear a song which takes 7 minutes, when I can enjoy the highlights in 40 seconds? My view has changed over the years, and I'd rather listen to a full on extended song instead of a megamix. But I was still young and inexperienced. I'm now old, and inexperienced. And don't really know what I'm talking about. CD 1 Intro - What The Bleep Do We Know? What a wonderful megamix, and the tracks are insanely good. As said before, 2005 was a great year, and this shows why. Armin has selected an insane amount of records, mixed them all together, and voila: a State Of Trance Year Mix. The first of many. Obviously as a young lad, I would devour this, and thought megamixes were the dogs bollocks. Now I'm 21 years older and a tad wiser, and I still love megamixes, but I have to acknowledge that some snippets of songs weren't long enough. It makes me crave for more, I want to hear the full version of the song. So guess what I'll be doing after this review? That's right, listen to all of these, full versions only. It's a solid mix, and I truly admired it. Obviously now comes the time which is the most critical moment of the whole review: favourite record. And to make it slightly easier for me, I have split it into two: one from each disc. So let's start with the first one. Primer with 'Everlast'. Big anthem. Simple answer. But now the second disc. And I have to give it to one of my all time favourite Trance anthems, which is 'Close Horizon' by Thomas Bronzwaer. Fucking epic track, and not many tracks come close to the beauty that is this record. Only a handful of Armin van Buuren's CDs would follow, but this would remain my favourite CD of his. And one of 2005's finest CDs. If you are ASOT fan, which year mix is your favourite, and why? And if you owned this specific edition (the 2005 edition), which tracks were your favourite ones, and why? Leave a comment below! Can't go back in time, mankind isn't yet clever enough to figure that out. But at least we've got physical and digital versions of great CDs, which immediately takes us back to the long lost years! • Alex Threat's Valentine's Mixtape '26

Valentine's Day is tomorrow. The 14th of February. Millions of people have gone all out, and posted cards, booked a romantic dinner, or just bought each other presents. It's a romantic day, and I don't even know the true meaning behind it. Why the 14th of February? And why is it after the most depressing day so far of the year, Friday the 13th? Ah well, tomorrow it's all about love, and who you appreciate the most. You could share the love with whoever you love, and it doesn't need to be a partner. It could be a family member, a friend, or even an animal. Love, according to Love Actually, is all around. It certainly is. And the most love I have, is obviously for my wife. 17+ years together, many more years to come. But second to my wife, is music. She knows it, and she's cool with it. And even though I normally don't listen to lyrics (I'm an individual who just 'feels' the music), I thought I'd give Alex Threat's latest mix a go. It's a yearly thing, this Valentine's day mix. And I do believe I've heard most of his before. A pleasant surprise, and maybe a wake up call to a few out there: you need to get your loved one a nice present. You've got a few hours, and your local service station will sell a nice box of chocolates, and/or flowers. This mix contains records which you might consider to be romantic UK Hardcore tracks. The theme is love, in a wide range of emotions which are part of love (love can also go into other emotions). But they are all banging UKHC anthems, which could go down well on Valentine's day. Unless your loved one doesn't love UKHC, which my wife doesn't. This mix is unfortunately to no avail for her, and she will not appreciate it. Fuck it, as long as I appreciate it, and I certainly do! JTS & Technikore feat Lisa Marie - Only One Dougal & Gammer - Fires In The Sky (Fracus & Darwin Remix) JDM feat Marie Louise - Love Everlasting (Gisbo Remix) Helix - U R Everything (Klubfiller & Miss Special K Remix) Ramos, Supreme & MOB feat Mandy - Catch You (Re-Con Remix) RedMoon feat Meron Ryan - Never Let Go (Fracus & Darwin Remix) Dougal & Gammer feat Jenna - All The Tears I've Cried (JB-C Remix) Lethal Theory - Dirty Talk (Powerstomp Remix) Squad-E vs Dougal & Gammer - You U Eye I