Early Freeform. Not the biggest fan of it, if I'm honest. When it was still called Trancecore. And that's a very long time ago. I remember purchasing a lot of UK Hardcore CD compilations, and there would always be at least 1 or 2 discs focussed on this style of music. Maybe I was a bit biased, or just preferred UK Hardcore more (as it shares a lot of the music with Happy Hardcore), but Trancecore or Freeform just never grabbed me as much as it should have done. 0bviously I'm a bit older now, and have got common sense, and I started to like it a bit more. Still new to it, but appreciate it so far...
I'd much prefer the newer sounding Freeform. And that's just me telling the truth. But I start to venture into the earlier sound, the Trancecore/Freeform from ye oldie times. But let's not dwell on the fact that my musical taste is fucked up, let's focus on what's in front of us. A new mix, one I only discovered this morning, while being in the office. I saw it, and jumped on it like a mad dog, a rabid dog, attacking its prey. That's me.
DJ Seany is the man behind this mix, and sadly I'm not aware of who he is. But instead I shall focus on the music. And the music is as old as you want it to be. To you it might sound outdated compared to the current Freeform, but you might like that? I'm open to literally anything: I couldn't care less if the music was from 1980, 1918, or 1890. Music is music, and it has the power to move you. But is this mix strong enough to move you, get you in the zone?

I know the artists, I know the songs, but it's been a long time since I last heard them. And I do mean a long time. Probably when I started purchasing most of the Bonkers CDs, mid 2000s. And you might be a connoisseur and know them all and adore them, and if you are, I envy you.
I'm still trying to get into it. And the tracks selected by Seany are very cool, no word of a lie.
Some might a tad outdated, but still cool, and others just sound otherworldly. Is it Trancecore? Is it Freeform, or something completely different?
I do like the feeling and the vibes, so that's a positive. A few tiny errors won't spoil the mix for you, and if you want to go back in time, to the early Freeform years, this is a good start.
Don't know much else is there to say? Enjoy it...
