I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. And you got all the presents you were wishing for. And obviously, you got fed well. Or maybe too well, as most families around this festive period go overboard with the amount of food. I hope the food was sufficient enough, and that you are now feeling as stuffed as the turkey. But Christmas is so much more than just food and presents. Depending on your beliefs, it could be to celebrate the birth of an important figure in human history. I hope your Christmas day and Boxing day have both been pleasant enough.

I know for a fact that my Christmas was good. We had good food, and we played board games. We even had a power cut in our little village. That was a bit awkward, but we still made it entertaining. Board game, a bit of Christmas food, a torch to keep our house a bit lit, and Christmas music. That's now all behind us, and it is time to say goodbye to Christmas music, and play good music again. And the mix I've found today, is one you will certainly appreciate.

The mix you are about to listen to, is the first instalment of a series focussed on Trance songs released in the 21st century. The mix was made by Daniel Skyver, who has had a previous entry on this site back in 2022. I have not reviewed anything in between 2022 and now, but what a mix to end the year with. And as I can tell, it's split into two mixes (so far). There could be more mixes coming, who knows? The century started in 2001, and has been ongoing for 25 years.... so many good Trance tunes have been released, and there will be more and more..

A very splendid mix to listen to on the 27th of December. Come on, we're done now, listening to Christmas songs. Let's enjoy the good music released in the first quarter of the 21st century. It's been a tremendous 25 years, and I hope to witness more quarters, at least one more.

This mix has made me very happy. So many wicked anthems, ranging from 2000 up until the present year we are in. It's a nice selection of records, and they all blend in nicely together. This is a nearly 2 hour long mix with some serious hitters. You will thank me after this review, for giving you the opportunity to listen to this mix. And obviously we are thankful for Daniel Skyver to have made this mix.

It's a splendid mix. It has given me goose bumps, hearing those euphoric anthems again. The one that got me the most euphoric, is 'Made Of Love'. Leave it up to Ferry Corsten to make a song so damn beautiful. It was closely followed by 'The Spell' and 'Just Because', but it is still miles ahead of the others in this mix. Maybe because of the gorgeous vocals?

A solid mix. Go and listen to it right now. It is cold outside, and no real reason for you to be out. Turn the heating up, and whilst you are at it, turn the volume up too!
