It is Monday. The week has started again, but this time, at the end of the week, we've got something to look forward to. Christmas is so close, but we still have a few days of hard labour to go through. And to do so, we need some pounding records. Some classics, they always seem to do the trick. And instead of going absolutely insane and go 200 BPMs and more, let's just slow it down, and instead play some Trance classics from a era long gone but never forgotten. I've never been, but read the stories online. And of course I had a few compilations released under the Godskitchen umbrella. I only link Godskitchen to Trance music, as those were the only CDs I ever purchased, but was Trance the only kind of music being played at Godskitchen? I don't know, I genuinely don't know.

Yep, this mix contains the classics, that's for sure. And the length of this mix makes it worth while: the duration of this mix is nearly 2 and a half hours, but within those 150 minutes you get 25 excellent Trance anthems from back in the day. And credit where credit is due: ReKre8's selection is really excellent.
A grandiose mix, that's for sure. I really enjoyed it, hearing all these Trance and Hard Trance classics, all in a splendid mix. Of course the biggest hits had to be in here, and I can only imagine how it would have sounded like, hearing these songs being played out loud at Godskitchen. I can only imagine.
I really appreciate Trance music, as I grew up listening to it a lot. And ReKre8's mix is packed with excellent anthems. You've probably heard them a million times already in your life, as they have appeared on many compilations, not just the Godskitchen compilations. And I've owned many. I've spent a fortune when I was younger on compilations. But thankfully, now we've got Soundcloud and the likes of.
The selection is great, and it even contains a few songs I've forgotten. Like 'Joy'. What a wicked anthem, so damn good.
