Those who aren't at home right now, are probably enjoying themselves at Decibel 2018. This three day event is one of the biggest and coolest events in the Netherlands, and as one news headlight quoted yesterday (AD.nl): there were already massive traffic jams around Decibel Outdoor. And there's a good reason for it: b2s knows exactly how to throw an excellent party, and have been doing that for many years. A key player in the hard dance scene, a true hard dance fanatic does not need to be introduced to Decibel, because everyone already knows. We all know this cool event just dominated everything!
One of the acts playing there (well, technically speaking two) made a nice warm-up mix, which makes me feel so shit at the moment: I'm not going. I'm not dancing/raving amongst the tens of thousands of people, and not enjoying the music coming from each angle. So not a warm-up for me, but I still had to share this with you all. To those staying at home. Sorry about that.

Now, the tracklist. You see, I listen to everything, so I'm not good with names, or sometimes even following one specific style, and I sometimes loose touch. In this instance, I have lost touch when it comes to Hardstyle. I know the names of the artists (well, most of them) but not the records. But it's all about the strength of the music, and Repeller and Cryex have made a very cool looking mix!
These two names, whoever they might be, have sparked my interest in them. This is such a wicked mix, with the dopest records (even though half of the records are TBA). If you are at Decibel right now, enjoy it as much as you can. This event has got the finest acts, and I would suggest you check these two out too. If they play as they have done for this mix, they are a force to reckon.
A bit of everything is in this mix. Hardstyle, Rawstyle, and Hardcore. And as we all know, these styles blend in beautifully. And even though I'm a raver and love Hardcore, in this mix the Hardstyle selection did the most for me. Especially 'Moment Of Truth'. What a euphoric track! True words spoken as well!
