Yesterday the world's largest night event would have taken place, Ground Zero, but COVID being a bitch, obviously a lot has changed. So events got postponed, and now we are waiting for the all clear to get out again and start raving through the night. The best thing we can do is reminisce, and hope that our future is looking brighter and not as bleak as it is now. We will surely prevail, and we will rave again. Maybe with the new 'standard' being the normal way of raving, but we do need to rave again. We need to get some fresh air and kick COVID to death. Fuck COVID.
Looking back at last year's edition, I found a set online. One you might really fancy. A Ruffneck vs Gangsta Alliance liveset from Ground Zero. Now that's a set you would need to hear, if you haven't already. We all know and love the distinctive Ruffneck sound, and during this set you will hear a lot of those memorable and wicked tunes that made Ruffneck a household name in the Hardcore scene. A 50 minute long set, that's kind of short, but it's long enough to get our daily Hardcore fixture. One we are desperate for.
So what can you expect? Are you stupid? Don't you know what Ruffneck and the Gangsta Alliance are capable of? You will hear the finest Hardcore anthems. But with a twist. Trust me though when I say that you will feel nostalgic, and want to play your older CDs again, but you are dreading it, seeing as they are covered in thousands of unrepairable scratches. So yes, you will feel happy and enlightened after.

If anyone knows the missing IDs, please comment below. I am really curious on what the names of these songs are, but not really sure. I know the songs, but my memory always goes blank. Yes, now you've found out why I always ask for tracklists. I am shit in remembering songs. I do know the actual songs, not the titles.
These 50 minutes have flown by. Fucking epic music. There's no denying that Ruffneck vs Gangsta Alliance know what they are doing, and they do bring the music to the masses. I wish I was there, at Ground Zero, hearing these anthems. That would have been great. It's one of those events I've never been to, but would really like to visit it.
Maybe next year, eh? Who knows?
You wouldn't expect me saying the following, but the one track that captured my attention was DJ Isaac's 'Bad Dreams'. Why? Well, because this is the first time I hear Kate Bush in the song. I knew they were her vocals, but they have always been sped up. This is the first time it goes down to Kate Bush's already high pitched level, and it's a nice addition to this track. Catchy track.
A nice set. Short but sweet. With damn good anthems. Let's fucking end this Sunday with a bang. And why not let Ruffneck and Gangsta Alliance wake you the fuck up!?
