It is time for Techno. Well, that's basically every single day. Every day we should all listen to Techno at least once. And today I've got a golden oldie for you all. A mix made by stranger, 8 years ago. Not only is the mix an oldie, but also the tracks he has carefully selected for this mix. Pure unadulterated Techno. And today is the perfect day to listen to Techno: I am off, and the weather is atrocious. Perfect Techno day. Dark and edgy, that's today.
I don't know how this ended on my Soundcloud feed, but I think stranger himself reposted it. So thank you stranger for doing that. Let's focus on his mix. According to the info that comes with this mix, it's an hour long and it contains (un)known classic anthems. And he didn't lie as such: the majority of these records are unknown to me. Of course I know the biggest dancefloor anthems like 'Mentasm', 'Three O Three', 'Energy Flash', etc, but he also included a shit ton of obscure underground classics. And after hearing this mix for the fourth time in a row, I can conclude that the end result is a wicked and astonishing mix. stranger has done a good job in entertaining the listeners with this Techno classic mix.

I love Techno. And it doesn't matter if it's light or dark. As long as it's Techno, I am a happy person. And this mix has really made me a happier person. My God, the amount of awesome records in this mix is beyond me. And yes, the majority I am not aware of, but that really doesn't matter much, as long as the outcome is positive. And this mix has given me good vibes, and that's all positive!
The best record in this mix? Difficult. Obviously I want to choose one of the most known Techno anthems, but I'm choosing one you might disagree with: Planet Assault Systems with 'Gated', closely followed by Jeff Mills' 'Reverting'. These two are simply the best.
Another epic mix by stranger. And it's a free download too, so why not make this Friday an even better day, and listen to this classic Techno filled masterpiece?
