It is Saturday, and it's boiling hot. Not just because of this mix, but in general. The temperatures have gone up after a few OK days, but now they are back to the low 30s. And it's windy at the same time. So no party in the garden, nor a party indoors. Unless you've got a pool. In that case, go bonkers! Have a blast, have a party. And I've got the perfect mix for your pool party, one I've been listening to since 8am. You can thank me later.

It's a mix by TranceAdikt. But truth be told, aren't we all addicts? Addicted to Trance music, right? Unless you are a die-hard hater of Trance. I don't envy you. How can you live your life without knowing the beauty, the harmonious, the glorious Trance anthems? I couldn't, and wouldn't want to imagine a world in which I could not hear Trance music at all. That would be a living hell for me. Truth be told, it's not my most favourite genre (which is Hardcore), but Trance is second.

I found this mix on the TranceFormerz Soundcloud channel (funny wordplay, love it), and there's a lot more where that came from. I think they are up to the sixth instalment of this series, but they've got so much more to offer. The reason why I chose this mix, is because it contains the word 'Anthems'. And I do love me some great Trance anthems. And according to the title, it's got 'the anthems'. I am curious, and want to see/hear more. Here's the tracklist, if you are curious too!

I thoroughly enjoyed these anthems. But, before we proceed, I had a different 'anthem' in mind when I read the title. They are still solid as a rock though, don't get me wrong. But a different kind of anthem. Hey ho, at least it got me through today, and hopefully it will do the same to you.

I've got to be honest, not heard the majority of these songs before. And I wish I did not hear the 'Nothing Compares 2 U vs Airwave' song. Christ, that isn't my favourite song. It's the complete opposite. All the tracks are good, but that one isn't my jam. It kind of sucks. Sorry Ronski Speed, but that's not a good song. On their own, yes. Blended together, no.

The one track that I really liked, is untitled. It's the last record in this mix. I'm guessing the title is 'Yeke Yeke', but that track really does something to me. Reminds me of the original, and the original is a dope ass song.

TranceAdikt has made a very interesting mix. One minor song, but don't let that put a downer on the whole mix. It's just one song, and you are getting 21 in total! Hell, maybe you will even like the one I didn't. Just close your eyes and enjoy this mix, and let the Summer of 2025 hit you hard!