Michael Mansion - Another Notch (Dy5on Remix) Robbie-S & Ajaay vs Webbe - Satellite Kirsten Joy - Only Your Love (Re-Con & Unknown Remix) Beat Commander - Make You Mine (Supreme, UFO & MOB Remix) Styles & Breeze - You're Shining (Squad-E Remix) Darbo - Futuristic Lover Darren Styles & Francis Hill - Come Running Chris Unknown & Technikore - Let Me Go Nocturnal By Nature - 0800 Heaven Dougal & Gammer vs Hixxy - Dark Skies Darren Hotchkiss & Stu Infinity - Last Goodbye (Squad-E Remix) What a lovely tracklist. All of these records work well throughout the year on their own, but put into one mix, and released just before Valentine's day, that just makes it even better. A very romantic mix. And they are all dancefloor anthems. They make the dancefloor tremble, and maybe even some beds? The songs are all beautiful. Those vocal UK Hardcore songs just do it for me. Alex has picked yet another 20 amazing songs, including a few classics, and a few new ones I've not heard before. It's a very pleasant mix, and makes my dark heart actually feel something. He's made a stunning mix. A few small mixing errors, and I feel that sometimes the recording quality/volume is a bit down, but that's minor compared to the actual mix. I have to share the love, and I do appreciate this mix a lot. And certainly the tracks selected. There are a few, and I cannot choose a favourite out of these following records: ''Catch You'', ''Last Goodbye'', ''Never Let Go'', and ''All The Tears I've Cried''. They are magnificent records, that's for sure. If you haven't got anything for your partner, but your partner loves UK Hardcore, why not put this one on. Free, and it might get rid of any tension in the household (expecting gifts etc). This can be considered a gift to many, certainly to me. A wonderful mix with smashing records! Happy Valentine's day! • The Prodigy Experience 27th Anniversary Megamix (2019)

The Prodigy. A group well known, and much loved, all over the world. They are known everywhere around this massive globe, and they've been pushing boundaries since the early 90s. Their first album, released in 1992, was such a successful and ground-breaking album, it caught everyone by surprise. It is still loved and appreciated by so many, it is unbelievable to think that this album was released 34 years ago?! And even though it is 34 years old, it is still a fresh and exciting album. And of course I had to review this megamix, I simply had to. I am a fan of The Prodigy. And I'm not the only one. There are millions of us, all over the globe. But we all have our own opinions, which I truly admire. But in my honest opinion, their first album is certainly the best, closely followed by 'Music For The Jilted Generation'. And 'The Fat Of The Land' as third. The albums that followed, are OK, but they are not on the same level as the first three albums. Nothing can top the Prodigy's legendary 90s sound. How they shaped the rave scene, is beyond belief. They've been so influential to us all, and have given the raving community so many hours of music. And not only is their music something to look forward to, but also their live sets. Sold out so damn quick, but for good reasons. Dave Junglist decided to create a megamix, back in 2019, and all the tracks he used, are from the mighty 'Experience' album. It is such a wicked album, still one of the most played albums in my life. Top quality songs, and pushing so many boundaries of what we were capable of doing, back in 1992. The only thing he did, was rearrange the songs in the order suitable for this mix, and turn them all into one megamix. Don't let the ''27th anniversary'' alarm you, as this mix is 7 years old. The album is actually 34 years old now. Time does fly when you are having fun. We might age, but this album never has, nor will it ever age. It ages like fine wine (I believe, I'm not a wine drinker!) The Prodigy - Weather Experience The Prodigy - Jericho The Prodigy - Fire (Sunrise Version) The Prodigy - Music Reach (1/2/3/4) The Prodigy - Charly (Trip Into Drum And Bass Version) The Prodigy - Wind It Up The Prodigy - Out Of Space The Prodigy - Your Love (Remix) The Prodigy - Hyper Speed (G Force Pt. II) The Prodigy - Ruff In The Jungle Bizniz The Prodigy - Everybody In The Place (155 & Rising) The Prodigy - Death Of The Prodigy Dancer (Live) This still gives