It is a new day, and a new mix has emerged on Soundcloud. A mix I wasn't ready for, but I now highly recommend, and appreciate. I do love myself some Millennium Trance anthems, especially when they are vocal anthems. And the year 2001 has always been a big year for me. It was the start of a new journey, a Trance journey. I do love myself a bit of Trance, especially when Hardcore music was going underground. I needed something to fill the gap, and Trance was exactly there for me, at the right time.
This brings me to today's mix. It's made by someone called CARBS. Not much is mentioned underneath the mix, only that this mix contains tracks from around 2001, and they are vocal trance songs. All vinyl. Well, that's good enough for me. The less info, the better. More focus on the music, and it's music from that glorious year 2001 (thereabout).
I did buy a lot of CDs back in the day, and I truly adored the music. And to find a mix that takes me back in time in an instance, is just amazing. CARBS' mix is 97 minutes long, but it's got the tracks I grew up with, and even a few I've not heard before. A nice mixture, but all anthems from back in the day.
Can't believe these tracks are roughly 22 years old! They haven't aged at all, and that's a good thing!

It's got some epic anthems in here. Boy, this is certainly a throwback mix filled with classics. And 2001 was indeed a brilliant year: just look at these anthems. JUST LOOK AT THEM.
I can go full on beast mode and dissect all tracks, but there's no need for it, as there's only one anthem that stands out from the rest, because Push is involved. The Space Brothers' 'Everywhere I Go'. Come on, what a wicked track. It's got that distinctive Push sound I truly adore. A fantastic build up, and the end result is a timeless Trance classic masterpiece.
CARBS' mix is a wicked one. Haven't checked out his page yet, but hopefully there are more mixes like this one on there, as I now need my daily vocal Trance fix. Hopefully there are more.
I can't complain about this mix. It's got everything I need, and more. Let it take over your Thursday, and appreciate it as much as I have!
