Today I'm in a good mood. I don't know how, but the weather is not a contribution to the happiness. It's raining, it's dreadful to say the least, and yet at days like this one I would like to go back to the Summer, and embrace everything that happened in our sunny Summer. One of the biggest events in the world took place in Belgium, called Tomorrowland. Ever heard of this event? Of course you have, a true electronic dance lover knows about this event. A sell out event, for which many people save up money for it a year in advance. But it's an experience, to say the least.
One of the thousands of acts there was Cosmic Gate. One of the world's greatest Trance duos. Playing at the Freedom stage, hosted by ASOT. And what happened during their set? Well, it was expected they would play the finest records in their back catalogue, and the result is an hour of pure bliss. Melodic Trance, with a hint of Techno. What's not to like? And many agreed with me: you can hear the crowd loose it. And when they do, the noises they made can be heard clearly throughout the live recording. Cosmic Gate, they do know how to play a devilishly good set.

During this set Cosmic Gate demolishes many speakers and many brain cells. I have really enjoyed myself during this live recording. I might have been sitting at home being nice and dry, but I still raved my arse off. Cosmic Gate seemed to have re-ignited my passion for Trance music.
There are simply too many great anthems to mention selected by this majestic duo. I can not describe the power of each record! I had a difficult task to select my favourite, but closely followed are 'Fall Into You', 'YEAH!', but the best and baddest motherfucking record they have used in their hour long set has got to be their remix of 'L.E.D. There Be Light'. This is a true Trance gem! This takes you to a higher state of conciousness. I have raised my hands way up in the air.
I can not describe how I was feeling throughout this set. But what I do have to say is that their set has got to be one of the finest of 2018. Well, judging the amount of livesets I have heard throughout 2018. They just seem to create such a wicked atmosphere, and get the crowd going. This is one of those sets you need to experience before you pass away. Cosmic Gate, true legends, true pioneers, and masterful producers!
