DuMonde, a.k.a. JamX & De Leon. These names still resonate in my head, and they've been part of my youth during the years when Hard Trance dominated my life. I still love Hard Trance, but nothing can compare to the sound coming out of the scene around the Millennium, and that's when DuMonde was active, and destroying speakers all over the world. They came, they saw, and they certainly conquered. Their songs have stayed with me for decades after they had been released, and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to hear their songs being played at events. Unfortunately never saw them live, but at least their music was everywhere I went.

And I'm happy for that. DuMonde were everywhere. On every compilation I bought. And I've bought many. The most memorable one, to me, was ID&T's own range of Trance CDs , which was called 'ID&T Trance'. Not very imaginative, but at least you knew where you stood. But also the 'Bitte Ein Beat', that was an awesome collection. And there have been plenty more. DuMonde ruled the Hard Trance scene, that's for sure.

Their music appealed a lot to me. We are now 20+ years later, and I'm still in love with their songs. Rob Kellaghan made a mix, dedicated to these legends, and it's a near 2 1/2 hour long set, with 24 of their records. And that just proves to me that their legacy is still standing, and their music is timeless. And I'm glad to share this mix with you all, so you can experience what I did, back in the day! And you can agree or disagree about how awesome DuMonde was/is, but any disagreement will be ignored. Sorry not sorry.

This brings back so many memories. If you were around during the Millennium years, you must have heard these songs everywhere, like I did. They made sure their legacy remained intact, years after, and that's all down to their producing skills. Boy, these songs were awesome!

I'm still enjoying their music, to this day. And some of the songs used in this mix will be on my favourite list as long as I'm alive. Come on, 'God Music', 'Tomorrow', and of course 'Can U Dig It?'. Especially the last one, that song was everywhere! It is one of the best Hard Trance songs ever made. It still packs a punch, and will keep us raving until our dying days.

This mix is solid. I've got no negative feedback to give, only love and appreciation. DuMonde were, and still are, one of the finest acts in Hard Trance history. Like Scot Project. It seems that the Germans knew how to make Hard Trance, and make it well! And I miss those good old days, when you had these awesome produced records, and you couldn't live a day without listening to them. Today is such a day, and I won't stop listening to this mix either. Keep those tracks coming.
