Damn, I am late. This party happened yesterday, and I'm writing this review right now. the 18th. How dumb am I? Most of the ravers who attended this event are probably still knocked the fuck out on their beds, or sofas. And I'm sitting here, wide awake, writing this review about a promo mix for an event which happened last night. The lifestyle of the online bloggers, eh? Am I jealous of everyone who went to this? Hell yeah. Mark Archer is a living legend. Proof that the older you get, the more you are into the early Rave music. Mark Archer has been in the game for more than 30 years. Bloody Nora, think about that!
If you think that Mark might retire soon, you are wrong. Oh so wrong. This man has still got the spark in him, and with events like the one yesterday, he's still a huge headliner, and won't stop. He's part of our raving culture, and has to teach the youngsters how partying was done in the 90s, and make sure that the older generation remembers the tunes from the glorious days.
For this event he made this promo mix, which contains only the finest oldskool Rave anthems. Hand selected by the Godfather of Vicks, you know that he's going to take you on a journey. A journey through the classics of back in the days. The anthems that made the whistle crew come alive, and make us all dance like monkeys on acid. Only one Altern 8 record in here, but don't worry, my bet is that he played a few of his own stuff last night.
Why didn't I go? I feel extremely jealous now. Please leave a comment, telling me what kind of awesome party I have missed.

To rub it in even more, this mix is free to download! Will you Adam and Eve it? It's like I had to go to this event, but only got myself to blame. Damn it. But anyway, how tragic as it might sound, I hope Mark and his fans had a brilliant night. Mark, if you are reading this, you are up way too early. Go back to bed, and recover!
It's not just the early Rave music you are getting, but also a bit of the early Drum and Bass. This mix has got everything! It's an emotional rollercoaster for the die hard raver. This is what made the 90s so special, and will be in every raver's mind for decades to come. The hippies had the 60s, we have the 90s. The best years of our lives.
What can I say that could make the mix even better, or even leave a dent on it? Well, nothing. This mix is as good as you would expect it to be. It's made by friggin' Mark Archer, the Godfather! The ledge! The man behind the mask. He knows a thing or two about rave, so it's obvious that this mix is as good as you would expect it to be.
Best record? Cybersonik's 'Technarchy'. One of the first rave anthems I've ever come across. Definate dancefloor shaker.
Mark's mix is tight. Dope. As dope as Vicks. Love it. Watch ya bassbins, I'm telling ya!
