What a lovely day today is. Double digits, when it comes to the temperature. Sun is out, house is tidy, and garden has been cut for the first time of the year. And the first few sneezes of the year due to the bloody pollen. Yep, today is a good day. And also the first day of the year in which shorts have come out of the wardrobe and and on right now. It's a great day, and let's keep it great that way. Let's put smiles on people's faces, and I think I've got the perfect mix for you all.

Do you love Bouncy Hardcore from 1994 to 1998? Look no further. I certainly won't. I grew up during those glorious years, and I remember most of it, like it was only yesterday. Too young to actually go out and rave, but not too young to not understand the importance of the music. And boy, did I listen to Hardcore during those years? Well I pose a counter question to that: does a bear shit in the woods? OF COURSE did I listen to this. Are you freaking mad?

And you might call this Bouncy Hardcore, I like to call it Happy Hardcore. No shame in loving Happy Hardcore. If you do not, how can we even be friends? The mix, by Colin Bell (obviously), contains a shit ton of excellent tunes I've not heard in a while. You've got to remember: what I was listening to, was mainly Dutch and/or European Hardcore, not so much UK Hardcore. That came later.

At first, I thought it was a Scott Brown appreciation mix. The amount of his records in this mix is insane, but truth be told: he did dominate the 90s.

All jokes aside, this mix has been received very well, and I have to agree with all those who already listened to this mix. It is dope, A trip back in time, to when music was everything. And it's a shame that most of those records do not get played that often. I often wonder why. Maybe forgotten, or on purpose not played. I do not see a reason why we should be forgetting these records, as they are so damn good.

Yes, maybe it's the cheese element, but we all love a bit of cheese.

Colin's mix is dope. Lot of obscure tracks, and I have to give him credit for playing these 30 records. It's mixes like this one which I admire, and hopefully it will give these records a second chance, and hopefully they will get played more and more. Let's not forget or underestimate these records.

It's a solid mix with some serious anthems. Now my favourite record. You probably would think it is 'Can't Stop Raving' or 'Party', but I'm giving it to 'Trauma (Rock Your Body)'. Those piano bits will get stuck in your head for days!

The Sun is still out, so let's go outside and enjoy it. And if you are planning on doing a BBQ, why not have this playing in the background?
