The other day I was listening to a set by Rooler, and one of the tracks in it, 'Mutants', made me want to look up more Delete stuff. I was aware of his unfortunate passing back in 2022, but what I wasn't aware of, was his huge catalogue! I never had the opportunity to fully discover his whole catalogue, but thankfully there are plenty of mixes online, commemorating the legacy he has left behind. And one of those mixes was made by MELVJE back in 2022, the year in which Delete passed away.
Not only is his music legendary, but he has also played at the biggest events imaginable. Defqon.1, Intents Festival, Dance Valley, Ground Zero, Loudness, QAPITAL, Q-Base, Hard Bass, Dominator, and the list goes on. Quite an impressive list, but if you know the music he produced, you know he was the right person to be booked. I never had the opportunity to witness Delete, but it must have been a wicked set, wherever he played.
His records are insane. Again, I knew a few records, but not ALL of them. MELVJE made this dedication mix, and it's 6 hours long! That's seriously impressive. After 3 hours I needed a quick break from listening, as my head was about to explode, but I only needed 10 minutes to come back to this mix, and finish the rest of it. It's the same as going to an event, right? You always need some time out, to come back and continue raving.

This has been a tremendous journey through the amazing catalogue. Delete has released many songs on his own, but also alongside well established names in the scene. He was well loved by so many, and his unfortunate passing has left a mark on the scene. But his legacy remains ongoing, until eternity. We won't stop listening to Delete.
It is a very long sitting, this mix. 6 hours. You need to find a slot in your daily life to sit through this, but it's worth it. The quality of the records is insane, and within the few years he was active in the scene, he has proven that he's capable of demolishing many speakers. My car speakers dislike this kind of music, and the door panels do tremble a lot. But my opinion is: if you don't like it, you should not have been a door panel.
MELVJE has made a fitting tribute to a legendary artist, and I wish I had seen him. But at least we still have his music, and his music is really cool. So many favourites in this mix. There are 138 records, there's bound to be at least one you like. Probably more chance of you liking more than just one.
To me, it's the one that follows me wherever I go. 'Mutants', remixed by Malice & Rooler. That track is one of the best records ever made. The original is cool, but this remix just hits all the spots. And it's undoubtfully one of the greatest songs ever made.
