Refined Trance Vol2 (2026)

Oh, what a lovely day. It is Saturday, and the weather is gorgeous. Obviously, as the whole of Europe has been extremely warm throughout the last 2 months. But everything seems to be perfect. Not just the weather. The chores have been done, and now it's time for some PS5 time. Later tonight a wedding party, so all is going to be well. And accompanying me this weekend, is a splendid mix which has been on repeat for days on end, yet Soundcloud does not show it on their 'FANS' section. But before I dive too deep into this mix, let's have a talk about this one.

Made by Dan F, and it's called 'Refined Trance', and it's the second mix in this series. Not seen the first one, but if it's as good as this one, I might just give that one a go too. For now, let's focus on this second one. And it's got some big songs in it. It has been a blessing, a true listening pleasure for those who love Trance music, which includes yours truly.

Since seeing Tiesto in London, I've been on this quest to find more and more Trance mixes, and it seems that Soundcloud is listening to me, as the majority of music found on Soundcloud is Trance music. It could also be that one of the biggest Trance events in the world just took place (Luminosity), but whatever the reason is for the plethora of Trance mixes, you don't hear me complaining. And Dan F's mix is certainly one you want to check out!

What a wonderful mix. It has been on since 9am, and it's not 6pm (ish), and it is still going strong. Dan F has picked some mighty fine records, and the mix has gone by too damn quickly. Maybe it's part of this fantastic day, and everything blends into one. One wicked day.

But it's all about the music, and the records are great. Very uplifting, euphoric, and progressive. As said, I've not heard the first mix, but if it's as good as this one, I'm in for a treat. I've not heard any of these songs before, but what I do know, is that two songs stand out by a mile. ''It's My Turn'' and ''Holding On''. Maybe it's because of the awesome vocals, who knows? But the songs speak to me more than the others.

It keeps me happy, and on my toes, and also feeling ecstatic. I've got this craving for more Trance now, and that's not all Dan's fault, but partially. With a mix like this one, he knew he was going to do some damage, and my speakers are feeling it now. Constant bangers coming at me through my speakers. They want to catch their breath, but I won't let them. If the mix comes to an end, it goes on repeat (yet again).

A blinding mix, got nothing else to add. Wicked records, wicked mix. Go and enjoy it as much as I did!
