I am not Irish, and I hope you have realised that before reading this review. I am a crazy Dutch person, not Irish. I am as Irish as you an alien. If you are an alien, welcome to planet Earth, I am humbled that you are reading my review, but it also raises a question: why are you reading this review? So the most likely answer is you are not an alien. But I am aware of the Irish culture and St. Paddy, but never experienced it myself. I'm guessing it's similar to Dutch Kings Day, everyone wearing the same colour and getting wasted, right?
But what I do know is that they love to party, and guess what is happening on the 17th of March 2023? A party! Yes, you are so freaking clever! And the line-up is good looking (here are just a few names): Fracus & Darwin, Cally, Ed ET, Jakka-B, Kaylene Sc@r, Rob IYF, and many more. Reincarnated and TopKat are also performing at this event, and they made this promo mix, to get everyone hyped up for this event!
It's been a while since I last reviewed a promo mix for a UK Hardcore event. And I forgot how 'short' they are. Most of them are roughly 30 minutes long, and this is might be a bit longer than that, but too short for my liking. I need a bit more. Yes, I'm not easy to please, the wife says the same thing to me every single day.
But within those 33 minutes you do get the finest records, and some I've not heard in a long time. So, if you are into UK Hardcore, know the label Scarred Digital, and you live around the Bristol area, and you have nothing to do on the 17th of March, why not go out and have some good old fashion fun?

Oh, I love myself a bit of the old Scarred Digital sound! I forgot how many years this label has been active, and how much of a fan I was at the start! Sc@r just ruled everything! And even to this day do I appreciate the 'early' sound from this label, and their view on UK Hardcore. So happy, so cheerful, so euphoric. Love it.
TopKat & Reincarnated have done a great job in composing this promo mix for this St. Paddy event, and if you are into UK Hardcore and maybe of Irish descent, you might want to visit this rave. It's got some good DJs and good music. Don't know about the drinks, hopefully they cater to the people who go mad on St. Paddy's day?
The tracks are good, and the mix is good. I was going to give one of Sc@r's songs the title of my most favourite song in this mix, but I give it to Technical Difficulties' 'Fires Burning'. Big track that!
