BrunkEvents Podcast #2 By DJ Casketkrusher (2020)

I am not sure what Brunk Events is, and others might have to fill me in, but I went on their Facebook page, and under the 'About' section, it's all in German. So anyone (preferably Germans), could you maybe help me? I'm guessing that's it's an online platform for DJ's, newcomers or professionals. It's focussed on the harder styles, like Early Hardcore, Terror, Speedcore, Frenchcore, Raw, and more. So, guess what kind of music we are about to listen to?

That's right, the best music out there! Hardcore. Made by Casketkrusher. And secretly I adore him. We all know that. No reason to hide it anymore. Casketkrusher is my hero. An upcoming talent, who should get more recognition for his work. One who brings the Early sound back to life. And when I say the Early sound, I do mean the Early sound.

He keeps on producing excellent anthems, all with a twist. You do recognise certain sounds from older tracks, or the way they were composed. Casketkrusher has mastered his craft, and has made it into an art form. Not many out there focus much on the Early sound, and make it work well. There might be a few, but Casketkrusher's back catalogue is too impressive to sweep it under the rug.

Someone who keeps the Early sound alive, and makes it work extremely well, gets my recognition, and gratitude. I am in awe with the music he creates. He might have been too young when Hardcore was created during the early 90s, but he has certainly got the producing vibe. If he was active during the Early days, he would have been an extremely successful producer, trust me. This kind of music would have suited the Hardcore era beautifully. A spot on a Thunderdome CD? Easily done. Happy Hardcore CDs? Yeah, he would have been on there.

I just love his dedication to this unique sound. And when I discovered this mix, I jumped straight on it. And as you would expect, it's packed with his own stuff. Just sit back, press play, and let the Early sound take you into another dimension. Embrace Casketkrusher.

And I think you should, if truth be told. Why? Well, you love Early Hardcore, right? So why not check this out?

I get this vibe whenever I listen to a Casketkrusher mix. It just takes me right back to the 90s. Full on Early Hardcore mode from the get go. You obviously need to have a passion for the early sound, of course, otherwise this mix might sound extremely boring, and old. If you are a fan of the present day Hardcore and have not discovered the glorious early sound, you might not like it at first, but trust TCD, I do urge you to give this a go.

Casketkrusher is a legend. I would go as far as to say that he's my favourite Early Hardcore/Happy Hardcore producer at the moment. So you can imagine that I will give this mix a thumbs up. A big thumbs up. And if you are interested in this kind of music, why not check the man out on Soundcloud? He's got so many great songs on there. Hours of fun.

A wicked mix. I would not have expected anything less. He's a legend. He's took the sound, crafted it into something beautiful, and has given me, this old Hardcore nutter, hope. Hope that the Early sound has not died, and will never die. And that's a comfort I am happy to live with.

If you want to check out more mixes like this one, why not check out Brunk Events' Soundcloud page. They've got plenty of mixes, all focussed on the harder styles. So go mad, and check them out.

Also, the best record in this mix has to be 'Buzzin''. Proper Happy Hardcore vibes. Loving it!
