It's Thursday, office time. But in the office you can do two things: listen to your colleagues talking louder than normal, or listen to music. Still performing though, not saying you shouldn't be do anything when listening to music, but I always perform 100 times better with music perforating my eardrums. And that's only a personal preference though. You might like the noises around you. But if you don't, and you want to listen to something cool, hear me out!
It's not a brand spanking new mix. It's an oldie, and by old I mean 5 years old. It's not really that old, but some might be thinking 'this isn't a new mix', and those people will get the following response: ''you are absolutely right, well done Sherlock''. This has already been listened to quite a few times, and for some it's not new, but a reintroduction into this mix, which was made by Scope DJ for Scantraxx Records.
Scope DJ, a well known producer and DJ, has made this mix, and I had to remind myself what he had made in the past. So I went to Discogs, and found that he's not had releases for a good few years, which seems a shame. During the 2000s and early 2010s he was on it, like a car bonnet. If you want to know what it sounded like, don't worry: Scope DJ has got your back. He made sure that the classics were in this mix, and also a few of his own productions.

Wow. I can't speak at the moment. I am... speechless. What a brilliant looking tracklist. And it's also a mix you don't want to pause at any stage, but seeing as I'm not WFH but working in the office, I will be disturbed...aaaarghh, the hassle!
I am kidding, as you can tell. I do love my work, but I do prefer to hear music. So as long as I can listen to this mix (with or without being disturbed), I'm happy as Larry.
This mix is really tight, and Scope DJ has done a marvellous job 5 years ago. He's made a very awesome mix, and the two hours will fly by. You've got 28 of the finest Hardstyle anthems from 2007 to 2011. Not the early early stuff, but still cool enough. And you can tell by just looking at the tracklist who dominated during these years.
So many memories, so many hours spent on the dancefloor, listening to these anthems. I feel young again.
It was difficult to pick one record, but I choose the last one. 'Warphole'. A timeless masterpiece by Frontliner!
I might be 5 years too late, but I'm enjoying it in 2022. See you in another 5 years, I might review the other Scope DJ mix then?
