Vertile's Dimension @ Supremacy 2022

I only discovered this set a few days ago, and now I'm in love. Not that I needed to be persuaded on how awesome Vertile is. Oh no, that's really not necessary anymore, as I'm a fan. This is obviously my own opinion, but I find his music the best, the most suitable for me. And the comments online all say the same thing: Vertile is a name to look out for. He has slowly been pushing the bar, and he is now playing among the greatest at the biggest events. One of the events he played at was Supremacy. And during Supremacy he showed his 'Dimension' set to a whole new audience. If you've missed it, here it is!

I didn't go, unfortunately. And even if I wanted, the tickets were sold out. And if you watch the video, you can see the whole area filled with people, from the front to the back. For good reason, obviously. One of the things that I've also noticed is the fact that going out is now during the day, instead of through the night? The event started at 13:00 NL time and finished at 23:00. Back in the old days you would only go out at 23:00 and come back home when the light was shining. Maybe the kids can't do an all-nighter?

Vertile wasn't the only artist there: there were artists like Rejecta, Rooler, Killshot, Act of Rage, Rebelion, Cryex, Warface, Radical Redemption, Spitnoise, Ncrypta, and many more. Obviously, me being a harder style lover, I've checked out a few other sets on YouTube, and they are all ace. But it's Vertile's set that does the most to me. His music is just so freaking good. Crowd pleasing music. And didn't he made the biggest anthem of 2022, alongside Headhunterz?

The set is only a short one. Which is truly a pity. He should be given an hour or two, at least. I don't know if he's got enough material to fill 2 hours, but I couldn't care less if he played the same track over and over: it would still be a fucking experience.

But talking about tracks made me wonder: which tracks did he pick for Supremacy, and which got the 'special' Vertile treatment?

  1. Vertile - Supremacy Tool

  2. Rebelion & Vertile - Simulation (Live Edit)

  3. Rebelion - Echoes (Vertile Remix) w/ Act of Rage - My Music w/ Vertile - Ain't Nobodi (Live Edit) (Mashup)

  4. Vertile - Still Happy w/ Vertile - The New Normal (Live Edit) i

  5. Headhunterz & Vertile - Before I Wake (Live Edit)

  6. Vertile & Demi Kanon - How I Do It (Live Edit)

  7. D-Sturb & Vertile - Open Your Heart

  8. Warface & Vertile - Relentless (Live Cut)

  9. Vertile - Together We Grow (Live Edit)

  10. Vertile - No Sleep

  11. Gigi D'Agostino - L'Amour Toujours (Vertile Remix) w/ D-Sturb - Party At My Place (Vertile Remix)

  12. Vertile - On My Own (2022 Edit)

  13. Vertile - Change This Place (Live Edit)

  14. Vertile - Not My Affection (Defqon Edit)

  15. N-Vitral & Vertile feat Last Word - Renegades To The Grave

It's a glorious few records, all crammed into a short set. But not only is the music great! Oh no, there's so much more to this set, which you can only experience if you watch it in full HD/4K on YouTube. So what are you waiting for?

The show itself is fucking epic! The lights! Come on, whoever was responsible for the lights at Supremacy, you deserve a raise! I wasn't there at the event, and even I got blinded by the lights. So many lasers, so many! Some might even say too many, but there's never too many lasers. Credits to the team behind the lights, because it seriously put a smile on my face, and made me gasp for air.

But the main credit goes to Vertile. Even for Supremacy he made a few edits of his already legendary records, and even put in a few 'fake drops'. You know, those moments when the audience 'thinks' the beat kicks in, and then it doesn't.

You just never know what to expect with Vertile. But you do get an awesome experience and excellent music. I wish we could all enter his Dimension and stay there forever: it seems a very lovely place.

The only thing I'm not sure of, is his clothing and face paint. Maybe I'm missing the reasoning behind the ragged clothing and black paint on his face? But who cares?

A solid set, and it ends with a song that I never expected to hear. Vertile goes in harder than expected, with N-Vitral. A bit of different kind of music. Interesting.

Do I need to remind everyone my dislike for MCs? Nope. So I won't. At least he's quiet throughout the majority of the set. You don't want to ruin Vertile's set with your mumbo jumbo chattering. Just keep quiet and let Vertile do his thing. And the way he smiles towards the audience and the camera... he's loving it. And so are we all!
