Ibiza Anthems 2026 Part 1

What a day it has been! I cannot describe it. I've been working non stop since 6am, and it's now getting to 6pm. I was expecting hectic, but this became hectic on a different level. It made the day go by quicker, but it still left me with a lot of work to do. I've done as much as I physically could, but now it is time to unwind, and relax. And when it comes to music, I've been very chilled today. I had a mix on, with Ibiza anthems. No hard stuff, but very mellow stuff. Maybe that's what made my day more hectic, as I'm used to harder music?

I initially thought it was going to be jam packed with the classics, but this mix contains records I've not heard before! And I'm not kidding: 20 records, I've not heard any of these before. Maybe that's got something to do with the fact that I've also not been to Ibiza, so I wouldn't know what's 'hot' in the clubs. I just clicked on this mix, and it has been by my side throughout the day.

It's given me mellow vibes, and not a lot of energy. Maybe that's what I actually needed. But it was pleasant to listen to. Sometimes you need something more relaxing to guide you. cunny_mixes' mix certainly got me through the day, and the weather has also been suitable for this mix. Temperatures are acceptable, not too hot or cold, just perfect. But is this mix perfect for you?

I am not familiar in that scene anymore, and I only recognise two names. So I can't judge anything but the music.

It has been a pleasant mix to listen to. Without ever been to Ibiza, I can imagine this going down extremely well there, for some strange reason. It is chilled, and easy to listen to. Good music to hear when the sun goes down, or comes back up. Not too vigorous. Just the right speed.

But is this mix for me? Well, yes and no. It is nice to listen to, but the tracks aren't sticking in my head for long. They are 'long lasting' records, if that makes any sense. Heard them once, and that's it. The mix is good, don't get me wrong, but the songs are anthems perse. Good for a night out, maybe that's a better phrase to use.

Maybe I was expecting to hear the classics. They are on a different level, that's for sure!

It did make me feel a tad mellow, so credit where credit is due. And now it's time for the laptop to unwind, including its user!

Best record? 'Mystery Of Raw'.
