Sometimes you just want to hear one artist. Just one. No music from others. Several times throughout each year I've got a Noize Suppressor moment. And yesterday was such a day. I had to listen to Noize Suppressor. How come, you might ask? Well, I went into my Hardcore folder and started to play random records. And a few of them were Noize Suppressor songs. Which made me happy again. This dark kick/bass magician has always been one of my favourite producers.
I found a mix on Soundcloud, a dedication mix by D-Element, made last year. And by the looks of it, it's a good 'un. An hour long mix, with 40 records made by Noize Suppressor (and friends, like Mad Dog, Angerfist, Lenny Dee, Satronica, Mouth Of Madness, Rob Gee and more). And for me that's exactly what I was after. Could have picked a set from the legend himself, but I reckon I have listened to nearly all of his sets on Soundcloud already. And this is a fresh new approach to Noize Suppressor. He deserves a dedication/appreciation mix. But is it any good? Is it enjoyable? We will find out!

That nearly killed my fingherz (see what I did here?). So many Noize Suppressor's in one mix, is that a good thing or a bad thing? If you love his music, there's no denying in the fact that it's ALWAYS a good thing to hear Noize Suppressor. If you disagree and do not appreciate it, what are you still doing on my website? I do admire Noize Suppressor. On top of his game for many years. I don't know when it actually was, which year it was I got introduced into his music. But in D-Element's mix it does contain the records which got me into his music. 'Fingherz', 'Bone Crusher' (obviously one of his biggest records from the early days). 'Pain Killer', ' Bike's Drum'. I don't know which was the first record I heard, but I suggest that it was 'Bone Crusher'. Whatever it was, it has stayed with me (his music) and I've been a fan ever since.
Am I a fan of this appreciation mix? Hell yeah! D-Elements has made a wonderful and exciting mix. The records he picked are ALL wicked. Some are even better than others. But in all fairness, the underlaying beat and bass is recognisably Noize Suppressor, and for me that's the thing that attracks me to his music.
I can't point out a weakness. Only point out my favourite record. Which is ' Masters Of War '. Good and bad memories I've got when I hear this anthem. A good car record (if you've got good speakers), one nearly deadly record I actually listened to when it resulted in a car accident. Well, if I go, at least I go with banging music.
Give this mix a go. I have, and it didn't disappoint me.
