Masters Of Hardcore Mix (2013)

Welcome to Tuesday, Hardcore day. I don't know if that's a genuine thing, but it must be a specific day of the week when it is indeed official Hardcore day. If it isn't today, well, sod you then, go somewhere else. But for now, let's pretend it is indeed Hardcore day, and we all need a bit of Hardcore on this slightly warm Tuesday. What kind of music do we prefer? Any specific label or style do you prefer? If you prefer Masters of Hardcore, you are in for a treat!

I went browsing on Soundcloud a few weeks ago, and I stumbled across this mix. A MoH mix, made by someone called Meister Jogi. It doesn't appear to be an active account on Soundcloud: someone who made three mixes, and vanished of Soundcloud. That's cool. Short and sweet. That's also the nickname of my penis, but that's a completely different story.

The mix is short, but sweet. A few well known MoH anthems. And that's all I can say right now. Time for you to look at the tracklist, and enjoy the anthems in this mix. There's nothing more to be mentioned: don't know the DJ, so that limits the length of this review.

So, did anyone say tracklist?

  • The Viper & Nosferatu - Who We Are

  • The Viper & Evil Activities feat MC D - The Highest Ace

  • Tha Playah - Clockwork

  • T-Junction & Rudeboy - Cosmic Dreamer

  • State Of Emergency - Addiction

  • Rudeboy & Kid Morbid feat MC Syco - Take The Power

  • Re-Style - Keep The Vibes Alive (Korsakoff Remix)

  • Razzle Dazzle Trax - Rattlebrain (Korsakoff Remix)

  • Rayden - Push The Button

  • Outblast - Bassleader (Official Bassleader Anthem)

I told you it was short and sweet. 10 records in 46 and a 1/2 mix. That's all. But it should satisfy us, and fulfil our daily dosage of Hardcore. Thanks Meister Jogi for this, whoever you are.

The tracks are well known, big dancefloor anthems. Why do I keep saying dancefloor? It's more like stage killers, or big arena destroyers. These anthems do destroy a lot of eardrums at big festivals. Certainly those events we cannot visit at the moment. Fuck COVID.

Anyway, got nothing more to mention: good mix, good records. Best record? Well, got to give that to Tha Playah with 'Clockwork'. So catchy, so hard, and so good.

Maybe one side note: the recording quality sucks slightly. And a few cross fading sections aren't spot on.

Check this mix out right now!