me goose bumps. What a fantastic album. I do believe that this album is a timeless masterpiece, and many would agree. Rave music's finest album, or at least one of them. The Prodigy gave us this album, and then tore us a new hole with their live performances. They are causing ear damage since 1992, that's for sure. Dave Junglist's mix is a very pleasant one to listen to on this Monday. We need something raw and rough to get us through the week ahead. But not raw, rough and unpleasant at the same time. On the contrary. This is a very pleasant listening experience. But an experience, nonetheless. All 12 records are amazing Maybe 'Weather Experience' the least appreciated one, but a highly praised one by yours truly. 8 minutes and 6 seconds long, but boy, does it take you on a journey. A beautiful masterpiece. A thought provoking record. Without words, it can make you feel a tad emotional, and you need to tap into those emotions. This is such a beautiful record. Slow and steady, always wins the race. The mix has got some minor errors. Nothing to worry about, but I thought I'd let you know. This mix reminds me: I should blow off the cobwebs of the album, and listen to it again. Or stream it somewhere. Time to relive the 90s again, and rave like never before. A true definitive album, one that defines rave. Youngsters might not know of this album, but the 'older' generation will do. The jilted generation, if you like.... • Promo | Thunderdome 2024 | Omega

A true Hardcore fan will know Thunderdome, and will also know the legendary location in Antwerp, called 'Sportpaleis Antwerpen'. It has held some amazing events back in the day, and for the die-hard fanatic, we've all devoured Thunderdome - Global Hardcore Nation, the actual live CD. Or is that just me? They've had some amazing events over the years, and last year, they had the honour of having Thunderdome, stretched over two days: Omega and Alpha. And the Omega side was solely focussed on the early stuff, which is my cup of tea. Alpha was more focussed on the 'newer' stuff, but give me Omega all day, every day! Franky Jones, Rob & MC Joe, Critical Mass, Buzz Fuzz, Leviathan, Panic & The Viper, Marc Acardipane, Ruffneck, Bass-D, Neophyte & Tha Playah, Ophidian, Lenny Dee, The Darkraver, and of course the main man, DJ Promo. A huge fan from the early days, I cannot resist seeing anything Promo related on Soundcloud or YouTube. And I'm blessed to have his Thunderdome 2024 set on both platforms. To return to such a magical place must have been amazing. I am jealous of those who witnessed either Omega or Alpha sets. Tickets sell out quicker than ever before. But that's for good reasons. Thunderdome is just dope AF. And they've been pushing the boundaries since day one. I do appreciate they give new artists a platform to perform their skills on, but I am one of those fans who reverts back to the 90s, when all these artists dominated my life. And of course the Hardcore scene. And Promo has been a top notch DJ and producer since day one. Obvious choice to have him perform. What did he play? Well, only the best! Bountyhunter - Whoops w/ Jones & Stephenson - The First Rebirth (Mashup) Promo - The First Rebirth Promo & X-Ess - Vicious Circle Promo - King Of Pain The Masochist - Killing Scum (Promo Meets Shaolin Mix) Catscan - The Agency Promo - Patterns In Chaos Hardcore Borthers - Lost Minds Promo - Among The Best G-Shock - Demons (Promo Remix) Promo - I Come Correct Promo feat Digital Boy - Serious Damage Promo - Airwalker (OMI Remix) Promo - Phreak Ya Speaka (N-Vitral Re-Phreak) Promo - Cold As Stone Promo - Falling In Love (With Music) (Gabber Mix) Promo - Cheating Bitch Promo - Wayz Of The Underground Promo feat Brian Acardy - Beat Ya Brain Again Promo - Shut Up! What a fantastic set. He always delivers, never disappoints. Promo is always the king, not just of pain, but of Hardcore. Come on, name me one individual who had this much success with at least 95% of their back catalogue, and whose tracks can be considered classics. Not many come close. Promo is ahead of them all, by a mile. He's the obvious choice to have a set at Thunderdome. Only a few days ago did I review his and Catscan's opening set at last year's Thunderdome, which was an epic set, but this one is even better. More Promo, the better. The tracks are solid as a