Sunday should be a chill day, and to be fair, the weather is really good . A heat wave is happening all over the globe, and people are enjoying the heat. I am not. I hate the heat, I do love the cold temperature. Rain and cold? Yep, that's me. Hence why I am sitting indoors, next to a very expensive and noisy fan, just to stay out of the sun. And whilst doing that, I'm sitting here, enjoying the Breakbeat Hardcore tunes coming through my speakers. Life is great, yeah?
The temperatures might be hot, but so is the music. We don't hear that style too often. But when we do, it's always great. And the good thing is, that it's music we all like. No one really dislikes it, right? Breakbeat Hardcore is sadly underrated, but oh so good. Piano anyone? If Mozart would have been alive right now, he would have been listening to Breakbeat Hardcore, trust me.
The mix you are about to listen to, was made by Amaretto. I thought that this was an Italian drink of sorts, but it turns out it's a DJ. And due to COVID he couldn't play his set on the 2nd of August, at wherever the above location is (you can see it on the flyer). I am guessing Japan? The music is good. What would you expect? It's bloody Breakbeat Hardcore. And I think the only reason I came across this mix, is because of my Greek friend, who keeps on reposting everything Breakbeat related. Otherwise I would have missed this awesome mix. Thanks Gl0wkid for this mix.
Anyway, Amaretto. Not just a drink, but also a DJ. And this mix is really something special. I've really enjoyed this set a lot, and I do mean it. I've been listening to this mix over and over again over the last few hours, and it has literally been on my mind. The music is good, and the mixing is also spot on.
Only credit for this DJ. Really enjoyed this mix. We need more of this.
Now comes the easiest thing for me, the best track of this mix. And it has to be 'Crowd Control', an all time classic. Big anthem.
