Sunday is nearly at its end, and we have to look out for yet another week of hard work. And we all need something to keep us entertained, right? Have I got the right mix to listen to. A mix by Revokez, which isn't rare on its own, as only a few weeks ago, I reviewed another mix, but as I found this one by accident (the one you are about to listen to), it would be a shame to leave it as is, and not acknowledge how awesome this tribute mix is. A tribute to one of the biggest names in Hardstyle history: Noisecontrollers.

A name in the same league as Headhunterz, Wildstylez, and more. And a name which has followed me for more than 20 years. I've heard many mixes and have had many compilations on which you could find Noisecontrollers songs. And they've always of the same caliber as Headhunterz, the ultimate don of the scene. And sometimes collaborations between these artists have lead to some amazing songs, which have become timeless classics.

Revokez's mix focusses on 44 of Noisecontrollers' records in an hour and a half long mix, and it's a fantastic one. You are immediately brought back to the golden years of Hardstyle, when he dominated the scene, and his music transcended the scene into something magical. I had to write about this one, and I want as many people as possible, to listen to this mix, as it is next level stuff. Never really realised how many of Noisecontrollers' songs were timeless classics, and how big his influence has been for the last 20+ years!

A fine selection of records, and it will certainly make the upcoming week fly by! WFH or in the office, this mix will be on repeat. In the past I already listened to Headhunterz tribute mix by Revokez, and now it's time for Noisecontrollers to take the centre stage, and be the point of interest for the next few days and/or weeks.

Just a sidenote, i've only just learned that Noisecontrollers also goes by the name Kasparov! How's that for some trivia on this Sunday afternoon? I genuinely didn't know that!

This is a very excellent mix with some fine records. And Noisecontrollers have released many excellent ones, or remixed some and turned those into fine records. To me, and that's just personal preference, I do love 'Let Me See Ya'. Dope record. Closely followed by 'Ctrl Alt Delete'.

He's been on top of everything since 2005, and most of the songs have been tremendously great. Not all, some aren't the finest records, but the majority are. And as said, they remain all time classics, and have put a huge smile on my face. A splendid mix by Revokez. And let's hope Noisecontroller's next tribute mix will be in 20 years, when he's been in the scene for 40 years! We can only dream, can we?