rock. Not so much 'Airwalker', but the same logic applies here: it might have been because Thunderdome took place near Christmas. But it's not Promo's best song. But that's the only negative when it comes to Promo. The biggest negative, is the MC. Holy Christ, is he annoying. I still wonder why we have MCs just blurting out lines when no one needs them. A set like this one does not need any MCs: the crowd knows the songs, as they are all made by a legend himself. And the MC just ruins it a lot. Shouting ''DJ Promo'' does not help: everyone knows who's behind the decks. Can we just stop having MCs? They are as useless as toe fungus. Sorry for the short rant, but MCs aren't needed. You only need DJ Promo and his awesome back catalogue. And big ass speakers. Nothing more, nothing less. Oh, and of course wicked lights. Stroboscopes. But you know what I'm saying. I'm going out on a limb here, and I'm going to give 'Demons' the title of best record in this set. Pure banger, no nonsense. Promo's filthiest record (in this set). I truly love it. Can't give it 5 out of 5. The MC is just boring AF. • Chronicles of Progression Ep 3 (2025)

A few months ago, I discovered a new channel on Soundcloud, and it is run by someone who goes by the name Perky. Immediately my brain went there. The Pinky and Perky show. Granted, I'm guessing the name isn't based upon the TV show, but my mind went there. Where the TV show was dull and boring, this channel certainly isn't. I've jumped straight into the second instalment of his 'Chronicles Of Progression', and I've been hooked ever since. The second one got a review, and now it's time for the third one. I don't know what it is, but it seems that this year, so far, has all been about progressive House music. I've always been a fan, and I've listened to many mixes over the years, but I've been repeatedly been listening to Perky's mix (and others too). I just love to be extremely chilled, and when I am, my brain just goes places. And with this third instalment, he took it to the next level. A level I've not encountered before. I do seem to love these mixes. It kind of reminds me of Rigur Lárus and his chilled mixes (which you should also check out). Nice and very chilled: no days goes by without me going back to the third mix in this series. I could be stuck on the M25 or M1 (which are highways in the U.K., for those that don't know), or I need to do a job that I'm not willing to do. If I want my mood to change, I just put this one on, and I'm ready to tackle everything I need to do. And I do it with a huge smile on my face. At the same time, I probably drive everyone around me mad, as I listen to this at max volume. Passenger 10 - Nothing But You (Extended Mix) Thaddeus - Is This Real (Original Mix) Cosmic Ocean - Black Parameters John Creamer & Stephane K - I Wish You Were Here (Paul Thomas Extended Mix) Redspace & Martin di Sciascio - Subliminal Verses (Original Mix) Freefall feat Jan Johnston - Skydive (Paul Thomas & Bluum's Midnight Extended Mix) Trilucid - Kasamansa (Original Mix) Inon Bramy - Tears Of Angels (Skyhunter's Progressive Remix) Skyhunter - Tears Of Happiness (Original Mix) Trilucid & Brett Gould - The Purpose (Extended Mix) Orbital - Belfast (Yotto Remix) Boy, this is an emotional journey. From the first record to the last. You are going to enjoy this, and you'll thank me for sharing this with you all after. This mix starts with a fantastic record. What a way to start your mix with. And from that moment on, it's hit after hit after hit. Perky has made sure we stayed focussed, and our enjoyment level has gone through the roof. I think the first record set the tone for what is about to hit you. And it hits hard. Each record is highly enjoyable. These 11 records have been carefully selected, and mixed together beautifully, and the result is astonishing. If I were to hear these tunes and be on the dancefloor at the same time, I would be standing still. Eyes closed, hands in the air, and for a split second, I can imagine what Heaven feels like. That's the power behind this mix and the 11 anthems picked. Out of the 11 records, three are sublime. ''Nothing But You'' is breathtakingly beautiful. '''I Wish You Were Here'' astonishingly gorgeous. And ''Kasamansa'' an anthem that takes you to a higher level. It's another epic mix by Perky, and I'm glad I've discovered this series on Soundcloud. There are now 5 mixes in total out there, so if you are into this, make sure you jump onto his channel, and stream the fuck out of the others. I sure as Hell will. More of this, please. Pretty please! • DJ A.K. - 94-96 Hardcore Mix 10.01.26

