Monkey Kong is back with a brand spanking new mix. A new mix, with classic Hardstyle anthems. And we all love those anthems, don't we? Yes, the scene in 2020 is still vibrant and alive, but the early sound will never leave our side. It's part of our history, and has given us so many great anthems. Judging Monkey Kong's statement on Soundcloud, there will be more mixes to follow, staying on this oldskool path. Which is going to be great. Again, who doesn't like the early Hardstyle sound?
The mix is an hour and a half long, and with 47 records, I know you all will be pleased. And why wouldn't you be? This is not my first Monkey Kong mix, I've listened to a few so far, and have not been disappointed yet. And before you all start yapping on about nothing,I am an early sound connoisseur, and I know what I'm talking about. I grew up listening to Hardstyle when it emerged after the Millennium, and spent a lot of money on CDs, most of them Hardstyle CDs. So yeah, I am not disappointed today: I've already checked this mix out several times, and have found it extremely good.

This is a wicked mix. Good job, Monkey Kong. These are truly classics. Boy oh boy, the memories. It's like a flashback. Oh wait, that's the title of this newly created mix series. Ah I see, that's why it's named that way.
The mix contains a lot of reoccuring names, such as Wildstylez, Headhunterz, and more. But to be fair, they have been dominating the scene for quite a while now. But it's nice that Monkey Kong added a few obscure and forgotten about anthems in here. Obviously the majority of records I knew and cherrished, but some I've completely forgotten about! That's the main reason why I listen to a lot of oldskool mixes: it always takes you back, and reminds you of all the awesome stuff released, and forgotten about.
I've got only love to give to this mix. Obviously you don't get full length anthems, but short versions, but they are still long enough for you to become highly excited. And Crypsis' 'Torture' has done that to me. What a wicked and brilliant anthem. Time for me to dig through my collection and find the full length version.
