Satan. Or The Satan to be precise. The ultimate lord of darkness. I've been seeing a lot on Facebook lately regarding this underworld God, and I have been intrigued from the first moment. Don't know much about him, besides the fact that he's an evil looking guy, and the fact that he has played in several South Park episodes (or was that a different Satan?). Anyway, whoever is behind the scary looking mask, he's an upcoming name in the scene, and only 5 days ago his album teaser was released, and it's nearly touching 10k plays. People are going mad for it.
When I heard this mini mix for the first time, it blew me away. The sheer quality and yet darkness to it, I do love that. This mix of Hardcore and Drum and Bass and Industrial Hardcore leads to a unique album. The sheer uniqueness of this album is beyond belief. He goes and does his own thing, which makes him unique. From time to time it might sound rough, but still pleasing.
So what can you expect to find on this album? 10 record. Well, nine solo records and one collaboration with Thrasher. And as the Soundcloud info mentions: "Pounding Hardcore Kicks, crushing snares and a ton of audio violent filth..." If that doesn't persuade you, what will?

B1: The Satan - You Are Sick
B2: The Satan - Cyborg
C1: The Satan feat Thrasher - Our Hell

09. The Satan - My Game (CD & Digital Bonus)
10. The Satan - I Am The Darkness (CD & Digital Bonus)
You know an album is going to be good, when the mini mix accompanied for it blows your socks off. And I have been listening to this more than is healthy. The Satan has got a power over me. The Lord of Darkness has risen, and his demonic powers are unlimited. Once you press play, you know there's no stopping it, and you will be intoxicated. As they mentioned on Soundcloud: All hail The Satan.
Don't worry to those who are extremely religious. You can still listen to this, without loosing your faith. But it will be a struggle. And it's a struggle I am willing to undergo. Experiencing this type of filth is really my cup of tea. This Hardcore/Industrial Hardcore kind of music has always intrigued me since its early days, and now The Satan has put himself and his music on the map, and his legacy has been stamped into our minds forever.
This is a must have album. Especially the way he made these records. Quality over quantity. I am really feeling each record. Even the one with a guitar section in it (normally I dislike that kind of Hardcore, but it seems to work beautifully).
The best record in this mix? 'You Are Sick'. That's the one that does the most damage. What a load of filth. And it has actually made me sick. Thanks, Dark Lord.
I can't point out any weaknesses or fails. I'm normally not really fussed about albums, but this is one I do need. It will be released on the 9th of November on PRSPCT Recordings, so put it in your diary.