It is Monday! Where has the weekend gone? It disappeared, and I didn't even realise it. Time has flown by too darn quickly, and I was just having fun. Now Monday is here, but thankfully by the time I finish this review, it should be nearly done. But the weather outside is grim, and very unpleasant. We need something to keep us going, and keep us bouncing up and down. Enter DJ A.K., a regular contributor to this page. Another day, another mix by this legend, and this time we are going back to 1994 to 1996. The golden years of Hardcore, right? I would certainly say so. I did grow up in another country, and the meaning behind the term 'Hardcore' is slightly different (people elsewhere might have called it Gabber). But in the UK, the term 'Hardcore' meant something completely different. And I love it. Most of these songs, selected by A.K., have got this Breakbeat vibe, and even though they weren't as populair as they should have been, I do still enjoy them a lot. 30 to 32 years later, these songs still sound amazing, and extremely powerful. I can imagine myself on the dancefloor, whisked away by these tunes, and being deafened by the whistle crew. And don't forget the horns! Thank God we did not have the vuvuzelas, that would have been even worst on the dancefloor: you would not hear a single thing at a rave with those bad boys. Let's go back in time, and let's hope it has got enough energy to get me through this week! 01. Moby - Feeling So Real 02. Storm Syndicut - Hold Me...In Your Arms 03. Slipmatt - Breaking Free (Ramos & Supreme Remix) 04. Frantic & Impulse - Spiced Up 05. Highlife - Is This Happiness? 06. DJ Seduction - Sample Mania 07. Justin Time & M Edward - Help Me 08. Crowd Pleasers Vol - Side B 09. Kriston - Gotta Get Up (Remix) 10. Sy & Unknown - Sudden Impact 11. Pooch & Hursee - Baby Baby 12. Rise & Shine - Loosing Control 13. Pooch & Coulter - Love Me Now 14. DJ Storm vs Rebel Alliance - Come Together 15. Vibena - Positive Energy (DJ Brisk Remix) 16. Edit V - Pumper 17. Slipmatt - Hear Me (Ramos & Supreme Remix) 18. Format - Cry For Love 19. DJ's Unknown Vol 5 - Side A 20. DJ Seduction & Dougal - It's Not Over 21 . Double Trouble - Moving To The Beat 22. Cartoon Capers - Dreema 23. Double Trouble - Everyday 24. Freestyle & DJ R - Madness (DJ Ham Remix) 25. Mercurial - Energy 26. DJ Red Alert & Mike Slammer - In Effect ( Slipmatt Remix) 27. DJ Demo - Power Of Love 28. Giro kid - Rainfall Fantastic. A serious mix, only for those who actually appreciated Hardcore from the mid 90s. Thankfully, I am one of those people who LOVES it, so it's never an issue with me. Give me 1994 to 1996, any day of the week, and I'll be happy. I'm not the only one who was happy about this mix. Someone actually contacted me, stating that DJ A.K. made a brand spanking new mix, and that she really loved it. Someone who goes by the name of KazAhston on Soundcloud. But I would have noticed this mix regardless, as it's a mix by DJ A.K., and his mixes are always dope. I do not think I've ever encountered a shitty mix, or a mix that bad. He always delivers. A true die-hard Hardcore fan, and he keeps us entertained. But it is nice to hear/see others being enthusiastic about these mixes, and in this case, DJ A.K. It is yet another epic mix. And it's also scary to think: is DJ A.K. in my house? I was only in my house the other day, going through some old tunes, and (no joke) I wanted to hear Moby's ''Feeling So Real''. And see what he put in this mix as the first record?! That's bizarre, right? It's not the best song, but it's certainly a wicked one. The best one has to be 'Energy' by Mercurial. What a blinding anthem. Can't get enough of this record. Worst track? 'Power Of Love'. Not a fan of the original, and this version does nothing to me. DJ A.K. has done it again. This man surely deserves all the praise for this mixes. He keeps on making them, pleasing us listeners. And he never stops. A true Hardcore fanatic, and a wicked DJ! Go and check out his Soundcloud page, if you haven't already! DJ: A.K.
