Sharing is caring. And it is always nice to rear people's comments on our website. We've been doing it for years, and every so often we are contacted via multiple sites, like Soundcloud. And the mix you are about to listen to, was shared with me by the maker, DAEV. He left some nice comments behind, and just wanted me to listen to this mix. Not requiring a review, but that kindness has made me want to review it even more!

I do not know anything about DAEV, or what the mix represents. I do like the title 'RAYDIA', and the image used for this mix looks cool. But the inside is what counts, and if you didn't spot the word 'Trance' in the image above, let me tell you: this mix is full of Trance anthems. An hour long, and 11 records. The perfect amount. And the mix is not too long, and also not too short. So let's have a butcher, see what's in store for us?

I am a fan of Trance, but not always do I remember all the names of all the artists and their songs. I'm quite crap with names, especially from tracks released over the last 10-15 years. I can remember most 90s records, but the newer stuff, it's like there's no space left in my brain to add more info to it. Thankfully, when a mix does come with a tracklist, it can help me. And sometimes it can revoke a lost memory, and bring back certain feelings I had for a track. I'll explain what I mean, after the tracklist:

Will Atkinson - Last Night In Ibiza
Chris Metcalfe - Espalmador
Goldenscan - Sunrise (Pulser 6AM Remix)
Rob-Z - Daybreak (Tony Hang Extended Remix)
Mea Culpa - The Child (Alan Banks Extended Mix Reconstruction)
Scott Ramsay - Equanimity
Lostly - Came Here To Forget
Indigo - Atlantis
Nitrous Oxide - Stardust
Will Rees - Natural World
Simon Patterson - Us

This does look good, doesn't it? An hour of Trance music? Couldn't wish for anything else at the moment, and truth be told, that's all I've been seeing on Soundcloud. Trance mix after Trance mix. It's like my personal preferences have changed, and all I can see (and hear) is Trance. And, for once, I'm happy about that!

I'm glad that DAEV shared this mix with me. It's a tremendous mix. From the first to the last record, it is slammer after slammer. And two records stood out the most: 'Atlantis' and 'Us'. I completely forgot the track 'Us' existed, only for a while. A few years ago it was my go-to record, and then it got buried under a lot of other amazing records. Thanks to mixes such as this one, I can relive those glorious moments again, and remember how awesome that specific track was, and still is.

And mixes like this one bring more records to the forefront, like 'Atlantis' . Not heard that one before, but I'm really liking it.

DAEV, a remarkable mix. I would like to see and hear more of these awesome mixes. Maybe a volume 2, 3, 4 and so on? You don't need 66 hour long mixes with a billion records: you just need the right records, and an hour will do. Like this one. Superb mix! Highly recommendable!
